After thinking much about this I decided to put up my own personal favorites of the House of Mouse. :) After all we're all big fans of Disney, and each of us have our own favorite movies of this company, so I wanted to see if any of you guys had similar lists or the like. :)

Keep in mind that my favorites are due to the fact that they are MY favorites, I liked them based on how much I enjoy it, and generally don't care about the public reception and critics. :)

So, without much further ado, here it is...

10- Princess and the Frog:
This movie is horribly underrated, it's sad that so many people are quick to say what a failure it is. I like it a lot. It's funny, it's charming, it's a new Disney film that still carries the good ol' Disney nostalgia of the past. Tiana's my favorite princess, the villain's awesome and in general it's a film that puts me in a very good mood. The animation is gorgeous and I happen to like the music (for once, it actually fits the setting of the movie!).

9- Wreck It Ralph:
A very interesting and original movie filled with a unique concept and lots of funny moments. While i do think the film doesn't have a solid ground when it starts, it manages to kick off well once Ralph lands in Sugar Rush. My big criticism of the movie would be the fact that they used the "villain in disguise" cliche, a trope that Disney currently likes to do that I don't get the appeal of. I personally think the movie would've worked much better without a villain, but all in all it's still a fun flick.

8- Fantasia 2000/Lilo and Stitch-
A tie! Definitely two of my faves from the new Era. I love F2000's artistry (i find it better than the original) and in Lilo and Stitch I love the sister's relationship and the use of Elvis music.

7- Sleeping Beauty/The Little Mermaid-
Another tie! Two of my favorites. I love both movies for almost the same reasons; the comedic characters, the villains, the gorgeous animation, the music, and the atmosphere composed of a good score and fantastic fitting animation.

6- Winnie the Pooh-
Enjoyable fun characters and I love the laid-back mood, where the story moves aside to let the characters shine through.

5- Beauty and the Beast-
Like Animat, it's the film that makes the best use of the "Disney formula". It tweaks the original fairy tale, making it similar but having a few differences of its own to make it stand out, and sometimes improving on the story. The animation, the music, the characters, the ending (which always makes me very emotional), the romance (which started my fetish of liking "beauty and the beast"-like couples in fiction)...It's perfect.

4- The Jungle Book-
Fun enjoyable characters and I love the animation with the backgrounds, I think it's the only film where the sketchy style works well to give the film the atmosphere of being in a jungle.

3- Emperor's New Groove- I love the fast paced comedy and the characters, and I like the setting being Incan Peru. It's rare to see in movies actual Latin culture represented, and not just Mexicans-standing-in-for-all-Latinos-syndrome that seems popular with movies.

2- Aladdin-
My favorite Disney film growing up, and I think it still holds on. It's funny, fast-paced, and enjoyable. I like films that don't take themselves too seriously. The characters are fun to watch (esp. Jafar, Iago and Genie).

Honorable Mentions:

-The Three Caballeros: I love the main characters
-Great Mouse Detective
-Alice in Wonderland: one of the best adaptations of the novel I think, because at least it showcases the intent of the book, to be nonsensical and strange. The other movie versions just turn out to be drawn out and boring.
-Tarzan
-Mickey and Friends: While I don't think any of their movies are extraordinary I do like a lot the characters and I always look forward whenever Disney does something with them.
-The Nightmare Before Christmas (of the Honorable Disney Films List comprised of this film, Enchanted, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Mary Poppins, Pirates of the Caribbean and others).

And my favorite Disney film of all time is...

1- Bambi
A perfect film. It's absolutely atmospheric, which I really enjoy on movies. You get sucked into the world quickly. I like how the film consists mostly of emotions than following a typical story. I like how it doesn't follow the typical cliches of coming of age movies, and it just presents things the way they are. Add to this fantastic animation and beautiful music...It's definitely Walt's best movie, no doubt.
