"Shiloh, I..." my mouth was dry, and I had no idea what to say. He smiled hopefully at me. I did love him, but I'm only eighteen! "I... uh..." The door opened, and Sicily and Chance walked in. Sicily froze when she saw us; my face burning and Shiloh down on one knee. She mouthed "oops" and tip-toed out of the room, still holding Chance. I heard her giggle.
"Well...?" Shiloh prompted, thinking I'd forgotten the previous conversation. I turned back to him, my mouth still gaping. Then, my heart seemed to melt. I realized I loved him a lot; and I wanted to spend the rest of my life with him.
"Yes." His grin widened, and he took out the ring. He took my left hand and put it on my ring finger. Then he stood back up and hugged me tight, and kissed my forehead.
"Thank you... now we might wanna go tell Sicily before she has an anxiety attack," Shiloh laughed. He took my hand and went out to the living room. Sicily was sitting on the couch, pretending to watch TV. She seemed to not notice our entrance, but I could tell she was itching to know. Shiloh and I decided to mess with her. Shiloh sat on the floor and relaxed. I sat on the couch and yawned. Sicily's leg started bouncing.
"Well?!" she finally asked. I giggled.
"Well what?" Shiloh asked, as if he had no idea what she was talking about. Sicily groaned and turned to me hopefully.
"What'd you say?!" she asked.
"Yes," I grinned. Sicily squealed with joy and hugged me.
"YAY!!" she shouted. Chance screamed at the excitement of his Godmother. "That's awesome! I'm so happy for you guys! This is wonderful!" She pulled us all into a big group hug.
The end.
**Epilogue**
Shiloh and I married about a year after he proposed. Chance got to be the ring-bearer, with Sicily guiding him along the way. Alice was there too. My father did not show up for my wedding.
Shiloh dropped out of high school to become a full-time carpenter. We both went to an online high school, and after a couple years, we both got our GED's. Shiloh later adopted Chance as well.
A few years later, when Chance was three, Shiloh and I had a baby. We named her Cassie, and she has Shiloh's dark curly hair. Chance was really happy to be a big brother, and he's always very nice to Cassie. Alice became Cassie's Godmother, while Sicily is Chance's.
I did allow Ty to see Chance. Chance understood that Shiloh was not his birth-father, but it was hard for him to understand why he wasn't allowed to be by himself with Ty, or why he couldn't see him a lot.
Shiloh and I now live a comfortable life in a cozy house. The kids love it when Aunt Alice or Aunt Sicily come over, which is often. Sicily married a nice young man named Bryant a few months after Cassie turned two, and Alice married a young man named Chesney later on. Shiloh's parents come over a lot too, and the kids love seeing their grandparents. My dad still doesn't know Cassie was born; after we sent the wedding invitation, we received a letter saying that he wanted no part of my new life. Even so, we carry on with our lives. Shiloh still believes that he'll come back one day, but I'm not so sure.
Only time will tell, I guess...

I'm just drifting, drifting down this road.
The dust kicking up behind me,
Just a cloud to hide my past.
My feet don't leave any footprints,
My name never graces those lips
That I'm watching from a distance,
A distance that grows greater
As I'm drifting, drifting down this road.
I'm not on the way to anything great,
I'm just hiding, hiding down in the dark.
The shadows closing in around me,
Just a blanket to smother my past.
My eyes can't see in the gloom,
My voice never breaks the silence
That I keep deep in my heart,
A heart that grows blacker
As I'm drifting, drifting in the dark.
People say flowers are beautiful.
They're beautiful, that's true.
They also provide oxygen for us.
People say weeds are ugly.
They apparently have no value,
Nor do they deserve to live.
I'm not talking weeds that grow in the garden.
I'm talking about wild plants.
Well, weeds are flowers, too.
Just give them a chance.
Once you get to know them, they're amazing.
They can be just as pretty as flowers.
I may not be an orchid or a sunflower.
I may not be a rose or an iris.
I'm more of a dandelion.
I may be a weed, but I'm not so bad.
Give me half a chance. I'm pretty neat.
So, weeds are flowers, too.
Get to know them. They're pretty great.

Travel Log
After watching a few videos of Rick Steve on Youtube, I was very inspired by him to be a travel log since I love travelling, especially to Europe, more parts of the US and both South and Central America.
Movie & Musical Review
I love to write about movies and musicals that I had seen, so whenever the latter is adapted into the former. I would also compare them if I had seen a musical before, however spoiler alerts ahead!
Book & Movie Review
Although I had done this a couple of times on Dan Brown's Da Vinci Code and Angels & Demons, I hope to do more of this!
Enjoy Writing!
Whenever I write, I tried to improve myself and on my writing skills. It also became a hobby that I really enjoy!
