Here are my top ten favorite Princess songs.

10. "Honor to Us All"
Wait and see, when we're through, boys will gladly go to war for you...
Wait and see, when we're through, boys will gladly go to war for you...

I like this song so much because I adore this scene where Mulan is getting ready to meet the matchmaker. I like watching her get dolled up!

9. "So This is Love"
My heart has wings, Mmmm, and I can fly...
My heart has wings, Mmmm, and I can fly...

I love this song because it reminds me of when you first fall in love with someone. Everything seems brighter and sweeter. You literally feel all lit up inside. This song pretty much sums all of that up.

8. "A Whole New World"
A thrilling chase, a wondrous place...
A thrilling chase, a wondrous place...

This one used to be much higher on my list, but I dunno...the older I get the cheesier it sounds to me! I still find it romantic though.

7. "I Wonder"
I wonder if my heart keeps singing, will my song go winging to someone, who'll find me, and bring back a love song to me.
I wonder if my heart keeps singing, will my song go winging to someone, who'll find me, and bring back a love song to me.

I really like this song right now. I feel that it represents how I feel in my life right now...just waiting to see where I'm going, and when I'll find my true love...I know one thing...it won't as easy for me as it was for Briar Rose!

6. "With a Smile and a Song"
With a smile and a song, life is just a bright sunny day, your cares fade away, and your heart is young.
With a smile and a song, life is just a bright sunny day, your cares fade away, and your heart is young.

This might come as a surprise, but this is my favorite song from Snow White. It just makes me feel happy and cheerful and always brings a smile to my face. I adore all of the sweet animals that approach Snow White...they are precious!

5. "Something There"
But there's something in him that I simply didn't see
But there's something in him that I simply didn't see

This is my favorite song from Beauty and the Beast. They are just figuring out that they are falling for each other, and are both nervous about it. I love it when Belle goes behind the tree and nervously plays with her nails...I do that when I am nervous too, so it makes me feel a bit connected with her.

4. "Just Around the Riverbend"
Or do you still wait for me Dreamgiver? Just around the riverbend...
Or do you still wait for me Dreamgiver? Just around the riverbend...

This is another one that reminds me of where I am. Just waiting to see what lies ahead for me. Her voice soothes me and I often listen to her and it really helps me relax!

3. " Part of That World Reprise"
I don't know when, I don't know how, but I know something starting right now...
I don't know when, I don't know how, but I know something starting right now...

Yes, I do like the reprise BETTER than the full song. It just seems more dramatic when she sings it second time around. She is so damn determined, and I love that about her. She is so determined is fascinates me.

2. "Once Upon a Dream"
And I know it's true that visions are seldom all they seem...
And I know it's true that visions are seldom all they seem...

I don't understand how anyone could not like this song. It is so poetic and lovely. If a romantic sucker like myself hears something like this, it's over. We're hooked. I find myself humming the melody to this one all the time. I love it.

1. "A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes"
No matter how your heart is grieving...if you keep on believing, the dream that you wish will come true.
No matter how your heart is grieving...if you keep on believing, the dream that you wish will come true.

Those of you who know me well will find it no surprise as to who sings my favorite song...yep; Cinderella...my all time favorite. I have loved her for as long as I can remember. Hers was the first movie I ever saw, and to this very day remains my favorite- Disney or non Disney. Cinderella enchants me with her "sweetness". I know a lot of people don't like her because they think she's a pushover, but she reminds me of myself. I avoid confrontation, kinda like she does. Anyways, this song inspires me...here, we have a girl with nothing...NOTHING. She's basically a slave, with nothing good in her life but precious memories of her Father and her little animal friends. She has nothing, yet she still remains ever so sweet and positive and focuses on her dreams and that someday, God willing, they will come true.

On the eighth day of Princess Walt Disney gave to me

Eight mice a-sewing

seven dwarves dancing
six sisters singing
five cursed friend

four braiding girls
three fairy spells
two lucky pals
and the wisdom of an old tree.

I guess I have to apologize...I did my best to create pages featuring the princesses as the sole centre of attraction, but with Jasmine that is a little bit difficult because she is usually featured with Aladdin, rarely alone. I could have either found or created a picture of Jasmine if I really wanted to, but I really liked this one and it just seemed to fit her the best. So I made...

On the Third Day of Princess Walt Disney gave to me,

Three fairy spells,
Two lucky pals,
and the wisdom of an old tree.

Another day, another page for the calendar. And unlike the last one, this one was kind of a headache for me. Remember a while back when I asked you which princess fits which months? Most of you felt that Merida belongs into autumn because of her red hair. Thing is: I already had three princesses for autumn. In addition, I don't think that Brave is actually set in fall, I think it is either spring or summer during the movie. So I hope that you are not too disappointed that I ended...

On the Second Day of Princess Walt Disney gave to me,
Two Lucky pals,
and the Wisdom of an old Tree

So as promised the second day of goodies with a new page for the calendar. I will, btw, upload all the calendar pages separately in the image section of the spot once my 12 days of princesses are done, and all of them have been revealed. I am pondering if I should also create a version which has all pages on one big sheet. If there is any interest in this, please comment. Also, if someone wants a different seize for the wallpapers then the three I am already offering, I am open for request. Speaking...

It's typical of sequels to come out about 2 or 3 years after the first film. Sometimes, sequels come out the year after the first one. However, Frozen 2 has come out 6 years after the first film. That's something it has in common with Alice Through the Looking Glass, which came out 6 years after the first film. Of course, the big the question is if the wait was worth it. In this review, I will discuss how the two films compare to each other, as well as give my feelings on the premise and cast of characters.

Frozen 2 brings back the cast of the first film (excluding Prince Hans and the Duke...

Wow, ok. It's been five years (oh lordy) since I last wrote one of these, and with a new princess officially in the lineup I think it's high time I revisited my list. Let's do this.

12. Rapunzel

Uuuuuuuuuuuuugh Rapunzellllllllllllllllllll I really wish I liked her more than I do. The funny thing is that I actually think she's a great character and she's also one of my most relatable DPs, but despite this she just doesn't do it for me. There are two primary reasons for this. Firstly, she is not a particularly believable character for me. Seriously, no one would be that socially well-rounded after...

Out of the entire princess lineup, only three of them were the biggest part of my childhood. Cinderella was sorta part of my childhood but mainly the Brandi Norwood version because I preferred that one over the animated version. And I’m not counting Rapunzel because her movie came out when I was almost an adult.

3. Mulan

A lot of you might know that Mulan is my favorite princess and she’s been number 1 on my list for years. I was 5 years old when I watched her movie on tape and I remember being so in love with her and the movie immediately. Mulan was one of the biggest feminist icons in my...

This is a movie I'm really not looking forward to watching. I don't mind watching sequels because I used to love them so much when I was a kid but Mulan is one of my all-time favorite movies ever and this sequel is like on a Maleficent level of ruining original characters.

Tonight's rewatch: Mulan 2
Last time watched: 2005-2006

How much did I like this movie as a kid?
I saw the commercial for this movie when I was 11 and I was excited because, again, Mulan is one of my all-time favorite movies. I didn't actually watch the movie until I was 13 or 14 because I was starting middle school when this...

I'm really looking forward to watching this one. Mulan was one of my favorite movies growing up!

Tonight's rewatch: Mulan
Last time watched: 2015

How much did I like this movie as a kid?
I loved this movie when I was a kid! Mulan, both the movie and the character, was actually one of the reasons I became a feminist and why I love badass women (kinda why I don't 100% blame the revival era for people hating princesses who find love or aren't "kickass"). I used to sing the songs all the time when I was a kid and I loved any merch I could get (which wasn't a lot). I still have my stuffed Cri-Kee that...

Hello everyone! This is the first of many articles soon to come and I hope you enjoy reading this just as much as I did writing it :)

For each article I will write about;

1. How much I enjoyed/disliked the movie as a child

2. How much I have forgotten

3. Princess (will she be higher on my list or lower?)

4. Movie (will the movie be higher on my list or lower?)

5. Rating

6. How much has my opinion changed?

7. Would I watch it again?

Tonight's rewatch: Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
Last time watched: 2001 (seriously, how can I consider myself a Disney Princess fan if I waited THIS LONG to watch this...

This review was originally posted months ago but I deleted it because......I was gonna use it for a school assignment and I didn't wanna leave this up so my lecturer could search and accuse me of plagiarism. lmao

Anyway, I ended up not using it and I decided to put it back up.

So right off the bat, I have to say that this movie is very.....average. It honestly feels like a tv episode padded out with songs to make it feature length. Moana is a likable enough character, I can almost pinpoint exact moments where she's like previous Disney female protagonists like Ariel, Pocahontas, Mulan and Rapunzel...
