I felt the tape on my mouth and the long rope that was binding me to the chair. The Room was so black, I couldn't see. I recalled how I had got there. The new family next door invited me to their housewarming party. So I went. Then, as I was going home, some-one grabbed me. A rough hand covered my mouth, so I couldn't scream. All I saw of my kidnapper was a pair of shocking green eyes. I was thrown into the back of a white van and tied up. I was there for only five minutes, but time slowed down and took five hours. Why did anyone want to kidnap me? I had done nothing wrong. The van doors opened, and the same green-eyed man bundelled me out. He carried me into a dark room. And that is how I got here. I was tied so tightly that I could not reach the phone in my pocket. I was a prisoner. Alone.
Then there was a sudden outburst of mad laughter from another room. It must have been the green-eyed man. Then the door slowly creaked open. The green eyes of the man were wide open and brighter than ever. I looked at his hand. He was carrying a knife. It was dripping with blood. I felt as if my heart had stopped. I was going to die. Never again would I run barefoot in a green field... green! This thought brought me back to reality. I was not going to die. Not now. With the this thought, I quickly slid off the chair. Then I tore the tape from my mouth, and screamed. The man had me with the knife to my throat. Remembering my training in martial arts almost four years previously, I grabbed hold of the knife, and directed it towards him. The man ran, as quick as a cheetah. Now there was the problem of getting home.
I stepped out of the door, and tried to think where I was. Then I realised that I had my phone. Quickly, I dialled the police. To my horror, the green-eyed man came running out of a nearby bush. His hands were preparing to strangle me. Just as I gave up all hope, a police car came roaring down the road. They grabbed the green-eyed man, and took him away.
I got back home. I am safe now. But still i live in fear of the day he is released.
Thanks for reading! That story was called 'The Room'. It is an original story by Ellie Cowell. Just so you know, that story was completely fictional.

Kyle:Krissa, it's ok, everything will be fine.
Krissa:No it won't!!!How can he do this to me!...how can he do this to us!
Me:He didn't...he did it to be happy.
Krissa looked at me with watery eyes, tears falling, dripping from her face.
Kyle:Kris, he is your father, but he just needs to move on and live a happier life.
Me:Exactly, he never wanted to hurt you like this, he loves you, but he loves her, too.
Krissa:If he did love me, he'd dump that barbie!
Kyle looked at me, I looked at him.
Kyle:She needs some time alone.
I nodded.
I hurt the thump sound of when Krissa jumps on her bed.
Me:Maybe she'll grow out of it in a few days...
Kyle:Or a few years...why is she so...upset of her dad getting married?
Me:Well, when she went to visit him, she was just there, he never told her.She got mad and came right back.
Kyle:Well that IS upsetting.
Me:No kidding.
