This is a story about Andi who has lived in Tennessee her whole life. Her boyfriend how ever moved here from from the UK, with his three best mates, about 6 months ago. Her best friend Liam Payne, is also English, who moved here when he was 13. When they all start Senior year of high school together, new relationships start to form and some fall apart.

*A/N- This football is American football.

I tucked myself into my sweater as the wind blew through the air. It was getting cooler at night now that September had hit and this year it was unusually cold. I sat up on the hard, metal bleachers to watch my 4 bestfriends and my boyfriend practice football. It was hard to keep up with them all except for Liam. He was quarter back. The others I had to watch for their numbers on the backs of their jersies. Harry- my boyfriend of 5 months- was 15. Louis was 17, Niall was 13, Zayn was 14 and Liam-my bestfriend since 8th grade- was 16. Watching them play and practice football, and school were pretty much my life. But here recently, life has been a little hectic since the boys had been discovered by Modest Management. They had been told they were going to be the biggest thing since Backstreet Boys if they wanted to get that far.
Liam is estatic. All he has ever wanted to do is sing...or build airplanes. If this whole singing this doesn't work out, he's heading over to a factory. Harry's pretty stoked too. But if he doesn't go on with the band then he want's to work in a bakery for a while while he goes to college to do God knows what. That boy stays confused. My poor baby.
"Andi!" I look up from my English homework and down to the feild where Harry is waving me over. I put down my books and my pincel and jog down the stairs. "What?" I ask.
"How am I doing?" He asks, smiling so his deep dimples show.
"Um, good I guess." I shrug.
"You guess?" His smile fades.
"Babe, you know watching you pratice isn't the most fun thing to me."
I hear him sigh. "Well why don't you leave?"
"Because as much as I would rather be all warm and cozy in my room while I do my home work, you need my support here."
His smile comes back to a shy one and he looks up at me. "You know I love you, yeah?"
"Yeah." I smile.
He leans in for a quick kiss before the coach calls him back onto the field.
My eyes scan the players as I look for Liam. He's down on the end getting a drink of water from one of those green bottles they all squirt eachother with at the games. Once he's done I notice a somber look on his face before he shruggs his helmet back over his sweaty head. I squint my eyes at him when he looks over at me. His face flashes from sad to happy in 1.5 seconds. He knows I'm on to him. He smiles and nodds at me before he goes back to the feild. I see Louis smiling at me. I just roll my eyes and laugh when he winks at me. Cheeky little thing. Prissy too. I don't take him seriously only because I know he's gay. Yep. He's gay. And I'm the only one that knows. That's because I'm good a keeping secrets.
After practice I kiss Harry goodbye because his grandparents are in from the UK so he has to go to dinner. I tell the boys bye but stop Liam.
"What's wrong with you?" I ask.
"What?" His eye brows furrow but his eyes show worry.
"I know something is wrong with you. I know you. i saw that look on your face earlier before you forced a smile."
"Nothing." He shakes his head. "Have a test in Chem tomorrow. Guess I'm kind of worried about that."
I give him my best 'that's bullshit' look. "Right."
He shruggs and runs his hand through his buzz cut hair.
"I don't believe you." I tell him. "But I will let it go...for now."
He nodds.
"I have to get home. English essay due tomorrow." I roll my eyes and he laughs. He knows how much I hate that woman. I stand up on my tippy toes anadnd kiss his jaw line because that's all I can reach when he doesn't bend down. "Love you."
"Love you, too."
I jump into my car and turn on my heat before looking over at Liam who his still standing where I left him looking up at the sky. My heart breaks. I will fish it out of him. Maybe not today, but soon.
