"The reprise is beautiful" (KataraLover)
"The reprise is beautiful" (KataraLover)

20. Part of Your World (Reprise)
This song is quick, simple, but very sweet. It shows you don't need to have a lot of metaphors and poetic devices to convey what you want. Ariel expresses her desire to become human so clearly and plainly in this song, just by the emotion and longing she conveys, and by just putting it into simple sentences.

"...the reprise is just unforgettable and beautiful." (TotallyMe105)

Hello, I'm PrueFever, a 32 years old guy from Denmark and a Major Disney Fan! My all-time favorite Disney Movie is The Little Mermaid, Walt Disney's 28th full-lenght animated classic from 1989. I just love all the characters in the movie, the songs, the score and the animation. I grew up with Mermaid, it was the first Disney Movie I saw, so there's definitely nostalgic reasons as well, I'm not gonna deny that! I can always watch the movie and my mood goes up 100%! It never fails to amaze me. Also, the voice actors in this movie is spetacular! Jodi Benson is great as Ariel and even greater as...

I was looking through my articles and realised I didn't have an article in which I examined Ariel in depth. I decided to amend that by writing about a subject it's fun to think about - Ariel's pink dress.

Most fans can agree (I think) that the dress looks quite bad on Ariel. There are several reasons for this: the sleeves are ridiculously puffy and makes her arms look misshapen and the shaping of the skirt looks... Odd. I just think it's too puffy and big in general.

Another popular reason for the dress looking odd is that a red hair/pink dress combo doesn't work:

However, I...

9. Evil Queen, Once again something related to Snow White is in last place, but for once that's a good thing.

8. Maleficent, as beautiful as she is on the outside, she is only a devil inside. I guess the reason why she didn't get eliminated first was because she was green.

7. Gaston, considered the most attractive male villain, but some consider him either too buff or too hairy.

6. Lady Tremaine, some find her to be quite lovely for her age, others see her as a mean, ugly hag.

5. Dr. Facilier, he's just considered to be a normal looking guy. Some say he's good looking, others don't.

4. Ursula,...

Sobbing, all three of the Bimbettes collapsed against each other in their home. Eliza (the red Bimbette), Ella (the yellow Bimbette) and Emily (the green Bimbette) had been crying for days over the death of Gaston. Belle had been nice enough to arrange for the baker to deliver food and drink, because none of them had the strength or motivation to go into town. If they had cried horribly when they thought Gaston was marrying another girl, they absolutely sobbed, depressed, when he died. They had been crying for two weeks now, and Eliza was starting to...

Tangled is my favorite Disney movie for many reasons besides the wonderful storyline and beautiful imagery. I really relate to Rapunzel in so many ways. I try to be optimistic and see the beauty in the small things in life. I try to stay hopeful and occupy my time with many hobbies. I have so many interests and love learning about them and learning about the world and other cultures. We also share physical features, brown hair and green eyes, and prefer walking outside barefoot. I also have some German heritage, so I relate to her that way as well.

My mother also acts a lot like Mother Gothel....

Voted over a month ago, the results are in. Keep reading to find out what holiday each princess represents. I had fun do this and was thinking it would be fun to redo this with princes, and maybe villains. Comment down below and let me know what you think about that idea.

Mother’s Day is an easy choice for Snow White as she is so motherly. She takes care of the dwarfs. She cooks. She cleans. I know that sounds cliché. But beyond those traits, she cares about people the way a mother would. Unconditionally. But she still has her limits much like a mother would. She bonds with her dwarf...

Anastasia!
Anastasia!
Hi guys, I noticed some similarities with both Pocahontas and another Historical Princess, Anastasia. So, here are my comparisons on both heroines.

Pocahontas

This was the very first historical cartoon that I watched, I did not know about her real-life story after reading about her in Times Magazine a few months after watching the film in Singapore.
It wasn't until that I read more about her as time goes by that I finally understood her real-life more, she died sadly on her way back to Virginia.
Disney fictionalised her story, by making her fall in love with John Smith. Aside from saving him...

My opinion about prettiest princess list are changed in times, so I want to share my most prettiest Disney Princess list in this article :)

11. Tiana

I didn't mean to say she's ugly, I just think Tiana is the most plain/average in terms of beauty department. She has nice eyes and those eyes are shining in some moments, but most of her other body features are plain and nothing special. Her hair is way too simple with some curls, she got too big nose and thick lip. Her skin was exotic enough as an African-American princess. Her dimples are fine, but at least it makes her...

I'm always interested in Disney Princesses' wardrobes and thought that there is hardly any prominence given to their jewelry department. Well, what's a princess without some jewels (and tiaras, which i'll be doing in another article). So I crafted this article to imagine their signature jewels and a glimpse into their collection.

Snow White: Pearl
Pearls are linked with innocence and helps to see life through the eyes of compassion. It is also known for its purity. Snow White being the most innocent and fairest of all makes a perfect fit with pearls. Pearls are also often seen in the light of...

I know this is a touchy topic, so I've tried to tread it in the best way I could! It is not my intention to offend anyone or misrepresent this topic, so if I did I'd love to improve on it and fix my mistakes. I hope you enjoy reading!

For a group of people that claim to be supporting of all women and their ventures, the mistreatment that the classic princesses very often get from them is rather surprising. To a majority of feminists, the women they are catering to is the new-age, I can do it all superwoman. They believe that all women should fit into that box and if they don't, they're deprived,...

Vincent Van Gogh's Japonaiserie After Hiroshige (1887)
Vincent Van Gogh's Japonaiserie After Hiroshige (1887)
I love art! I love culture, history, music and I love art. I have done some posts and polls about the Disney Princesses in reference to music, culture and fashion but not art yet so I thought I would do that next. I like to think of the Disney Princesses as "cultured" young women who have manners, etiquette, decent universal knowledge and appreciation for the arts. So, in my theory of the Disney Princesses being cultured, albeit each at their own levels, here are the paintings that I think each Disney Princess would love the most. (I could probably find a Van Gogh for each of them as I absolutely...

This was the solo Jasmine was originally going to sing in Aladdin. It is included in the Broadway adaptation <3.

"Call Me A Princess" is a song intended to be sung by Princess Jasmine in Aladdin. In her early development she was supposed to be a typical, spoiled, bratty princess, and this song focused in on that. The developers scrapped the idea along with this song to make Jasmine the headstrong, compassionate woman we know today. If this song wasn't deleted it would have been the first solo song sung by Jasmine, but now that title belongs to the song I've Got My Eyes on You.

The song was...

Anna:
Elsa?
(Knocking: Knock, knock, knock, knock, knock, knock)
Do you wanna build a snowman?
Come on lets go and play
I never see you anymore
Come out the door
It's like you've gone away-
We used to be best buddies
And now we're not
I wish you would tell me why!-
Do you wanna build a snowman?
It doesn't have to be a snowman.

Elsa:
Go away, Anna

Anna:
Okay, bye...

(Knocking)
Do you wanna build a snowman?
Or ride our bikes around the halls
I think some company is overdue
I've started talking to
the pictures on the walls-

It gets a little lonely
All these empty rooms,

Well, the title is pretty self explanatory so... here I go.

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
Hmm, this is a tough one since I like all of the characters in this film but my two favorites are Snow White herself and the Evil Queen Grimhilde. I love them for completely different reasons. I love Snow's look and cheerful personality (she's in my top 5 princesses) and I love Grimhilde because she's so cruel and I love her look as well but because it's so dark, regal, and imposing. She is downright creepy as an old hag. I love the scenes with both Snow and Grimhilde but then again I love this film so......

So this is pretty popular in the polls by asking which of your unpopular opinions would you agree with most. I decided if make an article instead because it seems more unique and stuff, so here you go, I hope you enjoy hating it :) Or maybe even agreeing with it.

I think Rapunzel is more attractive than Elsa
To me I don't actually think Elsa is a gorgeous as everyone says. She has a very mature look but Rapunzel looks girlish and playful, I'd prefer that kind of look over Mature and Sexy any day. You see, Elsa looks like a model, Rapunzel looks like that everyday beauty just with a brighter...

Since I'm a fan of the Harry Potter book series, I've decided to do a series of articles interpreting Disney characters into the Hogwarts Houses. I'll be doing all the princesses and princes, and maybe some side characters and villains. This article'll just be the Renaissance Princesses, since the descriptions are going to be pretty lengthy and I doubt you guys could handle reading another of my super long articles. If you don't like Harry Potter you might be a bit confused, but if you have basic knowledge of the houses you'll be fine. Oh, and all of this is just my opinion.

Also, just for reference,...

This is my first article here and I hope you like it. I'm getting tired people calling Disney (Especially Disney Princess) sexist. So I decided to write an article about why I think the Princes don't really save the princesses.

Sorry for no pictures!

1.Snow White
The Prince in Snow White doesn't really do anything. He just sings a serenade and disappears till the end of the movie.
He didn't fight the Evil Queen. He didn't really do anything.
Snow White should thank the dwarfs for saving her life not the Prince. If the dwarfs buried her, the Prince would never find her and kiss her.
So all he did...

Well, I've already done an article about the faces of the Disney princesses, so now I suppose I'll go ahead and list my opinions about the prettiest disney hair. Let's begin!

11. Snow White
Oh, Snow. I hate how you're at the bottom of all lists ever, but with that boring little bob that looks like a gob of paint you just don't deserve much higher. Many condolences.
