Night fall came like a bullet and the plan immediately went into motion. The men built the fire while the women prepared drinks. Mulan prayed this would go well. *This better not end in catastrophe!* she thought. She had no time to dwell on this. She HAD to focus. Once everyone was by the fire, the process of the plan began.

The posse of friends had a dang good time too! They laughed and joked around. Mulan, Pocahontas and John enjoyed it while they could. When the moon was out, it was time for the plan to officially go to work. "I need to go in for a bit." John stated. "Me too. I need to write a letter to my people." Pocahontas replied. "I also need to go in. I have clean up and check on Ping." Mulan added. The threesome trotted in.

Shang and Merida looked at each other awkwardly. "Eh, so, my dad says you take yer job very seriously." Merida said trying to start a conversation. "I do." Shang replied. "YOU were to be betrothed once, from what I understand." he continued. "That's right. I wasn't ready." Merida confessed. Shang saw the soft sides of Merida and himself. "Was yer father a General too?" Merida asked. "Yes he was." Shang answered. He let out a tear.

"Did somethin' happen to him?" Merida asked comforting him. "He was killed in battle." Shang answered. "I-I couldn't grieve!" he sobbed. Merida put both of her hands on his shoulder. "Pocahontas would say 'He's still with you.'." she soothed. Shang took a deep breath as he draped his arm around her. He sniffled.

"Ye know, my mother almost became a bear permanently. If she were, I'd kick myself every single day." Merida said. "There would be no one to blame but me." she continued. "Don't say that. Everyone acts out sometimes." Shang comforted. Merida leaned on him. "I've been nothing but a worthless unruly princess." she said. Shang's jaw dropped as he began to regret all the bad things he said about her. "Hey, don't put yourself down! You've been ANYTHING but worthless!" Shang soothed.

Merida looked at him with her turquoise eyes. "I'm sorry about all the things I said about you. I guess I'm sometimes TOO serious..." Shang apologized. Merida took his hands. "You're not alone. I can be selfish, TOO wild, and more sensitive than I realize." she stated. "Let's promise to have each other's backs from now on!" Shang fulfilled. He and Merida shared a VERY warm embrace. Everything was falling into place. Every fuming thing was now put to rest.

Mulan let out a low sigh of happiness. Little did Shang and Merida know that she, Pocahontas and John had been watching through the window! "Well, I'm actually glad I was wrong on that part!" John confessed. "Thant means we'll be able to enjoy the rest of the trip!" Pocahontas added. A couple hours later, Mulan saw Shang and Merida asleep out by the fire. She smiled and went to get a blanket. As she covered them up, she giggled as she saw Merida snuggled up to Shang and heard heard him snoring quietly. She watched the two sleep for a minute then headed back inside.

"How are they?" Pocahontas asked. "They're still enjoying themselves!" Mulan answered. "I'm glad Shang is friends with Merida now." Pocahontas confessed. "Isn't that the truth!" Mulan added. She held Ping as he slept. "My parents didn't have to watch Ping." she confessed. "They'd do anything for that child." Pocahontas reassured. "I know, but with my grandmother pushing 90, she also needs people being there for HER." Mulan said.

"She's had a blissful life." Pocahontas said. "I'm pretty thankful she got to meet Ping. Yet I know she isn't going to be here much longer." Mulan replied with the sadness in her voice. She gently cradled Ping's head with her other hand. "When she passes, she'll never really be gone. She'll still be with you. When the wind blows, you'll feel her presence." Pocahontas comforted. Mulan smiled a little smile. "You sure know how to make people feel better." she said. "It's a special gift." Pocahontas replied. The two girls went to bed afew minutes later.

The 10 OFFICIAL Disney Princesses
The 10 OFFICIAL Disney Princesses
Alot of people debate over this, so I thought I'd be the one to address it. Who's royalty or who's not royalty really doesn't matter to me but I'm just going to tell you guys who's techinically a princess and who isn't . I will address the royal status of each in random order.

Mulan
First of all, Mulan is not a princess in anyway, we all know this. But you could say she's royalty as she was given the crest of the Emperor. Not to mention all of China bowing down to her. So while Mulan isn't royalty, she's certainly not a commoner.

Belle
Technically, she isn't a princess either. Belle obviously wasn't...

My first article for this month. This time I decided to take a closer look at my favorite DP movie endings. So sit back and enjoy :)

10. Princess and the Frog

Ok, last on my list is the Princess and the Frog ending... and honestly I didn't like it at all. First of all the movie was a total lolfest. The music was not memorable, the characters were boring. I basically couldn't wait for it to finish. And then in the end it has like 5 different endings... Wedding in the swamps, wedding in a church, buying the restaurant, fixing the restaurant, singing one more unmemorable song... after each...

First of all, thanks to all of you, who voted in the picks! Here's the results for Prettiest Disney Princess Eyes as of May 2011!

10. MULAN
Overall people thought that her eyes are not big enough, and not as interesting as the eyes of the other princesses (whatever this means lol) Somehow the shape and the color are not vivid enough to make a lasting impression.
