A few months ago it seemed these were popping up pretty often, and I really wanted to make one, but I had a tough time choosing which scene was my favorite from each movie. I didn't include Frozen though, because I'm still unsure what my favorite is. Well, I've finally narrowed it down for the others and came up with something that made me pretty happy, so let's go! I hope you enjoy :)

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

It was extremely tough choosing between With a Smile and a Song and the ending, but With a Smile and a Song wins out for me. The song isn't exactly the reason it places here, but the moments before and after. I just love how after going through so much Snow picks herself up and even apologizes to the animals for frightening them! I also love how it shows Snow's logic since after singing the song she immediately starts to think of where she'll seek shelter. I love Snow's line, "I really feel quite happy now, I'm sure I'll get along somehow." This scene is just so happy and it can always cheer me up!

Cinderella

My favorite scene in Cinderella is So This Is Love. Not only is it my favorite Disney love song, and quite possibly my favorite Disney Princess song, but the entire moment just makes me so happy for Cinderella. She's gone through so much and she for sure deserves this happy ending. The song is so calming and I love the bit after the song where Cinderella says that she still has to see the prince!

Sleeping Beauty

Ahh, Sleeping Beauty. The choice was tough between the spindle scene and the forest scene, but I had to go with the forest scene. It is more or less the only time we really get to see Aurora's personality and Aurora is my favorite, so of course I love this scene. If I had to narrow it down, because the forest scene is quite long, it'd be the moment where Aurora is describing her dream prince. It just shows how dreamy she is and how tricky she is and I just love the way Aurora sounds and it's just perfect to me.

The Little Mermaid

This scene was quite easy for me to pick. It's short, maybe even less than a minute long, but it's always left an impact on me. The scene is Ariel with Eric's statue. I know it's a bit of an odd scene to choose, but it's always been my favorite. I love how dreamy Ariel is being in that scene and it's just always put a smile on my face. Part of Your World is a pretty close second though.

Beauty and the Beast

This scene was a bit tough to choose, though I have to go with Belle (reprise). Not only is the song beautifully animated, with the colors and all, but the song is really nice too. I love the beginning best where she's being a bit sassy and defiant, and I love how the song changes into a Sound of Music type scene and how she wishes to get away from her provincial life. The scene is just really amazing.

Aladdin

Hmm...any scene with Jasmine is a plus for me in this movie. My favorite would have to be the town scene though. I love how she shows her kindness by giving that little boy an apple, and how she also shows a bit of naivety. I love when she pretends to act like a crazy person. I love Aladdin and Jasmine's talk on the balcony. The entire scene is just amazing! This scene adds so much to Jasmine's character and I really love seeing that.

Pocahontas

Cough..cough..THE ENTIRE MOVIE. Ahh, this movie is just wonderful. There are so many standout scenes for me. The ending, Savages 2, Kocoum's death (which I find extremely hauntingly beautiful), but in the end I decided to go with Pocahontas's decision. I love the symbolism with the compass and the score and the buildup and her overcoming and developing. I love how Pocahontas comes to Grandmother Willow so defeated and lost, but leaves strong and decisive. The entire scene is just a huge yes for me and I really love it dearly.

Mulan

Mulan's decision is such a YES scene for me. I just love it so much. The score is so wonderful, the animation is just amazing, and I really love Mulan's selflessness and bravery in this scene. I love how she chops off all her hair and changes into the uniform and how this scene really marks a turning point for Mulan. I've also always loved the end scene, where Mulan and her father reconnect and the touching scene they share. All and all, this scene was just too amazing for me to pass up.

The Princess and the Frog

Oh, this was easy! My favorite scene, by far, is Naveen's almost proposal. The entire scene is just so sweet and ahh I love it so much! It really shows Naveen's softer side and I love how he's trying so hard to impress Tiana and how he's failing, and how he can't end up doing it because Tiana gets distracted with the restaurant. Whenever I watch this movie, I always get sooo excited for this scene and it's one of my all time favorite romantic moments for sure, even if it's not too romantic.

Tangled

It was a tough choice between Mother Knows Best (reprise), the campfire scene, and the kingdom scene, but the kingdom scene wins it out. I just love this scene so much! The montage through the kingdom with the dancing and the music and the street art and the cupcakes and the everything just screams fun and an amazing time! I love the entire scene so dearly and the score from the dance is definitely one of my top five favorite scores from any Disney movie. This scene alone makes Rapunzel and Eugene one of my favorite couples!

Brave

I love this movie so much. Such an underrated movie in my opinion. I love the scene where Merida is a child and Elinor is singing to her, and the scene where Merida and Elinor go fishing and her mom goes into full bear mode and almost hurts Merida, but neither are my favorite. My favorite is, undeniably my favorite scene from any Disney Princess movie, Merida's apology. The scene is so emotional to me. I love the growth we see in Merida in this scene, and this is the only scene from any animated movie (not including anime) that put me on the verge of tears. I love this scene more than words can describe and it will forever be a favorite of mine!

Soo, that's my article! Comment below if we share any of the same favorites in common! Thanks so much for reading and I hope you enjoyed!! :) Oh, and sorry if this was unnecessarily long..I usually end up writing way more than I need to XD

On the eighth day of Princess Walt Disney gave to me

Eight mice a-sewing

seven dwarves dancing
six sisters singing
five cursed friend

four braiding girls
three fairy spells
two lucky pals
and the wisdom of an old tree.

I guess I have to apologize...I did my best to create pages featuring the princesses as the sole centre of attraction, but with Jasmine that is a little bit difficult because she is usually featured with Aladdin, rarely alone. I could have either found or created a picture of Jasmine if I really wanted to, but I really liked this one and it just seemed to fit her the best. So I made...

On the Third Day of Princess Walt Disney gave to me,

Three fairy spells,
Two lucky pals,
and the wisdom of an old tree.

Another day, another page for the calendar. And unlike the last one, this one was kind of a headache for me. Remember a while back when I asked you which princess fits which months? Most of you felt that Merida belongs into autumn because of her red hair. Thing is: I already had three princesses for autumn. In addition, I don't think that Brave is actually set in fall, I think it is either spring or summer during the movie. So I hope that you are not too disappointed that I ended...

On the Second Day of Princess Walt Disney gave to me,
Two Lucky pals,
and the Wisdom of an old Tree

So as promised the second day of goodies with a new page for the calendar. I will, btw, upload all the calendar pages separately in the image section of the spot once my 12 days of princesses are done, and all of them have been revealed. I am pondering if I should also create a version which has all pages on one big sheet. If there is any interest in this, please comment. Also, if someone wants a different seize for the wallpapers then the three I am already offering, I am open for request. Speaking...

It's typical of sequels to come out about 2 or 3 years after the first film. Sometimes, sequels come out the year after the first one. However, Frozen 2 has come out 6 years after the first film. That's something it has in common with Alice Through the Looking Glass, which came out 6 years after the first film. Of course, the big the question is if the wait was worth it. In this review, I will discuss how the two films compare to each other, as well as give my feelings on the premise and cast of characters.

Frozen 2 brings back the cast of the first film (excluding Prince Hans and the Duke...

Wow, ok. It's been five years (oh lordy) since I last wrote one of these, and with a new princess officially in the lineup I think it's high time I revisited my list. Let's do this.

12. Rapunzel

Uuuuuuuuuuuuugh Rapunzellllllllllllllllllll I really wish I liked her more than I do. The funny thing is that I actually think she's a great character and she's also one of my most relatable DPs, but despite this she just doesn't do it for me. There are two primary reasons for this. Firstly, she is not a particularly believable character for me. Seriously, no one would be that socially well-rounded after...

Out of the entire princess lineup, only three of them were the biggest part of my childhood. Cinderella was sorta part of my childhood but mainly the Brandi Norwood version because I preferred that one over the animated version. And I’m not counting Rapunzel because her movie came out when I was almost an adult.

3. Mulan

A lot of you might know that Mulan is my favorite princess and she’s been number 1 on my list for years. I was 5 years old when I watched her movie on tape and I remember being so in love with her and the movie immediately. Mulan was one of the biggest feminist icons in my...

This is a movie I'm really not looking forward to watching. I don't mind watching sequels because I used to love them so much when I was a kid but Mulan is one of my all-time favorite movies ever and this sequel is like on a Maleficent level of ruining original characters.

Tonight's rewatch: Mulan 2
Last time watched: 2005-2006

How much did I like this movie as a kid?
I saw the commercial for this movie when I was 11 and I was excited because, again, Mulan is one of my all-time favorite movies. I didn't actually watch the movie until I was 13 or 14 because I was starting middle school when this...

I'm really looking forward to watching this one. Mulan was one of my favorite movies growing up!

Tonight's rewatch: Mulan

How much did I like this movie as a kid?
I loved this movie when I was a kid! Mulan, both the movie and the character, was actually one of the reasons I became a feminist and why I love badass women (kinda why I don't 100% blame the revival era for people hating princesses who find love or aren't "kickass"). I used to sing the songs all the time when I was a kid and I loved any merch I could get (which wasn't a lot). I still have my stuffed Cri-Kee that...

Hello everyone! This is the first of many articles soon to come and I hope you enjoy reading this just as much as I did writing it :)

For each article I will write about;

1. How much I enjoyed/disliked the movie as a child

2. How much I have forgotten

3. Princess (will she be higher on my list or lower?)

4. Movie (will the movie be higher on my list or lower?)

5. Rating

6. How much has my opinion changed?

7. Would I watch it again?

Tonight's rewatch: Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
Last time watched: 2001 (seriously, how can I consider myself a Disney Princess fan if I waited THIS LONG to watch this...

This review was originally posted months ago but I deleted it because......I was gonna use it for a school assignment and I didn't wanna leave this up so my lecturer could search and accuse me of plagiarism. lmao

Anyway, I ended up not using it and I decided to put it back up.

So right off the bat, I have to say that this movie is very.....average. It honestly feels like a tv episode padded out with songs to make it feature length. Moana is a likable enough character, I can almost pinpoint exact moments where she's like previous Disney female protagonists like Ariel, Pocahontas, Mulan and Rapunzel...
