{Thanks goes to Grace for unintentionally reminding me to post this X{D}

I’m sure everyone has heard, or even made, the complaint that our club used to be so much better and that because of recent times it’s not active and nothing gets done. So, I decided to go back and look over what the club was like in its hay-day and discovered that in the long-run nothing has actually changed.

Three and so on years back, the club was actually in chaos.
~Roleplays would rarely get anywhere,
~Stories were almost never read,
~Projects (usually games and comics) were started and stopped INCREDIBLY abruptly,
~Forums would last a few dozen pages before fading away,
~And people were coming and going constantly.

Some would point out things like Art-Requests, contests, the amount of pictures posted every so often, the dozens of videos each day, and the comment section, but those were actually not as amazing as one would think.
~Art-Requests haven’t changed since the beginning of the club. This includes art-trades as well. People still them and the same general percent of members still answer them.
~Contests have definitely changed but even then the last set of contests that had mileage was by PhoenixRoyale and that was 2+ years ago.
~The picture section had genuine art-yes, and a good amount of it, but it also had constant floods of
>Random pictures with no relevance
>Bases
>Recolors
>Repeated pictures/Art not drawn by the person posting it
>And random snips of things in the club that weren’t drawings at all.
The amount of actual genuine art posted regularly has changed, yes, but not by a large extreme. Nowadays the number varies from once a week to three a day. Before it was usually one a day to five a day.
~Videos were rarely productive, and still aren’t 99% of the time. As always they’re constantly “theme” songs that hold no actual value as almost none of the people sharing them made the songs.
~The comment section was a good source of updates and activity, but also had
>Constant arguments
>Random departure and return comments
>Completely unrelated posts
>and simple random talks about random users for whatever reason.

To say that one evil was traded for another I feel is unfair on both sides.
~On the side in favor of the old club, it did have a lot of activity regardless, and many people still had a great amount of fun.
~On the side of the current club, no one wanted other people to leave, or asked people to leave, and there still is activity in areas of the club that can hold up with that of the past content.

I’m telling you all this so that you understand the main reason for the lack of activity, and the resolution I hope we will all take part in.

The club in both time-periods simply hasn’t had very much actual progress concerning the content and universes its users want to pursue. This has been due to
~Constant fluctuations in the rules of the community
~Users growing up and being forced to leave the club/losing interest in the franchise
~People having to leave due to not being able to even access the site/glitches
~and a lack of outside draw to the main public.

I suggest that the members of this club do what they can to reach out to people you think would be interested in our community, and to make sure they are fully aware of what type of community we are to avoid misunderstandings and accusations of dishonesty.

As most of you know, we have a facebook group now so if you know people on FB you can reach out to them there as well.

My other suggestion however is that those who truly wish to be dedicated to this club, do what you can to help keep it running well. I’m not asking that you come up with stories, or constant roleplays, or draw pictures all the time; simply that interaction with what is there is made, and dedication to what you have started is pursued.
~Reading articles and providing feedback
~Entering into discussions
~Becoming involved in Contests and Requests and Art-trades
~Answering a poll or starting your own
~Spreading guides or ideas you’ve found around the web

These are all some of many examples of how to put simple efforts into improving the club. For me this is the main priority as while we can have as many members as we want, it’s pointless if there is no floor to stand on.

I myself have just today reached out to more than ten facebook users to look into our facebook and fanpop community and I hope others will follow with this idea.

The recovery period has passed. It’s time to get back to making the club strong and involved. I thank everyone that has done so thus far, and I offer my condolences to those who have been trying but unable to as much as they would like to due to unavoidable restraints and delays.

Please leave your thoughts in the comments.

God Bless,
Eat Pie and Prosper

Imma start right away, so here goes. And don't be sad or anything if your character isn't in the list. No hate, please? Thanks.

5. Espona (Tooootie)
I found Espona rather.... interesting. I also like her character design. Simple but unique (Does that make sense? XD).

4. Kyle (mephiles97)
I remember the old RP with this guy. He's not half bad :). I'm interested in his abilities. That funny hair style up front catches my attention a lot.

3. Rynk (TakTheFox)
Of course. Need I say more?

2. Soda (MephilesTheDark)
Boss. God. Club Elder. Same explanation with Rynk.

1. Aqua the Echidna (CyberEchidna)
Don't...

On this club, one of the biggest things people try to do is get noticed. We all want to show our stories, our art, our ideas, etc. Most of the time, people will pay the most attention to the art, or the roleplays. It is not very often that people will read other people’s fanfictions.

So why is this? Here’s a list of reasons why people don’t read them, and reasons why people can get upset.
1.    Laziness. I think this is the largest. Now this branches off into a few other categories, but laziness is the big generalization of the bunch. People can either have problems...
