For the next two weeks, Ashley was stuck in the cell. She definitely wasn't feeling well and she had a feeling there was something wrong with her. She started thinking of what happened after she and Michael made love.
"Okay...I wasn't feeling well the following morning...I was stuck in the bathroom last week...oh my God..." she muttered to herself.
It hit her like a ton of bricks. She...was pregnant.
"Oh God...how is he gonna react?"
"How is who gonna react?" Someone asked.
She about jumped when she heard the voice. She turned to see Michael in the connecting doorway. She got nervous real fast.
"Michael! U-Uh...w-w-well..."
"Well what?"
She sighed. "There's something I gotta tell you, Michael. Come sit down."
Michael raised his eyebrow and sat down next to Ashley. Ashley took a deep breath and let it out. She was still nervous about telling him.
"Look...when we...you know..."
"Yeah? What's the problem, Aikaterina?"
She was shocked when he called her by her captain name. So she decided to do the same for him.
"Eo...I'm...well..."
"What?"
She looked at him, blushing a bit. Then she looked down at her feet.
"I'm pregnant." She whispered.
"W-What did y-you say?"
Ashley looked at him and saw that he was blushing, too.
"Michael, I'm pregnant."
Michael was shocked to hear that. He and Ashley didn't date, but they kissed and made love...and now they have to raise a child together.
"How did you find out?" He asked.
"The symptoms I've been getting."
"Like?"
"Morning sickness, cravings, and loads of headaches and fevers."
Michael hugged her and held her close. She was shocked, but hugged him back.
"I can't believe it. I'm gonna be a dad."
"You...you aren't mad?"
"Why would I be mad? This is the most exciting thing that's ever happened to me. Well, to us. I'll help you out, since it's our child."
Ashley smiled. She was glad he was gonna help out. She now gets to not only be away from dancing for her sister, but she gets to raise a child with Michael, her Captain EO.
