Danny:
I grabbed my pink and green duffel bag off the wooden shelf beside my green bed.
I was inside the earth elemental tree house where all the earth elementals sleep if they are staying in the BOES over night. Marcus, Brenna, and I were supposed to be sleeping but we all weren't. We were running out to go find Janie. We weren't supposed to leave.
After pulling on skinny jeans and a green Nike shirt I was ready. I woke up Marcus after I had pulled on my brown converse and jacket.
"wha....what is it Danny?" He asked impatiently while rubbing his eyes. I ruffled his black hair.
"Get up meat head we're going. And be quiet. You don't want Trixi waking up and hearing us." I pointed at the bed by the window where Trixi snored.
He nodded and got up to change in the boy's room. I went to wake up Brenna where I found her already out on the ground with her bag strapped over one shoulder.
"Hurry up slow pokes!!" She whispered. Yea she's an early riser. She wakes up the minute the sun begins to rise. It's her element. Still the sun wasn't all the way up yet.
I giggled and went back in for Marcus. We slowly climbed down the ladder and saw Brenna and her red curls.
After we jumped over boundary between the real world and the valley Marcus pushed us into a tree.
"Marcus!!" I said frustrated. "The tree says that pushing us into it isn't a very good wake up call."
"Sorry.." He whispered. "I sensed someone close by, like someone is following us."
"Did the earth tell you?" I said jokingly.
He gave me an annoyed look. "Yes, it did for your information. Any way you just talked to the tree."
I stared back.
After about 5 seconds Marcus let go of me and Brenna. We began walking again until Marcus pushed us into a green bush.
"What was that for?!" Brenna yelled at him. Marcus put a finger to her lips to shush her.
"I heard him again."
I sighed. "Are you sure it's a 'him'?" I asked.
"Yes. He's hot."
"Ugh....." awkward. Brenna and I stared at each other. Marcus DID NOT get the memo.
"OH!!!!! No no no I didn't mean it that way I meant like he is burning as in hot! Like his aura is like a fire!"
"Okay that explains it. Now will you get off of me?" I cried. I freeked and jumped up.
"Wait we may have to-" But we already knew what he was going to say.
A tall boy with blond hair and a tan muscular body of about 14 chucked a fire ball at Marcus. The boy looked like he was a volleyball player from California. You know that kind.
He jumped up and sent a path of burning flame towards Marcus's bare feet. (you know, earth elemental)
I screamed and sent a twig to et the burn. Marcus winked at me and sent a charging rock at the boy.
Brenna couldn't do anything, there was no sunlight. Frantically, I sent her up to the top of the tree and ran behind the boy.
As I slid behind him I turned and found my self a raging grizzly bear. My animal.

Janie:
A small tear slid down my cheek. I couldn't believe I did that. I had left my family. I knew being there was the key to my survival. Why wouldn't I want to be with them? Learn their ancient secret?
Honestly, I had a feeling this wasn't going to happen to anyone. Finding out you're half wolf half human. Or that you can control one of the elements.
I remembered the times when Danny and I were little. The times when In the summer I would come to her house and play in the water. I could stay in there for hours and never get cold. Danny and I would pretend to be princesses in distress. We would pretend to drown while Danny's dad would play and come save us.
I remembered the day we bought Daisy. That cute little puppy. I remember how we would make lemonade stands so we could go to build-a-bear and buy an animal. I bought a white wolf.
I turned off the iced road and walked through a dark ally. My house is in that kind of area of town. The one where all the robbery happen. I was a block away from my house now. Several times I heard a whisper in my head to turn back and go to Danny. To say I loved her and that I was sorry. I didn't.
I heard a dog bark behind me. I heard a woman scream. I even seemed to hear a woman water her plants in the middle of winter. Ever since I enter through that castle back at BOES I had gotten better senses. Better strength. I seemed to have better reflexes as well.
I kicked a beer bottle away from my path into the snow. It was late. I had been walking for hours. It was probably 3 a.m. by now.
Suddenly I heard footsteps behind me. I turned around...but no one was there. Ignoring it I flipped my brown hair out of my face and kept walking. I heard it again. Turning I found no one. But I did see tracks in the snow. And they weren't mine. They were a goat's hoof prints.

Danny:
After we had tied up the boy with my vines and I was back to human form we had a meeting. WE dragged the boy out to the main rode and decided to ask him who he was.
"who are?" Brenna asked with her hand on her hip.
"What's it to you? I probably shouldn't tell you, besides, you did attack me." He seemed strong. But I noticed a hint of fear in his voice.
Marcus laughed. "Us attack you? You're the one who chucked a fire ball at me!"
"Ahhh....true."
I laughed. "I don't think you're dangerous. I'm Danny Brown, Daniella Brown actually." Brenna slapped my hand. I rolled my eyes.
"I'm Marcus Lee, and I see your a fire elemental. I'm earth elemental." Marcus said while eying me.
He smiled. "You guys are like me. I already knew though. I'm Kyle Shivoni. I'm looking for my Dad."
"We're looking for our friend. She's...." But I stopped Marcus. We couldn't trust this guy. He could be a follower of Laman. If we told him there was now a ice wolf shape shifter...we would be in deep doodoo.
"We are looking for our friend. She is....a..." I had to make an excuse. "She is a water elemental."
Marcus nodded at me. Good excuse was what his face said.
"That's cool. Do you think you could let me go?" He asked with eagerness in his eyes.
I looked at Brenna. "I don't think we can still trust you." she said. "But we will let you travel with us. And we will unbind you." She walked over to him and untied his vine binds.
"WHAT!!!???" I said in astonishment. I thought we WEREN'T going to trust him!! So you unbind him and let him travel with us?

Janie:
I screamed at the touch of his ice cold hands. And I don't get cold. They were raspy and weird. the touch of them on my shoulder made me jump and scream. I turned around to see who he was. No one was there. After I turned around again I-
"AAAAAAHHHHH!!!" I screamed. I was face to face with a man with dark red eyes, long black hair, a scrunched up face, a long freaky scar draped across his cheek, and a long pointed nose.
I knew who he was. As he spoke his toung was a Snake's slithered strip of flesh that always scares me. I don't think you can really call it a snake's toung though.
"Who....are...you?" I whispered in a scared voice. His hot breathe smelled of gasoline which was odd.
After a moment of his red eyes glaring into mine he answered. "I'm Laman. You should know that by now."

Temporary Home
For some people, this world is only a stopover. They arrive here to do some good while they can, but they know that this is still not their true home. They are angels who come to light up our lives with their luminescence and to teach us what they can before they have to move on. They flash in on golden wings, but it seems that they are gone before you can say “Thank you” or “I love you”. They leave softly, without fanfare. They kiss our brow as lightly as a heart’s whisper, and smile, blinding us with its brightness. When we blink, they are gone.

Friends Are Forever,so I thought.
All those pictures that I bought, now torn apart along with my broken heart.
I miss those hugs and laughs we use to share, because now they act like they don't care.
Now all we do is fight.
I wish God would give us some light, give me a solution to solve all this tension.
Friends don't back stab you.
Friends don't talk behind your back or be pissed off at you when they feel like it.
Nobody seems to care anymore.
Now girls are turning into whores.
All I know is that now we are all friends for never.
When we need to go back to being friends FOREVER!

This is written about the perfect silence only found in the dead of night, and the feelings it inspires.
The title comes from the description a friend of mine gave when we were stuck in the middle of nowhere at midnight and I found it sort of beautiful.
Enjoy (I hope) :)
Weighted air and winking stars,
darkness draped, tension wrought.
This night, this hour, is ours.
Silence chimes unspoken thoughts
that choke my mouth.
Silver moonbeams in glittering outline
surround you, and in our youth
this night, this hour, we intertwine.
I'd love to hear what you like or hate.
Thanks for reading.
