I was born in Hawaii to two die-hard surfers. Who said I didn't have salt water in my vanes? Two brothers. That's my answer to why I'm so competitive. Me and my best friend, Katie, were best friends since birth. We spent more time wet then we did dry. My mom was convinced that we were mermaids. The moment I caught my first wave, I knew I wanted to be a pro surfer.
Bridgette, at the age of 12, dived into the water with her surf board. She came up as she is now, 16. She paddeled out to a wave and got in the middle of it. She came up and she rode the wave.
Surfing is my passion.
Bridgette was in the water, She just finished riding the wave. Her brother, Noah, was watching her. "Bridgette!" he yelled at her. She didn't notice him calling her. "Bridgette! Come on let's go! You're late!" Noah said. Bridgette heard it that time. "I'm comming! Sorry I lost track of time,"
Bridgette ran behind a bush and dropped her board. She put her beach dress over her swimsuit and ran to her "church."
She found her family. "Move over!" she said to Cody. "Sorry, this seat is taken," he said. She sat down in the seat. "How's the waves?" her mother asked. "Perfect" she said. Bridgette sang along to the song some friends were singing up on stage. Bridgette looked over at the ocean.
Bridgette sat in her room, strumming her ukulele. She looked out her window, seeing that her parents were out surfing. Her dog, Ginger, licked her leg and made her laugh. She got up and put her ukulele away and went into the kitchen.
She got her dry earse board and went outside. her brothers followed her, both carrying a pad of paper.
Her parents were riding the waves. Bridgette and her siblings sat down and watched her mother ride a wave. After she was done, her children gave her a score. Noah gave her an 8, Cody gave her a 7, and Bridgette gave her a 5.6. "They gave me a five?" Mrs. Hamilton said. "Read it and weap, honey," Mr. Hamilton said. He then rode a wave. After he was done. he got a score too. Noah gave him an 8.5, Cody gave him a 9, and Bridgette gave him a 10. Her mother got out of the water and threw sand at them. of course, it was family fun. They all joined in and threw sand at each other. Her dad fell. "Ow,ow" he said. "Oh, is it your knee again?" Bridgette's mom asked as she tried to help him up. "Got ya!" he said. It was an awesome evening.
