"He feeds on fear he feeds on pain he rules again with growing hate he will guide their faith again."

Valtor was a man of no morals, created for the sole purpose of spreading fear, hate, and death. He had taken much from the people of Sparks, freedom at the top of the list. As the length of his rule dragged on his fury and hate grew stronger--a small flame on a candle to a roaring fire at a Celtic celebration. The more hate he oozed the more pain and fear he elicited from the people he ruled. And he drove on those emotions, fed on them, sucked them up like some precious nectar. He had, by all means, been removed from power long ago, but vowed to take vengeance. One day he would do it...he would take the crown again.

"No light in the darkness is too small to see.
There's always a sparkle of hope if you just believe."

And of course, with the aid of three young--and by his standards, naive--witches the man found freedom. The three women didn't stop there, they had helped Valtor take the entire realm of Magix over. His rule was firm and practically unbreakable. He instilled so much fear and suffering it dampened most everyone's hopes for freedom. But then there was Bloom; a young fairy with much yet to learn. Though clumsy and a tad too stubborn she was was a small candle in the dark he wished only to douse--a beacon of light to turn off. Most threatening of all, everyone seemed to believe in her, it was nauseating, and Valtor assumed it was only because the pest was they had.

"He told the tale so many times about the dream not meant to be in a world of the free he plays with your mind."

And so Valtor spun a great tale about how he would change and be the type of ruler that they sought. Making promises of releasing the prisoners (most of whom had been imprisoned for not abiding by the king's wishes or questioning his declarations) and lightening up some of the rules he'd established. Hell, he'd even told them that he'd build some new leisure accommodations. Yes, feeding the people what they wanted to hear kept them dumb and in the dark. He'd act temporarily on these good intentions and slowly--without the public noticing--revert back to his old ways when he was sure the took their faith out of Bloom.

"As faith for the future faded fast he grows strong with their displeasure it sets him free."

It was not long at all before the people started questioning Valtor's rule again. But this time the man was unswayed, he'd vanquish the girl once and for all so he wouldn't have to continue upholding these ridiculous facades. Because the more he thought about it, the more Valtor realized he rather enjoyed their displeasure and distance. He took pleasure in their disgusted looks and when they spat in his direction, it meant he had done his job. People only snare like so at those they know are above them.

"Deceiver of hearts deceiver of fools he rules with fear deceiver of hearts deceiver of fools he rules again. He rules your heart
He will sell your soul to the grave"

Looking back on his accomplishments, Valtor could say he deceived a great many. He even managed to worm his way into Tecna's mind (with promises of knowledge greater than any). Between her lack of hope and near selfish desire to know most everything he mislead and silenced some of her more threatening thoughts. He got to Stella upon buying her shoes of many colors and brands--to Flora as well by 'preserving' nature (of course when she turned her back a tree or two would hit the ground). And then there was Musa, he captured her trust through poetic lyrics she couldn't resist. He may or may not have mentioned something about an orb that could bring her mum back. And then there was Layla, the one who had fled--she was so close to liberating everyone in Magix, made it halfway back to Tides before Valtor's patrol caught her and...dealt with her. It was in this way, using her friends that he dimmed Bloom's flames. Her voice was now lost in the dark and the people with it the hope of those who once sought her leadership.

"No hesitation he'll make he belongs to the dark."

Such a dark twisted man Valtor was, and damn proud of it too. He now had total control, not a mind left without a seed of doubt. And he knew it too.

"Please awake and see the truth, he can only be if you believe what he tells you. Remember who you are what you stand for and there will always be a way."

But if only he had taken into account that one of those growing seeds of doubt was not doubtful of regaining freedom, but doubtful of Valtor's ability to rule. Simply because this woman in particular was so close to him (one of the very first in fact, to be brainwashed) that he didn't raise an eyebrow in her direction. As far as he was concerned, she was still busy worshiping him. By all means Icy never thought herself a hero, she still didn't in fact. Honestly she just wanted to got to the ice cream parlor and order however many scoops she wanted, rather than the pre-set portions rationed by Valtor. Okay, maybe that was just her cover story...perhaps she did want to be the good guy for once. Being somewhat of a dictator herself Icy knew most of the mind games Valtor played. They key to any liberation was to remember exactly who you were and what you valued. All Icy had to do was remind them that they were individuals with individual thoughts and individual opinions rather than a group of mindless Ogres...okay, so Knut had an excuse, but everyone else just reminded Icy of just how smart she truly was--oh and she'd surely remind them of such when they try to send her back to jail.

"In my heart there is a place in my heart there is a trace of a small fire burning.
A sheltering ray shines through this night although it 's small, it's bright. But darkness is lurking."

Icy supposed if she was to get anywhere, she'd have to start where the damage was at it's core; she approached Stella first, reminding the girl not to let herself become any more corrupt by the materialistic things. She had Stella at "Ya know, I used to long for jewelry like that, pretty sure that's when I decided I'd be the villain." Icy was both proud and insulted when the young girl had awoken. She next moved to Musa--surely her musical talent was superior to Valtor's and would win the fairy over in no time. With a very much bruised ego, Icy realized this was not the case. So instead she reminded the fairy that she was the one who wrote the lyrics, she was the one who touched people with songs, not Valtor. Flora was a much simpler case, all Icy had to do was take her to the Magix Wildlife Reserve, where it had become very apparent that Valtor was not holding up on his deal. And last she came to Tecna, all it took to get her back was a little reminder that she was "smarter than to fall for Valtor's trickery." And much like Valtor, through this she got to Bloom. The candle had been lit once more, and the public basked in it's radiance. The spark grew brighter and brighter day by day, up until Valtor lost enough fear to have him kicked off the thrown.

"Deceiver of hearts. Deceiver of fools shall he rule again?"

Only a month in to reborn freedom, they all looked past her, cheering on the Winx and tossing bitter looks her way. Icy had been discredited and was the object of the public's hate once more (she along side Darcy and Stormy). This left a little empty feeling inside the woman, but she supposed that it was alright, she wanted to be the bad guy anyways...couldn't have one silly good deed tarnish that reputation. Besides, Valtor would no doubt rise again and Icy could always lend the same hand...

If I remember right, fireflies won the poll so here's the fic based on it, i hope you all like it. This one is going to take place a few years after season 6, more so AU. And also if anyone is wondering Darko is from the comics.

"You would not believe your eyes if ten million fireflies lit up the world as I fell asleep. Cause they'd fill the open air and leave tear drops everywhere. You'd think me rude but I would just stand and stare."

Their hands locked together as they walked down the pier, the Firelight Festival in full swing. Icy and Darko would be meeting up with Bloom and Sky shortly....

"In a world so far away at the end of a closing day a little child was born and raised deep in the forest on a hidden place mother never saw his face."

The kid was an accident, the product of a wild Friday night party. A one night stand. His mother hadn't wanted him but she, despite all the evils she had done could not bring herself to kill a baby boy who hadn't even a chance at life. Darcy carried the baby to full term but out of fear and a bit of distaste she had left the newborn on a stump in the middle of the forest. By nothing short of a miracle the boy was found and raised by the things...

Hello I'm the Winx-Critic. I remember it so you don't have to! So here is part two of the girls mission to Andros in their Harmonix. Let's hope that it turns out to be actually decent and not complete crap.

The episode starts with us going back to Andros to see that the big scary thing in front of Layla, Stella and Bloom was just the guardian of the Andros gate, Lemmy. She and Layla bond, Lemmy's powers then being restored because of this. Confused as to why they would be gone in the first place, Layla asks what happened to her powers; Lemmy explaining that Tritannus took them.

Back at Alfea,...

Hello I'm the Winx-Critic. I remember it so you don't have to! So I guess this is where they finally earn the pointless transformation (Or so I've heard) known as Harmonix. Well, let's just see how pointless it is, shall we?

The episode starts off with Tecna and Layla debating on whether or not they should open the Sirenix book. But, when Layla tries to open it, she can't. Musa and Flora soon show up and tell the two that Miss Faragonda wants to see them all.

We go to Alfea's grounds where Bloom is still trying to rouse Sky's memories. She shows him a rose and goes on with some bullshit of how...
