Okay, so I already did this, but with a different method. This time, I'll just be doing the regular way I always do it. Anyways, please keep in mind that this is my opinion, and we may disagree, so respect my opinion and I'll respect yours.

Enjoy the article! :)

13. Merida
In my opinion, she definitely isn't ugly, but she's not as pretty as the rest of the Disney Princesses here. First, I absolutely LOVE her curly red hair! It's absolutely gorgeous. I also love her eyes, they're very pretty, especially with the blue color to them. However, I do have a problem with her head. Her hair is probably one of the most ranted on things about her appearance. It's just.. So circular. I don't really like her head shape at all, it's not only unrealistic, but looks weird. There are some shots where her head looks normally shaped, but sadly for Merida, that's not enough to put her higher on the list. I'm also not a fan of her neck, I think it's too long, especially in certain shots. Sorry Merida, you've been slipping down all my lists, and you're slipping down this one too.

12. Jasmine
Sorry Jasmine lovers, but I've never been a huge fan of Jasmine's looks. I do think she can be very pretty in certain shots, but in other ones? Not so much. I think she's actually quite pretty with her hair down, but I don't like her hairstyle that is in most of the film. Her looks have started to grow on me though. I used to not think she was pretty, but now I think she really is, just not one of the prettiest.

11. Aurora
*Is hunted down, shot, hanged, and killed.* Nope, Aurora isn't number one, or anywhere near it! I've always found her incredibly overrated in the looks department. I do like hair, but I hate it in the animation of the film, and it's only the movie I'm judging it on, not her redesign. I think she has a weird face shape, has an unrealistic and weird looking body, and like I said before, the animation isn't helping her look any better either. I know this is a very unpopular opinion, but I think she is nothing special, and I don't see how someone given the gift of beauty could be well.. Not that pretty. *is shot again*

10. Anna
I do think she is extremely pretty, but I do have a bit of issues with her appearance. First, I don't like her hair at all! Its my least favorite Disney Princess hair. I hate the white streak in it, and I don't like how her hair color mixes with it, it just looks weird. Other than her hair, I think she's gorgeous. I absolutely love her eyes, they're gorgeous. If I liked her hair more, or if she had hair like Cinderella, she would probably be in the top five on this list. Anyways, she's gorgeous, but I don't like her hair.

9. Pocahontas
I think she's absolutely gorgeous. First, I know most people think the same, but she definitely has the best body out of the Disney Princesses. But besides that, her hair is absolutely gorgeous, I wish some of the other Disney Princesses had their hair down, or had longer hair, because it looks great on Pocahontas. I'm not a fan of her nose or eyes though, not her lips. I'm not saying I dislike them, I just think her eyes and nose are poorly drawn, and her lips.. I just don't like them. I know they've been called "fish lips" before though, and I guess I can understand where you're getting it from, if you've said that. Anyways, I thinks he's gorgeous, but I just find the others better looking.

8. Elsa
Like Pocahontas, I think she's gorgeous, but Thera re some things I don't like. I love her eyes, they're my favorite Disney Princess eyes, absolutely gorgeous. I'm kind of mixed about her hair, sometimes I'll look at it and say, "Wow! I love her hair!" And sometimes I'll look at her hair and say, "Meh, it looks kind of weird." So, sometimes I love her hair, and sometimes I hate it, but I guess that's better than just hating it altogether. Anyways, I think Elsa is gorgeous, but sometimes I think her hair can look weird, and I think she doesn't have that much "natural beauty", at least compared to the others, which are all mostly naturally beautiful.

7. Mulan
*sighs* Mulan, you really just haven't been to high on my lists lately, have you? She's been dropping from most of my lists, but my prettiest list doesn't change too often, and it's usually the top five that change on this list, so she probably won't be any lower later, well, hopefully. Well, I love her hair, especially at the end of the film. I also think she's one of the most naturally beautiful Disney Princesses, it's great. She's one of those characters on my prettiest list where I can't really think of why she's not in the top five, I guess I just think the others are simply prettier than she is, although she is still gorgeous.

6. Ariel
ARGH! I hate not having Ariel in the top five, I want her to be there! But sadly for Ariel, I just think the others are more gorgeous than she is. I think Ariel is prettiest on land, more so than in water. This picture is probably my favorite shot of her. I absolutely live her hair, but I think it's prettier when she's a human, it just doesn't look as good underwater as it does when she's on land. Anyways, like Mulan, I want her to be higher, but the others are just prettier than she is, in my opinion, and no, I'm not going to do a tie, so sorry Ariel, no top five for you.

5. Snow White
Although the animation in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is nothing compared to The Little Mermaid's animation, I still think Snow White is prettier than Ariel. I mentioned earlier that the Sleeping Beauty animation doesn't do any favors to Aurora, but then I excuse Snow White? I honestly think the animation in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is much better than Sleeping Beauty's animation, and it doesn't have that annoying thing where the color of her hair tends to change throughout the movie, which could either make Aurora prettier, or uglier. Anyways, back to Snow White, I think she is absolutely gorgeous! Her hair, her lips, her face (So Adorable!), I just live the ways he looks. My only complaint is that I wish her hair was longer, and the animation was better, because it can't compare with modern animation. If she met those two requirements, she would be in my top three.

4. Rapunzel
I promise I'm not being biased, I find her absolutely gorgeous. I'm judging this by both her blond and brown hair, and she might be one spot if I was just judging her with her blond hair. I know people will complain about me not liking her brown hair, but I just don't like the hairstyle, I don't mind the color. However, with her blond hair, she is absolutely gorgeous! Even though Mother a Gothel points put some of her appearance flaws in 'Mother Knows Best', I still think she's gorgeous. I also love her eyes, they're my second favorite Disney Princess eyes. I think the other three are just more gorgeous though.

3. Belle
To those of you who are going to say I'm biased, if I was, than Belle would be at the bottom, just going to point that out. Anyways, as much as I don't like her at all, I think she's absolutely gorgeous! She's slightly plain, but I think she's better as a plain beauty than an overdone beauty. I'm not a giant fan of her hairstyle, but I still like it, and she's just completely beautiful overall. Anyways, I think she's gorgeous, but I just think the top two are more so.

2. Cinderella
I've always found Cinderella to be absolutely gorgeous! Similar to Belle, people call her plain, but I don't really think she is, and even if she is, I still find her gorgeous. Anyways, there are mostly two types of opinions on Cinderella's hair. Those who think it is gorgeous, and those who think it looks weird and plastic. I am part of the category that thinks it is gorgeous! I don't know how somebody can hate her hair, but there are people that do. I honestly think that Cinderella has the best hair of the Disney Princesses, and it has the best color to it. Anyways, I think Cinderella is absolutely gorgeous, but on Princess is more so.

1. Tiana
Tiana has been slipping from a lot of my lists lately, she's moved down a lot on my favorites list, her movie has moved down on my favorite Disney Princess movies list, and she no longer has my favorite singing voice. However, I don't know if she'll ever slip from this list, she's absolutely gorgeous! I love her hair, her eyes, and I like her nose now too. She has a great mouth, great lips, and amazing animation in her movie. In my opinion, she is one of the most beautiful animated characters ever!

Hello everyone! I'm Veronica (a.k.a. ApplesauceDoctr :D), and hey, it's been a little while since I've written an article. It feels good to get back into the spirit of writing. :D
So, what have I today? As you can see, I'll be analyzing the song "Reflection" from Disney's Mulan. I made a lyric video for it about a week ago and realized just how deep the song is! However, in this analysis, I'll also be taking a look at the extended version of the song. It shows a different side of Mulan that...well, you'll see soon enough.

Alright then! Let's take a listen to Reflection!

I want to make it clear- I LOVE THE MOVIE ALADDIN, I love every character in it- except Aladdin. And finally, i'll tell you why.
I didn't really organize this well because I couldn't figure this out.

Main issues- Aladdin's sexist/classicism assumptions, and Jasmine's hypocrisy

Scenario: Aladdin sees Jasmine in the marketplace, falls for her, brings her back to his poor-boy hut, and together they have a heart to heart about how they feel trapped by their situations. Although Jasmine doesn't explicitly state that she is a princess, she does hint that it's not an enjoyable life. "Oh sure,...

With the pending release of two “Snow White” revamps, boasting Kristin Stewart and Lily Collins in the leading roles – I began to wonder: look-wise, who could fill the shoes of the other 9 princesses? And after exhausting Google image, I’ve found my answer. These celebrity-princess doppelgangers share more than merely eye and hair colour; in fact, many are practically identical. Give their faces and features more than a quick glance and I promise you’ll agree.

Disney has enchanted us for decades with its beautiful, singing heroines.
Disney has enchanted us for decades with its beautiful, singing heroines.
As many of us know, Disney Princesses are not always viewed in a positive light. Some people believe them to be passive, codependent damsels in distress. But is this really true? Or does each Princess offer a kind of strength in her own way? Here, I have carefully ranked the princesses in terms of being good role models for young girls. We'll start at the bottom of the list so we can work our way towards, in my opinion, Disney Princess' best role model. I have spoken to plenty of parents to make sure that I have diverse research and opinions.

Once upon a time, there was a man who had a lovely and beautiful lady as his wife. They had one daughter only and her name was Cinderella, who was very dutiful to her parents. But while she was still very young, her mamma died, to the grief of her husband and daughter. After a time, the little girl’s papa married another lady. This lady was evil and haughty, and had two ugly grown-up daughters as disagreeable as herself; so the poor girl found everything at home changed for the worse.

But she bore all her troubles with patience and grace, not even complaining to her father, and, in spite...

Hi!
I'm a huge fan of Rick Riordan's books, and I thought this would be an interesting idea! First of all, let me explain you a bit: there are 20 cabins in Camp Half-Blood, each of them belongs to a god, and their demigod children live in their respective cabins. For example, Percy Jackson belongs in Cabin #3 because he's a son of Poseidon, and Annabeth Chase belongs to Cabin #6 since her mother is Athena. The 20 cabins are:
#1 – Zeus (king of the gods)
#2 – Hera (goddess of marriage and fidelity)
#3 – Poseidon (god of the sea)
#4 – Demeter (goddess of nature)
#5 – Ares (god of war)
#6 –...

Ranking the Disney princess eyes
Eyes are considered to be windows to the soul. Eyes are the most important facial feature. They beautify your face and are a beauty trademark to be admired if beautiful. I have aquamarine eyes which I spend time examining them and stare at many other people’s eyes. I decided to rank Disney princesses by their eyes. And it is unique that I prefer big, wide eyes than small, tiny ones.

15. Mulan’s eyes

I don’t think she’s pretty, and I don’t like her eyes also. They are the least beautiful of other Disney princess eyes. They are angled up, almost the V-shape....

Hi everyone, I just watched Andrew Lloyd Webber's Phantom of the Opera just now. While watching, I noticed some similarities with Beauty and the Beast! Here are my observations.

The Story-line

As you may know, both stories are set in France, it also has a sad theme in it as it deals with a deformed person name Erik who wishes to be love. Ironically, the author of The Phantom of the Opera is by Gaston Leroux, who happens to be the namesake villain of Disney's retelling of Beauty and the Beast. The rose also plays a symbolic role in both stories.
Secondly, the Stranger Than You Dream It scene...

I haven't done a ranking in a while, so here ya go. This article is dedicated to the amazing animators of Disney who gave us wonderful character designs and, sadly, unrealistic hair expectations! (*cries because my hair will never be as cool as DP hair*)

That being said, although every princess has beautiful hair, some manes are better than others. This is my opinion of their hairstyles, ranked worst to best.

12. Tiana

I find Tiana's hairstyles quite disappointing. As the first black princess, and being absolutely gorgeous at that, the animators could have done lots of cool things with letting...

So I really, really, really love the Disney Princess dance sequences, particularly with the waltz, as I find it to be so sweepingly romantic! The animation of the dance, the way the dress twirls with the women, the romantic and powerful score in the background, the gorgeous scenery in the background and the usually gorgeous dress worn by the princess... I love everything about these sequences! That's not to mention the show of romantic love developing. I am very much an old soul so I really love the process of "courting" which often included the man taking the woman out to dance or dancing...
