The air was still as if it were holding its breathe waiting for me as I approached the ledge. I could feel myself pushing back tears as I clutched the fragile locket in my hands; I traced its dainty designs with my finger. "So mom and dad are getting the divorce after all. I guess you were right E. I don't know why I ever doubted you about that one I mean it was obvious! I guess I tried to block it out like what happened......" I muttered looking up at the milky white moon. It seemed to look down at me with sympathetic beams of light. My hands gripped the marble ledge tighter. "Eliza it's been so hard not seeing you. Seeing your bright blue eyes and the way you would always play with your hair when you were sad and the way you could make up a story to make me feel better! I miss you Eliza I-I need you back! Why did you have to leave?" I screamed at the sky.
The stars seemed to loose there brightness as I sat there and sobbed. My hair flew into my face as the wind blew harder and clouds rolled in. But I didn't care I just sat there still in the clothes I wore to the funeral and sobbed. Even as the rain poured I sat there looking at the only thing I had left of her; her picture in my locket and the BFF bracelet she made me. I clutched them tightly thinking about her when suddenley I heard footsteps. I looked up to see about my age peering at me with an umbrella extended out for me.
"What are you doing out here in the rain? And well who are you?" He said as he sat down across from me with a blue umbrella covering him from the rain that was now coming down by the buckets. "I heard somebody crying out here so I just wanted to see what is the matter."
"My name is Annastasia Levito. And I'm here trying to escape my life!" I replied "What happened that made you so upset that you're in out in the rain without an umbrella?" I sighed and took a deep breath. "My friend she-she jumped off a bridge a couple days ago so she could kill herself. And ummm this was her fifth attempt I had to talk her out of all the rest but you know she was a fiesty one. I mean she was my best friend! She was the only person who understood me and now she's dead! And the way I found out was I got a text from her before she jumped saying 'this is the end goodbye' So that's why. Not to mention my parents are getting a divorce tomorrow and my friend funeral is today! I said burrying my face in my lap.
I cried and without warning the boy scooted next to me and put his arm around my shoulder. "I see and so you ran away because things were getting rough huh?" I sighed "Yeah I mean between my parents yelling, my sister being a brat, and seeing my friend lying in a casket I couldn't take it! And when I tried to say a few last words her parents didn't even care in fact they didn't even show up! She deserved a better life and a better family! I mean both of our lifes weren't perfect but she deserved one more than me" I sobbed as I looked up at the moon. The boy looked me in the eyes "I see. You must've really cared for her then didn't you?"
Looking up I saw that the storm was letting up. "I'm Matt b the way come on let's go inside I'll get you something warm to wear and something to eat ok?"
"Ok." I replied taking his hand as he leaded me inside.
To be continued......

I keep my rhythm
I tap in time,
My music is my world
An angry beat inside.
It can crash like a waterfall
Or gradually trickle down,
It can make you laugh and cry
That powerful sound.
My headphones on my head
The lyrics flowing though,
Filling up my brain
Music is the food I chew.
It can be beautiful, strange
Crazy and cool,
I couldn't live without music
There's a style to suit all.
Music is like a brand new life
Jumping around your mind,
Each instrument that is played
Is an ingredient to find.
There's nothing quite like music
There's nothing quite like me,
You can always find a friend in music
Music will always be.

The pain you caused isn't what scarred me
The burning tears you left me to shed isn't what burned me
Your last words aren't what hindered me
It was the Legend.
That endless struggle to win
To fight back
To not toss and turn in my bed
That secure feeling I had before you
To feel as a sharp as a pencil lead
Now that loneliness I feel without you
A constant reminder
Feeling my heart beat again
Done with the breathtaking moments
And the heart-skipping kisses
To breathe again
Over and Done with
It wasn't those tears
It wasn't those words
It wasn't all that pain you left me to bare.
It wasn't the legend you were when you were here
But the legacy in my heart that you left!
The burning tears you left me to shed isn't what burned me
Your last words aren't what hindered me
It was the Legend.

There I was. *sigh* Just sitting there, waiting for him. Who? You ask? My crush, Patrick Wellsiben, he was the one for me. Let alone, him being THE most popular boy in school, I was known as a loser. I was the omega of the wolf pack. What am I talking about? Nevermind. My conscience says "Ask him out!", but my guts say "Don't do it you! He's gonna say no!" I don't know what to do! He comes near me and says "Hey." I stand there like a scarecrow smiling. "I feel stupid." "So stupid." Why shouldn't I get the attention from populars? I have short, thick black hair, I wear tank tops all the time, regular jeans and converse. So much for fitting in.
It's Funny, I Use To Be Popular. At First Some People Loved Me And Others Hated Me. Now Everyone Hates Me. Even My Old Best Friends. You See, I Always Found A Flaw In Everyone And Used It To Hurt Them. Not Physicly Hurt. I Made Them Feel Horrible About Them Selves. I Was The Reason You Cried On The Way Home. The Reason You Fake Sicked. Of Course Karma Came And Hit Me Like A Ton Of Bricks. I Try Hard To Be Nice, But No One At School Pays Attention To Me. Except Teachers. I Even Tried Sitting With My Old Friends.
"Hey, Guys!" I Said
"What Are You Doing Here?" Said Lexi Illing
"I Just Wanted To Sit With You."
"Well, Their's No Room"
"Yeah, Right There." I Said Pointing To The Empty Chair At The End.
"Well," Said Victoria Khan Placing Her Books On The Seat. "Now It's Taken."
Everyone Laughed. Except Me Of Course. I Just Walked Away. Wishing, I Had Never Been So Cruel.
