Disney Princess Article: Physically Beautiful Princess Ranking

Okay so some of you might have read link. At the time, it seemed to me like there was a group of very intolerant users who would only be offended if I wrote such an article. (Weird, I know, since many people write this article but I still didn't want the tension or drama.) Since I wasn't sure how to write a "physically beautiful" list without offending anyone, I didn't write that article and wrote one that I thought had better ideals: an overall attraction with looks, personality and demeanor combined. That being said, I do love the fairy tale versions of Princesses who were always the "most fairest maiden in all of the land" and I am a bit saddened/disappointed that Disney seems to somewhat be going away from that. A very talented writer/user on this site (anukriti2409) did their own link lately and it was done so beautifully that it inspired me to go ahead and give this article a try. So in honor of the traditionally gorgeous princesses, here is my physical ranking only, not including personalities and values etc.:

13. Mulan:
Best Physical Traits: Long beautiful black hair, pretty skin color and petite feminine body frame.

12. Tiana:
Best Physical Traits: Nice eyebrows, big gorgeous honey eyes, gorgeous smile and feminine body frame.

11. Merida:
Best Physical Traits: Beautifully long and naturally loose hair, nice eyebrows, gorgeous button nose, beautiful skin color.

10. Elsa:
Best Physical Traits: Beautiful naturally loose hair, nice eyebrows, big gorgeous eyes, gorgeous little button nose, pretty skin color and feminine body frame.

9. Rapunzel:
Best Physical Traits: Gorgeously long hair with the gorgeous "model flip" hairline (as I call it), nice eyebrows, big gorgeous eyes, gorgeous little button nose, beautiful skin color and petite feminine body frame.

8. Pocahontas:
Best Physical Traits: Gorgeous long dark hair free-flowing straight hair with the gorgeous "model flip" hairline, nice eyebrows and beautiful little nose.

7. Anna:
Best Physical Traits: Beautiful warm strawberry-blonde/ginger-copper type hair with the gorgeous "model flip" hairline, nice eyebrows, big gorgeous eyes, gorgeous little button nose, beautiful skin color and petite feminine body frame. Her freckles are also very endearing and beautiful. <3

Now we get to the truly gorgeous Princesses (not just beautiful, pretty or average) in my opinion:

6. Jasmine:
Best Physical Traits: Gorgeous long black hair, beautiful model face shape, gorgeous beautiful big almond-shaped brown eyes, gorgeous feminine lips, gorgeous smile and petite feminine body frame. (If only she was as gorgeous on the inside as she is on the outside but alas, they are opposites.)

5. Cinderella:
Best Physical Traits: Beautiful warm strawberry-blonde type hair (originally), beautiful model face shape, nice eyebrows, beautiful turquoise-blue eyes (originally), gorgeous little button nose, gorgeous feminine lips, stunning smiles, beautiful skin color and petite feminine body frame. She truly wears rags with grace and beauty that prevails. Even her scrunched face is gorgeous! <3 (Although her hair is shorter here, I think she'd be even more beautiful if her hair was longer.)

4. Snow White:
Best Physical Traits: Beautiful dark wavy/curly/natural hair, nice eyebrows, beautiful honey/brown eyes, gorgeous little button nose, gorgeous feminine lips, stunning smile, beautiful natural blush, beautiful skin color and petite feminine body frame. Gorgeous innocence...<3 (Although her hair is short here, I think she'd be stunningly gorgeous if her hair was longer.)

3. Aurora:
Best Physical Traits: Gorgeous long golden curly hair, beautiful model face shape, nice eyebrows, beautiful nose, gorgeous feminine lips, stunning and mesmerizing smiles, beautiful skin color and petite feminine body frame. A most graceful, elegant and gorgeous beauty... <3

2. Belle:
Best Physical Traits: Gorgeous brown wavy hair, beautiful model face shape, nice eyebrows, stunningly gorgeous big hazel eyes, gorgeous little button nose, gorgeous feminine lips, stunning and mesmerizing smiles, beautiful skin color and petite feminine body frame. It truly is no wonder her name means "beauty"...<3 (If only the animators had been consistent with her beauty/drawings! And also, if only her hair were a little longer, she might actually be my #1!)

1. Ariel:
Best Physical Traits: Gorgeous long and naturally loose hair with the gorgeous "model flip" hairline, beautiful model face shape, nice eyebrows, stunningly gorgeous huge eyes, gorgeous little button nose, gorgeous feminine lips, absolutely jaw-dropping, stunning and mesmerizing smiles, beautiful skin color and petite feminine body frame. So consistent with her drop-dead gorgeousness that even her unpleasant and uncomfortable faces are stunningly gorgeous. Really set the standard for me to have all DPs be so gorgeous as her gorgeousness brings about everything it should: a flood of optimism and serenity... <3 She proves to me why people still care about physical beauty... it is so calming and pleasing to the senses! :D (Every face she makes is so endearing and adorable, it tugs at my emotional strings! No wonder Sebastian couldn't deny helping her. <3)

Please note that I meant this with only positive intent and had no intentions of insulting or offending anybody. This isn't objectification, it's a compliment when I say that a gorgeous girl who smiles at you, can really brighten up your day for some reason. I certainly used to light up when the gorgeous princesses at the park would wave to me or sign my autograph book and smile at me and talk with me. :) This article was simply to celebrate that beauty that is so breathtaking and above average that it is inspiring and uplifting. <3

WinterSpirit809 Nice article! It's great to see Anna so high for once! The only one I completely disagree with is Snow White. She's pretty low on my list.

coolsinger198 I like how you didn't say anything negative! Although I believe that some people can be more attractive than others, different people find different facial shapes of features pretty or beautiful. Great article, and lovely collages!

MalloMar This is a great article. Sometimes people are intolerant, but they're crazy if this offends anyone. I don't think this is objectifying either, it's more so admiring beautiful character designs. My list would be very different, but I can see why you think this. I also think every DP is pretty in some way. Anyway, this is a sweet article and the pictures are perfect.

laylastepford Thank you everyone for mentioning that I only wrote positive traits. That was exactly what I wanted to do, not insult any traits that aren't my favorite. I'm glad you guys appreciated it! :D BIG THANKS to anukriti2409 linked in the article because her prettiest article helped me pick out traits to look for and frame my article. <3 coolsinger198: Definitely different people have different tastes and while there are some more universally admired traits, I don't believe in insulting other people for things they can't control/choose. I only wanted to compliment and admire the DPs who take my breath away, because I truly love the traditional fairy tale version of Princesses who are stunningly gorgeous. :) I'm glad you liked the collages! I tried to pick the pictures that the DPs look most beautiful to me for all of them. :D MalloMar: I am so glad you don't see it as objectifying because I never know what people are going to label anything when it comes to women nowadays. :) I just wanted to appreciate the "beautiful character designs" in the DPs that I love because as I said at the end, for some reason, a beautiful woman smiling usually makes me want to smile too. rosemina Our lists are practically the same with the exception that Ariel is a little lower and Belle a lot lower.

anukriti2409 First of all, thank you sooooo much for such high appreciation! I'm truly humbled :) I'm really glad that it not only inspired but also helped you frame your thoughts better. It's a nicely done article with detailing on facial features, though have slightly different ratings but many similars too :) I'm really happy that you did this article and were able to communicate better :D

laylastepford [b][u]jeangreyforever:[/b][/u] That's awesome that we have the same top 6! :D I think Anna and Pocahontas are beautiful by the way, I just think the top 6 are more gorgeous. :) I really heavily value more feminine traits which is why the more feminine-looking ones rate so much higher with me. Although I think Pocahontas is beautiful, she doesn't have the feminine body frame that I absolutely adore DPs to have which is why she isn't higher. So I suppose that might be the "edge to her looks" that you refer to that is a bit off-putting, at least for me personally. I do think she's beautiful though. <3 Yes, honestly I normally don't give Snow White her due credit for being gorgeous because her short hair is so unfeminine and off-putting for me. When I wrote down all of my favorite kinds of traits though and looked at multiple best photos of each DP, I found that aside from the short hair Snow White has most of the features that I do find to be most gorgeous. :D You are absolutely right when you say Snow White's hair "is the main thing that sets her back in the beauty department". So she finally got her due credit from me. I agree with you that there are a few shots where she doesn't look too nice but the same definitely can be said for every princess and I especially agree with you about "Belle especially". :) I did check out your polls, thank you for mentioning them! I agree with you that both look stunning with longer hair. <3 I agree with you, Snow White's hair is the most dated of all the DPs because in her time, women weren't supposed to have long hair because they weren't trying to be more attractive to men. That was seen as a very young girl thing and it was seen that women should have shorter hair. To me, the only good thing that came out of the 70s was the "natural" trend which changed women's hair styles from short to "long and natural". I am very fortunate that the "long and natural" hair trend hasn't really left since I agree with you that it is a standard of feminine beauty and for good reason. <3 :D To answer your question about Esmeralda, Anastasia, and Odette's placing for me: I would rank them as Anastasia being most gorgeous, then Odette (gorgeous) then Esmeralda (incredibly beautiful and borderline gorgeous). Esmeralda would place between Jasmine & Anna (6.5); Odette would place tie with Cinderella (5); and Anastasia would place tie with Aurora (3), especially if we are counting her with her longer hair which I am. :D [b][u]ApplesauceDoctr:[/b][/u] Thank you so much! AudreyFreak it's really nice to see Anna and Snow get some love for their beauty already! I think they're both stunning but don't get much credit (especially for traits people admire in other DPs- such as Anna's eyes being similar to Elsa's, their hourglass shapes, Snow having a button nose like Rapunzel, etc.).

Users That Remind Me of Disney Princesses

I got this idea from KataraLover after a long time of wondering what to write about. It was actually very easy to assign you all to these characters. I only have one, maybe two users for each princess so don’t feel bad if you’re not on here, we haven’t been very active lately on fanpop anyway. Anyway, on with the list!

Disney Princess Flower Alphabet Part 2

And, as promised, here is the second part of the alphabet.

Honestly, this was easily the most difficult of them all. For one, there weren't exactly many picture options in the style I wanted. Two, the sheer Size of Maui made it difficult to fit him and a plant into the picture. I am actually not happy with having him directly behind the letter, but when I tried to place him in the swirl it just didn't work out at all. I paired her with the "N" because one of the two plants which is particularly prominent in "Moana" is the coconut, and "Niu" is the Polynesian name for the coconut palm....

Usually I don't post articles here any longer, because I have my own blogs to take care of. But this is a little project I did specifically for this club: Entry letters you can use every time you write an article.

Now, I first wanted to sort Disney Princess characters on letters, but I soon realised that there are way too many characters whose name start with A, B or P. I would have been impossible to include even all Disney Princesses if I had done it this way. So in the end, I decided to do a plant based alphabet. I hope you like the result.

11. Charlotte's wedding dress
This dress is very....interesting. Like there's some parts of it that's pretty but it's kinda over the top and so so so pink Obviously this is a dress for Charlotte because almost every formal dress we see her wear is pink and over the top because that's her style. I'm always for people wearing what they want, whether it be cosplay (don't judge me, I'm a geek and proud :P ) or just wearing a different colored dress. This, however, doesn't exactly scream "wedding dress" to me. It actually reminds me of one of those cakes that has the doll in the middle of it....
