"Hmmm..."
"Whats wrong Kate?" Asked Krista.
"Nothing..." Replied Katherine.
"I've been your friend since kindergarden... I know when somethings wrong! Now spill it."
"Okay well...I want to tell Chris I love him but I'm so afraid of what he'll say..."
"Ugh! I've heard so many rumors from his friends and everyone else...he loves you too!"
"Its a rumor! Sometimes rumors are false!"
"Yes but some are true."
"Yeah SOME. It would be nice if he told me..."
"Ugh fine, i'm not gonna argue with you... have fun finding out!"
"Yeah... thanks."
I walkout into the hallway and accidentally bump into someone.
"Oh sorr-"
"Its fine."
I realize who's talking to me and I feel a blush creeping on my face. Chris.
"H-hi Chris."
"Hey Katherine, meet me at the park across the street in a few?"
"Sure."
"Okay, see you then."
He smiled his beautiful smile and walked away. Good thing I didn't faint...
"Katherine!"
"Krista!"
"I heard Chris asked you out!!"
"He didn't really ask me out...he just asked me to the park."
"Thats being asked out."
"I'm pretty sur-"
"Okay skip this subject, are you gonna go?!"
"Of course!"
"Good, I hear more rumors starting up!"
"Oh god..."
"Well its almost time, call me right away when you get home!"
"Will do."
Krista winks at me and walks out the front door. I run to my locker and grab my books for home. Oh god I hope I don't faint, stupid weak heart... The last bell rings and I rush out the door and across the street.
"Hey,you made it!"
"I wouldn't miss it for the world! Hahaha!"
"Thats nice to hear."
He smiles his perfect smile at me...oh how I love it... and him.
"I have something to tell you...but i'm really to shy to say..." mummbled Chris.
"Its okay, you can tell me anything."
"Ok...here it goes... I liked you from the first day I saw you, your smile brittens my day, just being near you makes me weak. You are the only thing i'd fight for and... I love you..."
My heart stoped for a minute. Did he say he LOVES me? If this is a dream it is NOT funny! I must be dreaming...
"This is just a dream...I'm not really here, your not really here, and I did not hear what you said."
"Ahaha no this isn't a dream, its real."
He pulls out roses from behind his back and hands them to me.
"I love you til each rose dies."
There were 10 roses and...1 fake?
"Why is one fake?"
"Because a fake rose can't die, so my love for you will never die."
"That's the sweetest thing anyone has ever said to me!" I threw my arms around his neck and hugged him tightly. He pulled back and kissed me. God has sent me my wish finally.
"May I walk you home?" He asks.
"I would be upset if you didn't"
