As they were galloping through no light came down,even the glow of the stars and the moon could not be seen...it became darker....and more dangerous
the unicorns of the group lit their horns, a faint glow showing the way...the trees in the forest seemed evil and treacherous in the dark,but they kept going
"a-are we there yet" Moonlight said,trembling "the forest is starting to get to me" as she said that a distant howl came over them
"Apparently,not yet" Spectrum reponded,avoiding the long roots that covered parts of the path
Moonshine spoke "...D-do you think they're still alive?"
Flame snapped "Yes! of course they are! were still alive right now,are we?!"
the others were speechless,now they were all nervous "........"
they walked and walked till they reached the center of the forest,the evil looking trees surrounding them..somehow they could hear laughing..
"Gah!" Cosmic gasped turning behind him "w-what is it?!" he turned around to see that his tail got caught off in one of the branches of the smaller trees "...." (B|) his ears flopped down and he grumbled something..the others laughed at him and their laughs seem to echo through the forest
when they heard the echoes they stopped,wide eyed "whoa..i didnt know that forests could do that?" Spectrum whispered
Winter replied "well..this IS the Everfree Forest..and Cosmic said that this place was mysterious"
"yeah yeah..but the children didnt listen..so we HAVE to get them!" Flame said walking but he tripped on one of the tree roots "im okay.." he rubbed his head..but when he looked up he saw a face make of twigs and sticks,looking at him with its glowing eyes "uh-oh.."
"RUN!" Spectrum shouted..and away they ran,the Timberwolves catching up
more and more of the monsters came,which forced them to make a harsh decision,splitting up in this dangerous place..they needed to cut the numbers
"there!" Spectrum pointed to a bridge..Cosmic,Moonlight and him managed to outrun the creatures for now,but they were now facing an unstable looking bridge
"er..how are we going to cross there? it doesnt look like it can hold all of us.." Cosmic observed,just as he said that,the ropes at the other end
"well..i could use my magic" Moonlight said,her horn glowing with magic..levitating the ropes and tying it at the other end,then she used a spell again,and with a flash,the bridge turned solid and invincible
"Excellent!" Spectrum exclaimed
she giggled "you sound like the professor!"
They heard howling going towards them..so they scurried to the bridge,once at the other end end,the bridge returned to normal,and the Timberwolves fell in the cliff
"..that's that..i cant fix the bridge it its not there in the first place" she sighed "lets go find another way to regroup..i dont think thats the only way"
"yeah.." the stallions agreed
so what happened with the others?
