“So we will not speak of or mention the unspeakable event that took place last night,” Darren told us, looking like a stern teacher reprimanding his class.
“For the hundredth time yes!” Edith shrieked.
The sad part was that she wasn’t exaggerating.
We were all on edge, super tension ran from the air, we had left the park with a dispirited mood. Not because of the stupid stone. Iris was supposed to call us when she got home, but the call never came so we called Stilere who told us they drove a bit more but she dropped Iris out a while ago. A number one sign she was still angry at us, and early in the morning Iris took a seat at the back of the class, next to a window, staring blankly at it for the whole period.
She didn’t look us in the eye, she never even looked our way. She seemed, exhausted, tired and worst of all drained. She didn’t even try to talk to the kids around her, like she usually would have.
It was lunchtime and we were all sitting at our table, waiting for a girl who probably wouldn’t show up. It’s been about a few minutes, but the cafeteria was a deadly place, she must be stuck in the rampaging pushing and shoving of the fellow hungry students.
“Okay so-”
“DARREN! SHUT UP!”
We weren’t getting any better.
Iris
“What are you doing here?”
I turned and inwardly sighed when I saw Alex come towards me, I didn’t want to talk to him or the rest of them at the moment.
“Sitting. Alone, until you came and ruined it.” I said, turning back to stare at the beautiful sky.
“Iris-”
“I don’t want to hear it, I don’t care what you have to say. No excuse could fix this Alex!” I yelled, feeling some steam come off. “I told you it was a bad idea, but no, you just had to play hero and ditch me. If Mikey hadn’t pushed me away…”
‘Then I would’ve become the second victim of that park’ I wanted to say, the unspoken words lay heavily in the air, creating a bridge between us.
“I didn’t-”
“Yes you did, you just didn’t care, you had to figure out something that will probably be a mystery forever, were not the ‘ancient race’, we can’t understand their concepts like we do for ours. It’s a whole new world-”
‘A thrilling place I never knew,” he whispered.
I glared at him. “That we know nothing about, not even Aladdin either genius.”
Alex flashed me a smile. “Sorry I can’t help it. Instinct. And it’s your fault for rerunning that part every single time.”
I rolled my eyes. “I liked it.”
“I’m really really really really really really sorry Iris, I shouldn’t have shunned you, I should’ve listened.”
“Too late for that,” I whispered, turning my gaze back to the sky.
Alex sighed. “Just sit with us at lunch, okay? Edith is about to kill Darren if he opens his mouth again. We love you. We miss you. Please?”
“Fine! But don’t think I’m going to try to make any conversation, I’m still really steamed off about this.” I say, standing up.
Alex grinned, hugging me, and he lead me toward the table, which was far far away.
How did he even know I was here?

Sea around,
This is a place,
Nightmares are found.
Stinking bogs,
And tombstones black,
It is waiting,
To attack.
Enter now,
And you will find,
Objects of,
The destroyed kind.
Bloody puddles,
Broken mirrors,
Headless dolls,
All to fuel your fears.
Around the corner,
Darkness waits,
For the next victim,
And his fate.
Death and distress,
Blood and gore,
Normal things,
That we adore.
Twins in life,
Death as well,
Pale and ghostly,
We won't tell.
What had happened,
Late one night,
After she barked,
Before the bite.
Now we lay,
In watery grave,
Bodies empty,
Souls not saved.
Until the night,
We answer her call,
Haunt the living,
Until they fall.
Your expression when you see me
drives me over the edge.
You are the only reason
why my heart still functions
We are the formula of love
I am certain
that you love me too.
No one
could ever make a difference
on how i feel towards you
We are the formula of love
Promise that we wont
ever break apart
We are the image
of a heart
the outcome of each other
and the formula of love
Although you think clockwise
and i think counterclockwise
we always meet up in the end
You are 100% mine
and my formula of love
You are the center of my world
My feeling towards you
shows on my face
I can estimate that you
will always have a spot in my heart
now can you believe
that, that was only a sample
of how i feel about you
drives me over the edge.
