KateKicksAss About your points... 1. Agree. I mean, seriously, all it does is wreck perfectly good banners. 2. Agreed. It made quiz taking quicker and simpler. 3. Not quite sure what you're talking about...... 4. Still not really sure what you're talking about, but I will agree that this layout is way too gray. 5. I agree. The larger new spot icon seems somewhat pointless and does look a little weird. 6. I disagree. I liked the old profile layout, where everything was just displayed. I had a bunch of fun quotes on mine, and I miss them, *sniff sniff*. I think that stuff should come back and just be visible to everyone like it was before. BRING BACK THE OLD PROFILE LAYOUT! 7. Disagree. I hate the idea of the "Myspace like customization" you mentioned, but I also hate the idea of a profile banner. I mean, firstly, what if you didn't have a banner/couldn't make one....there'd just be a big gaping spot where the banner would go. And second, that would really be confusing. I mean, I like that there's a big difference between how spots look and how profiles look. I also agree that the text on Spot banners needs to go. The ALL CAPS-NESS of makes my inner Grammar Nazi cringe. And it obscures the banners. Same for people's usernames in all caps. Basically, long story short, I MISS THE OLD LAYOUT. *cries* 7.

Cinders Thanks for this, germs, and for being reasonable. I'm at a very volatile point right now, so being reasonable isn't my strong point at this point in time. I can normally see the benefits of the changes the F4 makes, and I'm fully aware that eventually the outrage will dissipate and people will live with it. As I said somewhere else, I know people ALWAYS freak out at first over changes and the hype dies down and they get used to it. And I know the F4 expect the same to be true of this, so they probably won't change much, if anything at all. But even for me, this is too much change for one update, and it bothers me. The layout I can get used to, but I agree with (many) other fans around here (and even you, germs) - PLEASE make the banners go back to the way they were. The banners at the very least. Leave all else, fine, I'll get used to it. As I mentioned, I'm going through a very unstable time in my life. I'm uprooting and moving to a new country that I know nothing about, with inconsistent internet access. I was looking forward to turning to Fanpop for solace and familiarity but now it'll be different, too. Different isn't bad, it's just come at a bad time for me, but that's just me, personally. I think that's one reason I'm very much against this change. I took it as a personal insult because I'm just a headcase right now. But thanks for being the Voice of Reason germs, especially when my reason is flying out the window. :)

icuSTALKER I agree with missanthrope and I love the article. One of my main concerns was the caps lock. My friends have this thing called the 'caps lock disease'. This is when you see someone abusing caps lock and you suddenly catch it in your anger to tell them to quit. And when you go on Meebo or wall chat, you use it just as much as they did, either out of anger or hyperactiveness. When I made my username, I specifically wanted three letters to be lowercase and seven to be caps. I use caps for emphasizing when I don't have italics. So therefore I was upset when the unique differences weren't established. Then they fixed it and I was like, 'BIg yes. With a fist in the air.' The banner and club mottos. I honestly like them. The Random club? One glance at it and you know people post anything on there. But you want to know more about it and the club name should say pretty much everything. However I do like to read about it. And know about it. Example: Beriwan's club. People would scan over the club, right? But the point is, you don't know exactly what the club is for. How does someone know that Beriwan is a girl on this website and not an actress? Not only that, but it's a chance to know more. I respect the F4 and I think they have great ideas. I know they won't change the layout back just because one person doesn't like it. However, I am a person who greatly dislikes change. My mom turned my bed once, just because it fit better, and I threw a hissy fit. It took a month for me to cool off and stop being mad at her for that little incident. Dramatic? A bit. But I've never liked change. After moving five homes and three schools, maybe I'd be used to it, but really I want to sit back and not worry about any surprise changes that would come up. Fanpop caught me completely off guard and my poor father had to listen to me rant about the new look and how it looked like Facebook when I'm not even allowed to have Facebook. I agree this reminds me of Facebook. Users say, 'I signed up for Fanpop, not Facebook.' I actually thought this was Facebook when I logged in. Maybe I'm not observant enough to realize it was Fanpop but the baby blue was just a bit too much. I do think the change was too sudden. Of course, me being me, I would tear my hair out seeing the tiniest change but it takes me about a day to get over it. This big change is a lot. It's been, what, going to be a week? And I'm still not used to it, nor am I liking it. I think the change should have been warned in an evident manner or that the changes would have been a small thing each day so I wouldn't completely flip over the couch. I'm not saying change it just for me, but how many people went into a rage over this? This was huge. A bit too much in too little of time, maybe. So I first logged in, fell out of my chair, dropped my iPod on the floor, and thought, 'Now they've done it. I'm leaving.' People love modern stuff and I get that. But I can barely keep up with today's music, honestly. I'm over in the corner back with Bon Jovi and Michael Jackson in the 80's and 90's. I don't listen to Ke$ha, Chris Brown, or Eminem. I listen to very little One Direction. In fact, I didn't know who Rihanna was until someone told me yesterday. Haha I know it sounds funny :P But people have never heard of Selena Quintanilla Perez and my mouth just drops. All in all, I'm not a modern person. I suppose some things I could get used to, but not the blue. I loved the green, though my favorite color is blue. And the green seems more friendlier. A poll was added: Polls or Pick? Me: PICKS :D I thought polls were votes but maybe they aren't. Not sure. On polls, it says make your pick! Pick. It'd be weird so see a 'Make your poll!' And polls reminds me of politics :P The way things are faded in black agrees with some banner but not all. With the Loneliness club it may agree, but does it agree with happy go lucky My Little Pony? It's like gothish. I'm fine with goth but for some clubs it doesn't look right. Like an evil shadow, as germany said, ready to take over innocence. I believe I'm done. :P Some changes are fine with me, but others throw me in a rage, I'm sorry. But good job, as I know the F4 worked hard.

Sato_Sumire It's a bit hard for those who use IPod ( Like me ) to send messages or edit our profile, but the new one looks good. We just need some more time to get use to it ^_^

KingSimba4Ever9 I agree, but there is alot more I hate too, the banners look awfull, just look at this one, http://www.fanpop.com/spots/lion-king-fathers-and-mothers The only one I think looks remotly good is this one, http://www.fanpop.com/spots/the-lion-king Well the other things I hate are the imiges that discribe evrything, like the messagess one makes me always think that I have a message beacause I got so used to the other one, (I loved the other you got a message thingy) And at the profile when I log in and on the information bar like, photos, clubs, wall, prifile, there is no why to go to messages from that bar, And then to load pictures you have to go to your photos and click on it there. and if you want to add somone you have to go to there profile page, And when I tryed to give someone that had no props some props I couldn't beacause there was no props option. (And it was with sevral new users too) Evrything blue, white and grey is geting me very bord of this place. And evrything big and bold makes evrything look childish. And I liked it when the name of the club was above the icon and not on the banner. And the club mottos are gone. And the club keyword serch is gone. I wish fanpop just left it alone as it was, I want the old fanpop back.

Fitch List of things that need to be on F4 top list to do (there are other minor stuff, but I can deal with it): 1. Get rid of the black fade in the banners 2. Make the Fanpop layout green (Although I like blue, Fanpop is suppose to be green) 3. Bring back he individual spot search bar 4. Make all the modules to be the same colour. Why are the ones on the left grey? Also I would like a banner on our profile page. Been wanting one since forever. Fanpop is about 'what we are a fan of' and what better way to let people know than having a banner that we can show all the things we are a fan of.
