Hey everybody! This is my first article in a while, so I figured I better start with the classic list. Hope you guys enjoy it!

13. Rapunzel
previously 11
Ok, let me just get this off my chest right away. I find Rapunzel somewhat annoying. *dodges flying piano* I apologize to her legions of fans but that is my opinion. Despite this, don’t think that I dislike her. I actually find her really relatable, and I greatly admire her bravery in chasing her dreams. I guess what keeps her so low on my list is that I find her sickeningly sweet. It gets to the point where I just don’t enjoy watching her while she’s onscreen and I find myself distracted by other aspects of the movie. She’s a fabulous character but the other princesses entertain me more, so she’s always been stuck at the bottom of my list. Poor Punzie, she deserves better from me.

12. Snow White
previously 10
Oh Snow, how I wish I could put you higher. She’s such a wonderful girl but I just can’t bear to put anyone else lower. She does have a special place in my heart though, being the one who started it all. Without her, none of our beloved princesses would exist. I love her gentleness and naivety. In Rapunzel I find this trait annoying, but in Snow White I find it endearing. This is probably because it’s rounded out by her bossy side; she’s like a caring mother to the dwarves and it’s so sweet. The only criticism I can make about her is that she doesn’t chase her dream. She waits for it to come to her, and that’s what keeps her at the bottom of my list.

11. Jasmine
previously 7
My feelings towards Jaz have always been incredibly conflicting. There are many things I absolutely love about her, including her sexy, sultry attitude that is so unique among the princesses; and of course no one can talk about Jasmine without mentioning her assertiveness and strong sense of morals. It’s wonderful to see her speak up against Jafar, a truly terrifying character, and declare herself an individual who isn’t to be toyed with. However, there is one aspect of her character that gets on my nerves. At the beginning of the movie she’s a riveting character who takes matters into her own hands and escapes from the stifling life she lives in the palace, but once she returns to her father and throughout the rest of the movie the most she ever does is stand around and voice her disapproval. It’s a very disappointing turn of character, and honestly by the end of the movie her complaints become tiresome to me. I just wish she did more.

10. Anna
previously N/A
Anna’s a sweetheart, she really is. She’s also one of the few princesses who can make me laugh out loud. Her clumsy awkwardness and unbridled enthusiasm make her a joy to watch onscreen, and she’s overall just nice. But that’s precisely the flaw with her character. She’s just… nice. There’s nothing I dislike about her, but there’s nothing that makes me love her either. She doesn’t have anything that makes her stand out, and looking back on her movie she really didn’t make much of an impression on me. So, sadly, she stays fairly low on my list. Sorry Anna, I like you, but I don’t love you.

9. Cinderella
previously 8
Now we’re getting into the princesses I truly love. Cindy’s slowly been working her way up my list. There were many years when I really disliked her, and she spent that time at the very bottom of my list until Punzie stole that spot from her. Then I re-watched her movie and I realized she wasn’t so bad, so my opinion of her was neutral for a while. Lately though I’ve become incredibly fond of her. She’s so gentle and graceful, but has a bitter streak that adds depth to her character; and even though she’s the classic princess she isn’t perfect. At one point she criticizes Bruno for something that was actually Lucifer’s fault. I really love this about her, and I hope her elegance and kindness continue to move her higher on my list. I’d love to see her in my top 5 someday!

8. Ariel
previously 5
Oh, the horror! My once childhood favorite now no longer even in my top 5. Such a tragedy! Really though I do still love her, I’ve just grown to appreciate some of the other princesses more. My favorite thing about her is how passionate she is about everything. She’s an incredibly inspiring character, and honestly I think those who say she’s a bad role model don’t know what they’re talking about. That whole argument that she changed herself for a man? Complete hogwash in my opinion. She spent her entire life longing for adventure and dreaming of the human world, knowing that she didn’t belong in the ocean. The handsome prince was just the tipping point, the final nudge she needed to act on her desires. That was a daring move, chasing her almost impossible dream, but it paid off in the end. I will always love her for that.

7. Aurora
previously 6
Oh Aurora, everything about her is just beautiful. Beautiful personality, beautiful animation, beautiful hair… I could go on but I wouldn’t want to bore you. A lot of people say she has no personality, but I disagree. She may not get much screen time, but we do learn a bit about her in those 18 minutes. She’s shy, awkward, a dreamer, incredibly duty-bound, and afraid to ask for independence. I relate to many of these traits, and so I’ve always loved her. She’s also one of the princesses I grew up with, so I hold a lot of nostalgia for her. All of these keep her firmly rooted in the middle of my list.

6. Mulan
previously 4
I had a lot of difficulty placing Mulan in this list. Looking back on it I’m not sure why. I love her insecurities; I think they really make her character. Not to mention she’s kick-ass. I mean, she shows all of China that you shouldn’t judge someone’s abilities by their gender. Huzzah for feminism! Her bravery is something to look up to, and her intelligence is probably the highest of all the princesses. But seeing as she’s Fanpop’s number 1 princess right now, I think you probably already know how awesome she is, so let’s move on to… the elite Top Five!

5. Pocahontas
previously 9
Wow, big jump for Poca! Rather like that leap from the cliff she took in her movie, only this time she jumped up, not down. This is the first time she’s ever been this high on my list, and honestly I’m really liking it. I relate to her more than almost any other princess, which is what initially got me thinking about her, and her passion for the natural world really strikes a chord with me. I guess I’ve always loved her personality; it was just the historical inaccuracies that kept her so low on my list. But I’ve decided to put those aside for now and simply focus on her as a character rather than a historical figure. Her independence, desire for peace, and sense of duty are incredibly inspiring to me. I wish I could be more like her.

4. Elsa
previously N/A
Ever since I first watched her movie I’ve always wanted to give Elsa a big hug and tell her that everything will be ok. She’s so scared and distant, but at the same time so elegant and holds so much love within her, I just adore how layered her personality is. She tries so hard for so long, I think she really deserves the love and acceptance she finally receives at the end of her movie. She also has this sexy streak, not really in her attitude but more in the way she carries herself, that adds even more dimension to her character. As the oldest Disney Princess I think this is very appropriate, and it adds a little variety to the lineup. She’s a great new addition to the princesses, and I’m hoping she’ll stay in my top 5 for a while.

3. Merida
previously 3
Of all the princesses, Merida is the one I enjoy watching onscreen the most. Her feistiness is infectious, and everything about her just makes me smile. I love how defiant and impulsive she is, even if this does lead her to turn her mother into a bear, and her character development is the best of all the princesses in my opinion. The tearful scene where she apologizes, admits her mistakes, and expresses her love for her mother is to me the most moving scene Disney has ever done. I love her so much, and she’s been in my top 3 since the first time I saw her movie. I doubt she’ll be moving anytime soon.

2. Tiana
previously 2
Tia and Mer both vie for second place, and my opinion changes from day to day. Right now Tiana holds this spot because I just watched her movie. Her work ethic is such a breath of fresh air from the other princesses, and I think her character development is second best after Merida’s. To me her dream is the most beautiful and realistic of all the princesses, and her intense desire for it is wondrous not only because she’s so driven but because you can tell it really means something to her. It’s a way for her to remember her father, and perhaps the most grand profession of love in any of the princess movies. Like Merida, Tiana has been in my top 3 ever since her movie came out, and she even spent a short stint in the coveted number 1 spot. But right now that privilege goes to…

1. Belle
previously 1
Beautiful Belle. There are so many wonderful things I can say about her. I’ll try to keep it as short as possible. Her thirst for adventure, love of books and fairy tales, and desire for companionship make her the princess I relate to the most. Her bravery, compassion, intelligence, and ability to see deeper than the surface make her my biggest role model. Probably what keeps her at number 1, however, is that I associate her with my best friend. Her favorite fairy tale is Beauty and the Beast, and even though we now live in different states and don’t see each other nearly as often as we used to, when I think of Belle I think of her, and it helps me to bridge the distance. So Belle means a lot to me in more ways than one. Elegant, timeless, and an incredible character, she’s been my favorite for years and I don’t see that changing anytime soon.

Well, those are my opinions on the princesses. Tell me what you think in the comments! I'd love to hear what things people agree and disagree with!
Anna and Elsa are two of Disney's most passionate, determined, and independent leading ladies. Their time in Frozen and Frozen 2 has been full of action, adventure, and compassion. It's no wonder that their adventures have struck a chord with so many fans. Here is why we should find out why they are in the line of the next generation of Badass Female Characters!

1. Their Sisterly Love Always Saved The Day!

When Rapunzel heard the call from outside her tower, she assumed it was her mother, and her heart sank. Normally she'd be glad to see her, but after their argument, she was less eager.

Well, it wasn't really an argument. Those things kind of required two people arguing. It was more Mother lecturing and Rapunzel listening. But it was unpleasant enough for Rapunzel to feel bad about it even after her mother left.

When she went over to the tower window, she looked down—and gasped.

It definitely wasn't her mother. She didn't have too clear a view from her tower, but the figure at the bottom was...

Before we say goodbye to not just this year but also this decade, it's time I write an article that I wanted to write for a long time.
As a lot of you know, and for those who don't, Frozen is a movie/franchise that means a lot to me. Without it, I wouldn't even be on this site. It all started back in October of 2014,when I started to form a crush on the fictional character of Elsa. Originally, it was because I thought she was incredibly gorgeous, and I still think so, to this day. But, as the days went by and did more of my research, I realized how similar Elsa was to me and I began to relate...

1. How does it feel to be Fan of the Month?
I was Fan of the Month once a long time ago and while back then it was a bit of a shock this time, it's not that surprising :) I don't mean that in a self-centered way, comparing to how active I was in the past to now, I like to think I'm somewhat well-known for a ton of users here like KataraLover or sunnyfields. I'm honored to be the first Fan of the Month since it has been brought back.

2. Who is your favorite princess and why?
My favorite princess is Mulan because I used to relate to not being good enough for my family and wanted to do something...

Today's rewatch: The Little Mermaid: Ariel's Beginning
Last time watched: 2008

How much did I like this movie as a kid?

I didn't. Like, at all. In fact, after we see how Ariel's mom died that was it for me. Okay, so let me start from the beginning; If you've read my articles about TLM and TLM 2, you know that TLM is one of my most favorite movies and was a huge part of my childhood so when I was 15 years old I found out that there was going to be another movie of course I was excited!...

Snow White

Snow White is well known for her kindness and optimism — both of which act as her greatest strengths, as they've guided her safely through the various hardships faced throughout her life. She is quick to charm, winning the trust and admiration of the Prince, forest animals, and the Seven Dwarfs rather quickly, proving her kindness and pleasant aura makes her a beloved figure. Coined as the "Fairest One of All", Snow White's beauty lies both within her physical appearance and pure heart. With no negativity within her, Snow...

Here's the final article! I got to say, I'm kinda bummed that not a lot of people participated in this but it is what it is :)

Favorite Aladdin

O and R 1

Personally, I thought Mena did a great job for the most part, but Aladdin was changed from being a confident smooth talker to a socially awkward dork (and I mean dork in a nice way). The original Aladdin had a couple awkward moments where he stumbled over the right words or said the wrong thing but they barely happened. Remake Aladdin suddenly became incredibly awkward at the drop of the hat at one point in the movie. Some people probably...

Some people say he's forgettable but I think people automatically dismiss him just because he's not dramatic, theatrical and "hammy" like other Disney villains. I personally think he's pretty badass and ruthless.

Shan Yu is actually kind of similar to Mulan in that while everyone agrees that they both do remarkable things, some people think their personalities are on the boring side but I think it's unfair to dismiss any princess who isn't overtly dreamy, bubbly or feisty in some way (Mulan) and any villain who isn't over the top and in your face (Shan Yu) as boring. There are other ways to...

J-Pop Moment.
J-Pop Moment.
Hi guys, this list is something like the K-Pop list that I made previously. Only this time, it's their Japanese counterparts. Ready?

1) Moonlight Densetsu (DALI)

Taken from the popular Japanese anime, Sailor Moon. This song has always been part of my childhood and being a Die-Hard Sailor Moon fan, the princess will support them, especially on International Women's Day!

2) Shunken Sentimental (Scandal)

This is the first time that I'm listening to it, and while doing so, I notice that it sounds like some of Paramore's songs. In particularly, Misery Business.

3) Hitohira No Hanabira (Stereopony)
