I woke up the nest morning and screamed. I had to do a broadway musical...with Douglas...I gagged. I wanted to stay home and keep myself locked i nmy room until I rotted. Anything was better than being with him.
Then, my pink rhinestone-studded cell phone started ringing to Miley Cyrus's Party In The U.S.A. I turned over and picked it up. Caitlyn Thompsett. God...no. I picked my cell up anyway and answered it. "What?"
"Hey, get up and go!" Cait said. "You'll be late!" Then there was a knock at the door, and I ran outside, hanging up my phone, go get into Cait's mom's car to go to New York.

Once we got to New York, Caitlyn made her mom stop outside a large theater. "Whoa..." I whispered. We walked out of the car, there were Jess and Sarah sitting on the steps, Douglas carving a stick.
"This is going to be a long, weird day." I said, getting out of the car.
I walked up to Douglas on the steps. He looked up at me. "What's up, Princess?" he smiled.
"Shut up." I said, then knelt down to whisper to him. "Ok," I knelt down by him, and he put his arm around me. I looked at him funyn then shook my head. "I wanna know if you like me." I sighed.
"Well, I thought you were smart."
I started trying to choke him adn kick him in his crotch. "Take it back!"
"Hey, hey, hey!!!!" Sarah got me up off him. "What the hell?!?!"
I pushed past Sarah and sat on the steps by myself.
Then, a large black limo pulled up adn a woman stepped out. She was rather thin, with a long red dress, and a fur leather boa. She had long curly black hair and stunning brown eyes. "Hello, children." She said. "I am your musical instructor, Mrs. McCowwitz, but you can call me Miss M."
"Hi, Mrs. M." I waved.
"Ah," she walked in front of me. "you must be Brittani." She smiled lovingly. "the young brunette."
Then she lead us into the theater.
The theater was huge. Red seats pockmarked the enourmous stadium, and balconies rose above like an opra hall. "Whoa...." I said.
"Mmmm, yes." Mrs. M studied. She took us down the carpet and up into the stage, to where we were seated-me, Cait, Jess, Sarah, Douglas, Rachel, and Bryan.
"Ok," she said, "you all know that parts will be given today, and someone will need to transfer costumes or role-appropriate clothing."
"SHE WILL!" Caitlyn held up my arm and pointed to me.
"Brittani?"
I sighed. "Fine."
"Ok," Mrs. M clapped. "First, roles. I've chosen your roles given upon your appearances and personalities. First, Rachel and Caitlyn."
Rachel and Caitlyn stood up and walked over to Mrs. M. Rachel was beautiful for a thirteen year old. She had very pale skin, dark brown hair, green eyes, and she stood with such an attitude, apart from Caitlyn, who, with her bouncy orange curls, it just a little butterball of goofiness.
Mrs. M handed them each a small index card, with tape on their answers so no one could see it. "These cards show your roles, under a thick layer of double-sided tape." Mrs. M showed us.
I knew whatever answer I got was not gonna be pretty.
