Rarity's (and Sweetie Belle's) older brother. He does wear jewelry around his ankles!

OK, let's jump into the story! If you haven't read already, Blue Bolt is Ponyville's newest resident, and he has a girlfriend, Applejack. Everything is going well for him, until Rarity finds something undiscovered while cleaning her room. What is this mysterious document? Let's find out!

AJ: Oh, this the funnest apple bucking contest Ah ever had! Ya sure know how to please a girl!

Pinkie: I never knew he was so cool, even when competing!

Rarity: I'm gonna go take bath now. I'm so terribly filthy! Not to mention I need to get my room straight.

Bolt: Allow me to help you.

Rarity: Your'e very sweet, but I'll do fine. *blushes and runs home*

Pinkie: Anyone just see that? What was that about?

AJ: Where's Rainbow Dash? She seemed to have run off after the contest.

Bolt: And where the hay is Fluttershy!?

Pinkie: She didn't want to join us.

Rainbow: *flies at Bolt screaming* AHHHHHHH!!

Bolt: Eh....? *WHAM!*

Rainbow: I'm gonna kick the buck outta you!! Losing to a egghead.....You probably cheated!!

Bolt: Hey, Rainbow, chill! I played fair.

Rainbow: Oh....I'm so sorry....

Bolt: Um, do you mind letting me go? It looks kinda awkward!

Rainbow: Oh, right, my bad.

Spike: *walking by* I didn't need to see that.

Bolt: It wasn't what it looked like!

Meanwhile, Rarity is busy getting clean and cleaning her room Sweetie Belle is watching as she darts around in a frenzy.

Sweetie: What's the rush, Big SIs?

Rarity: I have a tea break with Bolt, since he hasn't had the chance to get to know me more, and, well, I kinda blushed and took off when he asked to help me.

Sweetie: *eyes widening* Uh huh, go on.

Rarity: Not sure why I denied his help, I feel so rude! *sees a piece of paper* What in the world is this?

Rarity reads the paper, her eyes getting bigger as she reads. She is absolutely dumbfounded about what she has read.

Rarity: No way....it can't be! I thought he was just a new resident! I thought he wasn't related to us!

Sweetie: Watcha got there?

Rarity: I don't know how to put this, but Sweetie, Blue Bolt is your older brother, and mine as well. I don't believe this!!

Sweetie watches Rarity as she she faints, and she goes to find Bolt to wake her up.

Bolt: Rarity! Oh, sweet diamonds, what happened?

Sweetie: She fainted when she learned from a unread piece of paper that your'e our older brother...Hey, Rarity says that too sometimes!

Bolt: No freakin' way!! What should we do?

Rarity: Tell Princess Celestia, of course! These kinds of things interest her.

Later, in Celestia's castle.....(shortly after the tea break)

Celestai: Well, if it isn't Carousel Boutique's newest employee! How goes it for you?

Bolt: Quite well, your Highness. Rarity and I are great working together.

Rarity: *slaps Bolt* Hey! Quit stalling and tell her!

Bolt: Hey, watch the eyewear! They're very fashionable!

Rarity: Yes, your'e my brother all right!

Celestia: Um, anyone care to tell me what's going on? *starts sipping hot lemon tea*

Rarity: Bolt...Well, he's me and Sweetie Belle's older brother.

Celestia:*spits hot tea at Bolt* Crikey, this tea tastes like....

Rarity: I think you watch that movie too much...

Celestia: Sorry about that. Just got surprised. Brother, you say? I never knew. His cutie mark, is that right or wrong?

Rarity: Correct. He's become the fastest unicorn.

Celestia: Ok, enjoy the rest of your day! *whispering to herself* (This is great! The whole town deserves to know!)

Royal Guard: What? I thought you said something.

Celestia: Nothing here!

Rarity: Well, now that I found out, I feel bad letting you have your own house. Why don't you share the same house with us? I'll tell AJ she can visit from now on. I'll take care of getting your stuff out of your house and into ours. I'll need lots of help from many unicorns. (runs off to seek help)

Bolt: I don't know about AJ visiting! Sheesh, this place is confusing! Where's my bed?

Sweetie: First one next to Rarity's and mine! They already moved yours here. Don't worry about sleep clothes. We already took care of that!

Bolt: Thanks! *climbs in bed*

Rarity: Ok, guys, careful with his art materials and drawings! He likes his stuff intact! Don't you DARE drop his portrait of him and AJ together!

Bolt: This is taking too long! *uses magic to automatically place his things*

Rarity: And we're...Whoa. Bolt, how'd you do this?

Bolt: Twilight. She's been really helpful!

As night approaches, the three get ready for bed. Luna pays a visit to see how they are getting together.

Luna: How goes the family reunion? PRETTY WELL I SEE!

Bolt: Sweet apples! Why do you do that?

Luna: I enjoy having my voice heard! Sleep well!

It appears that Rarity has realized Bolt is her brother. Sweetie Belle had no idea, either, but now she will at some point ask him how he got his cutie mark. Hopefully he won't be too bothered by her asking so many questions!

NocturnalMirage Good, good! Let the friendship flow through you! :) You seem to be developing your writing skills. Good use of the 'deus ex machina" method, but the story would have been even better if you haven't had revealed the base of the primary plot line in the title and at the very beginning. Besides that, my impressions are quite positive about this chapter nevertheless. Thumbs up for Luna's cameo at the end. I wonder what happens next.

Dragon-88 I shoulda written "The Mysterious Note" as the title instead. As everyone knows, anything that is deemed mysterious or unknown is bound to stir up curiosity. Should I stop writing fanfics about Bolt? I was thinking of writing one about Princess Luna where she goes missing for a few days, and (Chose to include Bolt in it anyway) only Princess Celestia and Blue Bolt are capable of finding her. Why is Bolt able to help the princess? She wants to test his abilities, of course. Is Bolt gonna become her next student? Sorry for this being long, but I always wanted to write a fanfic about my OC going on an adventure with Princess Celestia to find her missing sister.

NocturnalMirage Sounds like an awesome idea! I think you could successfully connect this concept with your existing story arch in the next chapters.
