Everyone on this club hasn't necessarily played through Sonic Heroes completely, but that's fine.
I didn't either.
Though there are those who played through the game, and they liked it. To them, I say "good for you". Honestly, I think that I just didn't give the game the chance it deserved, per-say, but I might get back to that game later.
But one thing I have noticed throughout the entire Sonic series is that there's only one species that can go super form: Hedgehogs. Seriously, why can't Tails and Knuckles go supper form as well? To add icing to the cake, in the game Silver debuted, he had a super form design. The same goes for Shadow. So what's the deal with Sonic, Silver, Shadow, Mecha Sonic, Metal Sonic, and one or two other hedgehog characters being the only ones being able to harness the powers of the Seven Chaos Emeralds (even though the first game established that there were only six... what, too soon?) to engage a super form.
Now, remember when I mentioned Sonic Heroes in the beginning of this? Well, if you want to play through Sonic Heroes, go ahead and skip the next paragraph, because there are some big spoilers in there.
So, near the end of Sonic Heroes, Sonic uses the Seven Chaos Emeralds to engage Super form. Also, it was established in Sonic X (tell me if there's earlier evidence) that the Seven Chaos Emeralds would scatter whenever used. Oh, wait, this kind of goes against Sonic 2's use of Super Sonic, but Sonic 2 isn't the main attraction here. Anyways, when Sonic goes super, Tails and Knuckles are enveloped in his... awesomeness with none of than... flame shields. Why flame shields? We might as well not have given them a Flame Shi- Oh, wait, that's right, it's their Super Form because the Tails and Knuckles Super forms are supposed Non-Canon for some reason. Way to go SEGA, you tripped up on yourself for the umpteenth time. If Tails and Knuckles Super Forms are non-canon, then why the hell is Crisis City is Sonic Generations? I thought all of the events in that game were stuck in an infinite time loop thanks to Silver.
Anyways, welcome back for those who skipped.
But seriously, I don't care if those Super Forms aren't cannon. I'd rather have them in some non-canon Super form than use a Flame Shield as a lame excuse for a Super form.
But I'm really wondering people: what do you guys think? At this point in the Sonic Franchise, it's no spoiler that Sonic becomes Super Sonic at or near the end of the game. So here's my question:
Are you okay with the Super Forms provided in Sonic Heroes, or would you have rather seen an actual Super forms, regardless of whether or not it was canon?
And as a closing statement, Flame Shields are not Super Forms, just as Thongs cannot possibly be armor.

I'm sure every person in this fanclub agrees. here r some reasons why Sonic is better than Mario:
1.Plot: Look at Mario's games, always the same plot bowser kidnapped Peach Mario goes
to save her. Mario succeeds brings her back to the mushroom Kingdom. Then again she get's kidnapped like seriously? Very creative plot Nintendo. Sonic: Not always the same like sometimes he meets himself in the past. Sometimes he has to save the world from Dr.Eggman and sometimes he unites with wisps.
2.Villain: Bowser I can;t really count as a villain because after 34 years He would have thought some else scheme Sonic: Dr.Eggman builds robots and machines to take down Sonic.
3.Music: Mario has the same music, while Sonic has lots of different music. Want proof? Play Sonic Generation if you go to the very left there will be a room. There should be a trumpet or something go in front of it select it a list of music will come. [you have to unlock the music first]
