Hello Merida.
Hello Merida.
Since I had watched both movies, here are my thoughts on both movies since they're both Celtic and centres around motherly love.

Quest for Camelot

I started watching this film back in 2007, and I was quite amazed that the song 'The Prayer' because I did not know that this song was originally from this movie! The story-line was just like our typical Disney Princess movie but overall, I feel bad for Garrett and I'm glad that the movie shows more sympathy for him.
The songs reminded of the Lion King where we have an antagonist having their own theme song and a song for the main character as sung by the supporting character and all so on. But, one of the songs that I absolutely dislike is the Prayer because it's overplay and I'm glad that Frozen's Let it Go managed to topple it!
Overall, I think that this movie is one of the underrated movies that I had ever seen.

Brave

Okay, I watched this 3 years ago and my first impressions was that it reminded me of Quest for Camelot due to the fact that they have similar Celtic culture (Quest for Camelot being set in Ireland, while Brave is set in Scotland).
Despite that it only has one song in it, I really love the music as it is a great introduction to Scottish music and I love their accent too along with their Irish counterparts!
I love the interaction with Merida and the other characters, especially with her mother. In other words, motherly love.

Change Your Fate

So, do you agree with my thoughts on these 2 Celtic movies?
Arthur, where are you?

Hey guys! Team Jasmine is BACK! Last time we did an article about ourselves and why we love Princess Jasmine. But this time, we are ready to share our opinions of ALL the Disney Princesses, including the new ones, Anna and Elsa.

In the article, we combined each team member's opinions on each DP and wrote our overall opinion.

First we want to start with our opinion on each DP era.

Classic- The Classic girls were obedient, kind, and good natured. They were seen as good-willed and kindhearted, while having...

Elsa, is my favorite DP currently and I thought of showing my opinions about her.

We first meet Elsa when she is sleeping and Anna wakes her because "the sky is awake" and they have to play.
She first hesitates and tells her to play by herself but when her sister asks her to build a snowman she can't resist.
This part shows Elsa's personality before being isolated. We can see that she is the elder sister and tends to act more mature and calm, but she enjoys being with her sister and shows her playful side.
And we can also see that she isn't afraid of her powers and likes to use them.
"Shshshsh!!! Anna, can't you stay calm for a minute?"
"Shshshsh!!!...

A poll was recently made about who was the most selfish DP, and I was shocked and annoyed at what people were saying about Elsa (and Merida... But I guess I may have to make that article later) being selfish.

I know this point is already being debated on the poll, so some may find it a bit repetitive to read this, but I wanted to make a really detailed examination about Elsa and her 'selfishness'.

One argument I read was: "in the beginning part when she forbids Anna to marry him, it's just because she doesn't want to see Anna have fun with others while she is alone in her own sadness...."....

If most of you like me have grown up with The Little Mermaid and have followed the movies and TV shows, I think you realize when it comes to the story of the rebellious redhead from under the sea, it's not completely there.

Now I didn't see The Little Mermaid in theaters, but a lot of you did. It after all was the highest grossing animated film at that time. And of course, you all loved it. So when you found out that Disney was making an animated series about the movie, you of course were very excited. I myself grew up watching the series on VHS's and one of the VHS's I owned was "In Harmony."...

Lately my obsession for Pocahontas is growing, and although I've already made a "Why I Love" article for her, I just really wanted to write something else for her. The article will be a scene-by-scene review, so I'll start from the beginning and talk about every scene she's in till the end, so this article might get pretty lengthy. Anyways, I hope you enjoy :)

We first see Pocahontas up on a cliff thinking. I love how Pocahontas thinks things through and isn't at all impulsive. We then see her dive off the cliff, as opposed to going down the safer way. This shows Pocahontas's adventurous side...
