What makes for a remarkable Disney Princess dress, the princess herself, of course, and while the Disney Princesses are renowned for their exemplary qualities that showcase the most empyreal aspects of the human spirit, it is the artful assemblage of accessories and garments which assist in emanating those qualities that make for the noblest of ensembles. This is what I believe are the most beautiful Disney Princess dresses. Which ones are yours?

10. Snow White's Primary Colors Dress:
A pure joy in essence, Snow White's lovely dress charms with its bold, fun colors, puff sleeves, high white collar and fetching red head bow. A confectionary delight indeed, the entire attire of the 1st Disney Princess will forever be a sweet memory.

9. Rapunzel's Purple Dirndl Outfit:
Each of the Disney Princesses have a signature feature on her outfit and Rapunzel has rightfully claimed the alluring lace up bodice as her own. Though technically her peasant dress, this beautiful melody of frills, lavender and lilac fabrics are just as endearing as any Disney Princess dress can be especially as it is imbued with darling details that leave the maiden wit the fantastically long golden locks looking oh so cute and chic.

8. Briar Rose's Peasant Girl Outfit:
When we are introduced to this princess, she is supposed to be in hiding under the guise of a humble woodland maiden but the innocently prim and courtly details of her earthy toned dress cannot help but highlight Briar Rose's royal status. With the pop of white from the neck collar folds, the sensuality of the black corset, the neat pleates of her danity skirt, the sleek black head band and that romantic berry wine shawl, her regal beauty is absolutely radiant.

7. Ariel's Ocean Sparkle Dress:
Though her seagreen fishtail and amethyst  seashell bra against her scarlet hair have captured our hearts and her blush dinner gown is as precious as a rose pearl, it's the simple glamour of Ariel's aquatic silver beach dress, shimmering splendidly with the iridescence of the summer seas, that had us applauding as the little mermaid arose out of the waters to become part of the world she had always dreamed of.

6. Tiana's Bayou Lily Ballgown:
As Tiana blossomed from her frog form back into her human form, the mint green layered ballgown she returned in glittered and shined on such an opulent floral design, it was as if she was wearing a waterlily glistening with a glory of morning dew in the wake of the spring dawn. It's just a shame the gown was shown for only a brief moment.

5. Jasmine's Seafoam Blue Harem Outfit:
Simple in design but simply sublime in color, Jasmine's main outfit proves that the right tint is everything. Tonally ethereal, the seafoam blue that makeup the billowy harem pants and fitted crop top perfectly compliments her ebony mane and caramel skin. Expertly accessoried with statement gold jewelry and a prominent sapphire gem head piece, this princess is too enchanting and cool to be just anyone's prize.

4. Aurora's Royal Court Dress (Blue):
Edgy but yet still refined with an architectural flare, everything between the golden, gem studded tiara, matching choker necklace, the shoulder exposing bodice with sharp collar decals, and wide, flowing skirt that drapes exquisitely over her statuesque frame, is all elegantly fit for the graceful princess Aurora, especially in blue. Pink is pretty and playful but blue is better suited to elevate further an anything but slumberous visage.

3. Cinderella's Silver Ballgown:
The very definition of a big, beautiful, princess gown, Cinderella's ballgown is a favorite anywhere. Classic in design, timeless in execution, this piece easily stands out with its silverly, powder blue tones that magically twinkle and sparkle like how the midnight stars appear to the captivated eyes wishing to know what they were. Ingeniously accented with a simple black ribbon choker that gives it just the right amount of weight, this gown is a homerun in any ballroom.

2. Elsa's Snow Queen Dress:
The moment Elsa liberated herself and conjured up this blissfully stylish dress, we were sold. The way it hugs her body, the sophisticated length of the skirt's side slit, the extravagancy of the sheer cape, that beautiful hue of bright polar blue, and how it all furiously glimmers and gleams like winter ice crystals against a raging fire, this dress is simply a stunner that only dreams are made of.

1. Belle's Golden Ballgown:
A grand entrance for a grand dress, we were in awe as soon as Belle stepped out onto the grand staircase to greet the Beast in this luscious, golden number. Glowing magnificently against the beauty's chocolatey tresses and rosy complexion, this deliciously ostentatious gown hangs delicately off the shoulders with profound textures and accents, twisting and turning like fine butter that melts into the soul with every graceful whim of movement. It is always a shame whenever this gown is portrayed in unflattering shades of lame yellows instead of gorgeous tones of warm golds which is why the Emma Watson Belle dress was such a disappointment. Yes, all that is gold is not always glittering but in regards to the original animated version, it is both.

Snow White & the 7 Dwarfs
My favorite scene is when Snow White wakes up. Wishing wells and magic apples always work.
''And that he will carry me away to his castle where we will live happily ever after.''
Snow looked so happy wishing on that apple and she got what she wished for. She woke up to her one true love who carried her to his castle where they lived happily ever after.
This scene is so sweet <3

Cinderella
My favorite scene is when the glass slipper fit Cinderella's foot. Even though it was predictable, I...

Okay this took quite a while. I got lost in different chinese zodiac -meanings websites some time ago and I started worder what characters princesses would be. I personally don't believe horoscopes.
This goes quite backwards as we don't know which year princesses are born. Anyway these are the results. There was no dragon or pig so put their descriptions at the end in case someone's interest.

Tiana-Rat
The Rat is hardworking, industrious and shrewd. People born in the year of the Rat are also charming and have magnetic personalities. It's said that finding a poor Rat is rare, since they are good in business.

This is just my opinion. I don't mean to offend anyone with it, and I'm more than open to thoughts, comments, and suggestions.

1. Minnie Mouse: She does portray a princess, queen, duchess, lady, pretty much everything from time-to-time, but she's also like the Queen of ALL things Disney, so I don't think she needs to be a Disney Princess. And the Mickey stories aren't consistent with each other like DP ones. Each movie/TV series/special has its own plot, setting, and character development, so it'd be hard to place who exactly Minnie is. There's really no strict canon, and she already gets enough...

I'm just a mere newbie here, but having read several articles on here, I really wanted to write one of my own (hope it looks ok, and I haven't made a mess of it!)

Good thing this is sit on my ass day (otherwise known as Sunday), otherwise I wouldn't have had all day to write this up.

I hope I've explained my rankings well enough.

10) Aurora

What is there to say about Aurora? I figure she must be the least fav of a lot of people, but not because she's incredibly unlikable. I feel harsh saying that she's boring, but she is just your stereotypical fairy tale princess. She's pretty, has a pretty voice,...

First off, here is the order, analysis right bellow the list.

3 - Mulan and Shang

4 - Phillip and Aurora

5 - Jasmine and Aladdin

6 - Cinderella and Charming

7 - Belle and Beast

8 - Naveen and Tiana

9 - Snow White and the Prince

10 - Pocahontas and John Smith

Pocahontas and John Smith

Probably Disney's most angsty couple, seeing as the build up of their relationship starts with one of them pointing a loaded gun at the other intending to shoot without a second thought and being interrupted by nothing other than the overwhelming mindblowing attractiveness. And that's...

Belle/Beast
Gaston’s Curse
After Bell and Beast have an argument, Bell leaves the castle to take a walk. She comes across a shattered body dressed in Gaston’s clothes. Soon she hears a growl and a beast comes out to attack her. Beast comes from nowhere to protect her. The beast continues to come back. They soon learn the beast is Gaston as he was transformed into a beast as he fell. Unlike Beast, he has no redemption and the only option is to kill him.

Aurora/Phillip
Mother’s Day
Aurora keeps telling Phillip she wants a baby. He continues to refuse her plead. On Mother’s day, Aurora notices...

This was by far the easiest to do and I bet you can guess who #1 is. Don't expect to see Lucy Liu because she's too old.

5.Ashley Argota
I don't really think she can play Mulan, I just put her hear because I needed someone to fill the #5 spot. She doesn't look all that Asian and I don't think she'd look good with short hair.

4.Kristin Kreuk
Well she's only half Asian but I think could be a subplot for the movie. Kristin certainly has the acting ability to play a strong and vulnerable character. I liked Smalleville, it was a pretty cool show.

3.Breanda Song
The longest running, most...

Snow White.
Snow White.

She's my number 10 Because I really don't like this hair, Her hairstyle remembers me when My mom cut my hair in my first time.. It doesn't matter.

Number 9.
Pocahonta's

Pocahontas.
Pocahontas.

I don't hate her hair, It's wonderful, I really love it, but it's too straight hair, I'll like more if it is more wavy, but it's still beautiful.

Number 8.
Jasmine's

Jasmine with hair down.

20. Cinderella - low ponytail

I honestly dislike this hair style a lot. It looks so plastic. Actually none of Cinderella's hair styles is particularly nice. I can't believe this made it to the top 20.

I like her bun better :) - callejahLUVSed
