-----------1 hour later, the rest of the group came inside and they were greeted by the scent of chocolate chip cookies and cologne coming from Marissa and David
Savannah: hi mom, hi dad
Marissa: hi, sweetie but where is your sister?
Savannah: she should be upstairs she came in an hour ago why do you ask? (Little concerned)
Marissa: okay, I will go check. She probably came inside while we ran a few errands while all of you were outside (heads up the stairs)
Marissa’s p.o.v
It was awfully quiet as I headed up the stairs. I hope everything is alright with her. I get to the top of the steps and head towards her door. When I got there it was way too quiet for my liking, so I knocked but there was no reply. I opened the door cautiously; but the mess before me was devastating. There was broken glass everywhere, a red substance on the wall reading “you have been warned” which made me shiver and my daughter on the floor in a pile of blood that was coming from her back yet she was almost still but her chest was moving up and down slightly. I heard David ask “Marissa is everything alright?” it brought me back into reality. I said No! In reply to his question
David: why is that? (Grabs a phone and runs up the stairs)
----Everyone follows him and heads up stairs
Marissa: please just come up here with a phone, fast
David: (gets to the room and looks at the sight) I am going to call 911 (dials the phone number and puts his arm around Marissa)
Savannah: mom, what is going on?
Operator: (on the other line) hello, what is your emergency?
David: my daughter is hurt, the windows and mirrors in her room are shatter, there is a red substance on the wall that reads “you have been warned” and she is laying on the floor in a pile of her own blood but she is still breathing and we live at 316 sunset drive in Outer city
Operator: okay, we are sending an ambulance, detectives and police to your house. Just make sure she stays breathing and stay on the line
David: will do; let me tell my one of my sons something real quick
Operator: go ahead
David: Aaron, please go open the door for when the ambulance get here (Aaron runs down the stairs and opens the door but waits by it)
----Everyone else is in shock, and tears; but Savannah is taking it the worst because this would be the third time she has seen her sister in a state that could lead to death
Brandon: (walks over to his sis and comforts her) shhh, sis everything is going to be alright
Savannah: (between sobs) how do you know?
Aaron: everyone make room the ambulance just arrived
----- Everyone steps to a side of the hallway so the EMTs can get by and take Flora to the hospital. They get past everyone and put Flora on a stretcher and head out but a cop comes up with one of the EMTs that stayed behind to tell them the news.
EMT: I am guessing you two are the parents (Marissa and David nod) she will be fine and recover quickly; but we will have to put some stiches in and keep her overnight due to the amount of blood she has lost
Marissa: thank you so much
EMT: you’re welcome and my friend Garrett here needs to ask you a few questions
Savannah: (look up) Garrett!?
Garrett: yes, Savannah
EMT: you two know each other?
Garrett: actually I know practically all of them quite well minus my girlfriend’s parents (Savannah blushes at his remark)
David: it is a pleasure to meet you Garrett
Garrett: the pleasure is mine
Marissa: quite a gentleman you are
Garrett: Thank you
EMT: what questions do you need to ask?
Garrett: just simple procedure questions. Do any of you know exactly when this happened?
Helia: no, all we know is she came up here an hour before the rest of came back from relaxing on the beach or finishing errands
Garrett: okay, did anything seem out of the ordinary before she came inside?
Savannah: no, the only thing that happened before she came upstairs was she received a phone call from Anna to check out what people wrote on her Flutter
Garrett: okay, but do any of you know what people have written on her flutter; because it may lead us to find out who did this even though I have a pretty good idea who did.
Tecna: no, but I can log onto mine and see what people have written. (Gets out her computer and logs into flutter)
Garrett: thank you
Tecna: (her eyes go wide as she sees what is written on one of her best friend’s Flutter page) let’s just say people are cruel
Savannah: (walking over to Tecna) what do you mean?
Tecna: The root of this is obviously jealousy but she has practically been called every name possible
Stella: like what?
Tecna: (I am not going to be using the cuss words out right, I am going to only put the first letter and the last letter but asterisks will represent the other letters ) B***H, S**T, W***E, also others have used phrases but all of these words can hurt.
Riven: I honestly can’t believe people would do such a thing
Garrett: did anyone mention anything about harming her?
Tecna: so far no; wait there is a new one that says you have been warned but the name is anonymous
Garrett: thanks, we will keep an eye on this user and track down Eric who has been imposing as Chad
Helia: thank you, again Garrett
Garrett: no problem Helia, and Savannah I will see you later (kisses her hand which makes her blush) and it has been a pleasure seeing everyone again (He descends down the staircase)
EMT: and we will call when you can come and pick her up
Marissa: thank you
EMT: you’re welcome (follows Garrett out the door to his car)
David: I say let’s order pizza for dinner and then call it a night
---Everyone nods their head and heads down the staircase in complete silence. Even when the pizza arrives very little is said until everyone says goodnight and heads to their rooms to take a shower or bath and then go to bed, speaking it has been a rough day
