Smartest Disney Princess COUNTDOWN RESULTS! Voted by Fanpop users!

So, I made a poll counting down the smartest disney Princess and it's time to find put who will be the smartest Disney Princess! Please keep in kind that it isn't my opinion, it's the opinion of the fanpop users. Enjoy the article! :)
Also, for some comments I had to shorten or change them.

I figured she'd be down near the bottom, and it looks like I was right about that. Overall, a lot of people agreed that she didn't receive a great education, some people said she wasn't very bright, and one said she was stupid. In my opinion she is one of the least educated princesses, but it's not really her fault. As the comment above says, she was locked away for no reason.

This wasn't a huge surprise either, but unlike Anna, Ariel actually had a lot of people supporting her. Some said that she was not educated in the human world, some found her to be the stupidest Disney Princess and/or the only Disney Princess they actually found stupid. One person said that she wasn't as smart in the human world because she had Scuttle for a teacher, and others thought her going to Ursula was a stupid decision. However, some defended her, and didn't think she was stupid at all. In my opinion she's only stupid in the human world but she doesn't appear to be too smart about her decisions either.

Well, it's no wonder Aurora is so low, she only gets like 18 lines in the movie! Well, a lot of people found her to be bland and didn't think she was very well educated nor smart. A few defended her, especially after she was eliminated. However, mostly, people thought that her lack of screen time prevented us from finding out how well educated or smart she was.

(Missangelpaws, I had to edit your comment a LOT to make it fit in the caption. Sorry if it doesn't look the same.) Well it was SURELY no surprise that Snow White would make it this low, but it was a surprise that she made it into the top 10. A lot of people thought she made a stupid decision letting the queen in. However, there were a couple people that thought that it wasn't really her fault since the queen was apparently having a heart attack and was an old woman. Snow White actually scored tons of votes in the beginning, so it's likely that even more people think that she wasn't very smart or educated, but Anna, Ariel, and Aurora received more comments.

That was actually all I could find for the comments. That part of the poll received only 3 comments. So I really don't have anything else to say here. I'm guessing that people thought she either made decisions that weren't smart or didn't think she was very well educated. Anyways, she still received the most comments, so she was eliminated.

Cinderella received a few comments, but just enough to eliminate her. Anyways, people thought she made some smart decisions, but they didn't think she was educated at all. She received a majority of the votes from education, which is what I asked people to vote for, so I think she bit the placement she needed.

She didn't even know she had to PAY for apples, she knows nothing about safety or how the world is, she's a fast learner, but she's very naïve in other ways, she doesn't use her brain as I would, but she's not completely dumb-bellerose829

Some people thought she was dumb and knew nothing about the world. Some said she was educated, just naïve. Some people thought she was quick thinking, but some others thought she wasn't smart at all. A lot of people though, thought that she had a great education and shouldn't have been eliminated. But majority rule, sorry for those people.

I think it's Elsa's turn now because she isn't shown much in the movie so we don't know how much she is educated. I know she is smarter than people think she is but I can't prove anything because she doesn't have much screentime. -manu962

Most people thought she wasn't educated, because obviously, she was locked in her room for a very long time. No one really thought she was that smart or educated. Some people thought she was smarter than people give her credit for, but they still didn't think she was a genius or even that smart at all. There was also an argument about if people thought freezing the kingdom was dumb, but I believe that was resolved. But anyways, congrats to Elsa for beating her sister. By 7 spots actually.

People thought she was actually really smart, however, pretty much everyone agreed that she was hardly educated, and if she was, she was self-taught, which IS impressive, but people still agreed the others had a better education. She actually received a lot of comments on the round before she was eliminated as well, but she pulled herself slightly before Elsa and got into the top 5.

People thought she was really smart, (although one person thought she was stupid for kissing a frog.) but because of the fact that she was a black woman in the 1900's, people thought she didn't receive a great education at all. People thought she was smart, but sadly she did not get a fantastic education.

People found her to be very smart, and people thought that since she was literate made her even smarter. People also thought that she received one of the best educations out of the Disney Princesses. However, she was still eliminated because some people believed that she still didn't receive a good education.

Merida caught a VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY lucky break. She's been getting votes since the beginning and she made the top 2! Anyways, people thought she made stupid decisions, but a lot of people thought that she received one of the best educations that Disney Princesses have got. Some even believed she got the best education out of ALL the Disney Princesses. However, she was destroyed in the final round by our number one.

Well, I'm pretty sure we all knew Mulan was going to win. People thought that she was very smart overall, some people didn't think she had an amazing education but most did, although one person didn't think she was smart at all. However, the majority of the people thought she was very smart. She is the winner of the smartest/best educated Disney Princess COUNTDOWN!

AudreyFreak I don't see why people talked about Aurora being bland- what does that have to do with being smart? and we do know she is somewhat educated- there's books in her bedroom and it would be pretty safe to assume the fairies wouldn't be dumb enough to send her back to her parents knowing nothing like reading or how to be a princess. And presumably Elsa got as much if not more education (for being older AND heir) than Anna. We see she's learned how to be a ruler, and in A Sister More Like Me she likes to study, especially geometry. I totally disagree with Merida being high. I missed most of this countdown so I don't know what people said but I'd love to see their reasoning, because why is Anna last and Merida high when they're both princesses- presumably educated ones- and both make a bad decision? I'm confused about what this whole countdown is about- you call it who is the smartest but keep mentioning education. Just going to school or learning math and stuff doesn't necessarily make you smart. (In fact with today's awful school system it's doing the opposite in many cases!). I can't tell if this is about intelligence or how much you've learned, which are two very different things. but on the plus side, it looks like people were being less biased here for once, which is good. I don't think we should have a countdown on education because pretty much none of them are shown getting one except for brief scenes with Rapunzel and Merida.
avatar_tla_fan Actually, audreyfreak, it wasn't just you who disagrees with Merida being high, as you can see in the comments under her picture. A LOT of people have been voting for her since the beginning, but somehow, she was always second one time, and then in the next round, where she should have been eliminated, someone else comes in and takes it.

Swanpride I am confused...was the question which Disney princess is more intelligent (in this case, Mulan and Rapunzel belong to the top) or better educated (than the crown belongs to Merida, followed by Belle)?

I told people to vote for the least educated, but it got mixed up and people chose the most stupid instead of the least educated. I'm confused too, I really messed up here and I'm sorry everyone I did it completely wrong.

MissCassecou Nice article; I like the descriptions! I would definitely say Mulan is the smartest, and she's also creeping up behind Belle into the first spot on my favourite DP list. However best educated I would say Merida. Also I disagree with what people said about Aurora being a boring, underdeveloped character and therefore uneducated. So I agree with AudreyFreak on that point; but it's of course not your fault, so I'm not disagreeing with you or anything. I look forward to more articles from you.

UnholyNoise Assuming Elsa didn't get an education because she was locked up in her room all day is weird imo. She was still expected to rule someday and presumably got the best tutoring possible, just like most royals. Studying is probably what kept her busy and kept her connected to a world she couldn't interact with. Also, freezing the kingdom wasn't even a conscious decision - her powers, at least at that point, were mostly a reflex.
notbrandyss My thoughts Snow - probably the dumbest/most ignorant. probably the Stepmother didn't further educate her in order to undermine her Cinderella- I think she is pretty smart. Knows when to speak out of order and when not to, and studied history (naming a mouse after a Roman Emperor) and knows sarcasm. Aurora- the movies doesn't show us anything to suggest she's either that dumb or smart. Ariel- being a princess she was probably well educated, but still, too immature and emotional at times to make good decisions. Belle- sorta, the film wants to play up her intelligence but she makes a lot of dumb decisions in the heat of the moment, she never really uses her intelligence in a capable manner. Jasmine- half and half. she's a quick learner but she's also naive in a lot of things. she's willing to admit her mistakes and learn from them, tho. Pocahontas- sorta, like Ariel she sorta gets driven away from very immature choices as well. Mulan- like Jasmine, learns from her mistakes and is a quick learner, but she's not as naive. pretty smart. Tiana- works well and understands of economy. pretty smart for me. Rapunzel- she has a load of talents and knows about astrology. may be sheltered but she certainly knows things like assertion and such. Merida- very well educated. makes one bad decision but she later learns for the better. Has archery/survival skills and gains diplomatic skills at the end. Anna- also pretty dumb and sheltered...I think the film is supposed to show this as a bad thing tho. Elsa- ^^

13. Aurora: She's actually the only DP I dislike, although I don't hate her. I'm not a big fan of Sleeping Beauty either, the only character I really like is Maleficent. I just find Aurora to be a boring and bland character. There are things I like about her, I find her to be very beautiful and have a great singing voice, but other than that I don't really like her.
