It took a long time to finally decide the full lineup of my favorite movies because I just love them so much! Well, here's the countdown of my favorite Princess movies.

10. Pocahontas
I didn't see this movie as a child, so it never really connected to me. I saw it a few months ago and thought that it was quite boring and dull. It was a great movie of course, but could not compare to the other princess movies. The plot is not very exciting, and the climax of the movie when they were about to fight, really didn't get me emotional or excited. The ending was one of my favorites though. That was probably the most exciting part of the movie, but it just could not make up for the boringness of the rest of it.

9. The Princess and the Frog
I liked this movie. I really did! I thought it was good, but lacked that Disney magic. It was an interesting movie, but the animation and music wasn't all that spectacular. It didn't leave a lasting impression on me. While Tiana isn't exactly my favorite princess, I do like her. The plot of the movie is just not my cup of tea. A nice lovely movie to watch, but not something that would stick in my mind.

8. Snow White and the Seven Dwarves
This is one of the first princess movies that I ever watched. I really love it and it brings back a lot of memories, but its just isn't my favorite. The songs aren't very good in my opinion, and the lack of character development annoys me. Snow White is very naive and gets tricked by the queen way too much. I just want to scream whenever I watch the part where she bites the apple! This is a classic treasured movie that will always be one of my favorites, but it just doesn't measure up to the ones above,

7. Cinderella
Don't get me wrong, I ADORE this movie. It makes me so happy and cheerful whenever I watch it. There's even some humor in it! The plot is iconic and Cinderella is one of my favorite princesses. This movie is the first princess movie I watched and has stuck with me for a long time. The story is just a bit predictable and overdone for me. It's a nice bit of fluff to watch on a rainy day, but there are other movies I'd definitely watch over this.

6. Tangled
I LOVE Tangled. It is SO funny and cute. Kinda like Rapunzel lols. The movie was action packed and the songs were so pretty! The reason this movie isn't higher up is well... i really don't know. I can't find a single thing wrong with this movie. I guess I just like the other 5 better. I cannot explain why I don't like this movie more than the others. It's just me. The other movies just sing to me more.

5. Sleeping Beauty
This was my favorite movie as a little kid growing up. Probably because Aurora was so pretty and the setting was so magical. But I have to say, the animation was GORGEOUS and the soundtrack was AMAZING. I never get tired of this movie. My favorite part would be the part where Briar Rose goes singing in the woods and meets Prince Phillip. It's all so beautiful and romantic! A lot of people find this movie dull and predictable, but I just love how heroic Phillip is and the happy ending :) Unlike a lot of people I really really love Aurora and Maleficent is just the most amazing villain.

4. Mulan
Now this is a GREAT movie. AMAZING hilarious, action packed, and teaches kids great lessons. Mulan is so awesome cuz she kicks butt and is the hero of her own story! She's flawed but learns a lot about herself throughout the story. She proves that a woman can be a hero as well. The songs are so funny and catchy! Mushu makes the whole movie come together though. He's just an awesome character. Mulan never leaves you bored for a minute. As a kid, Shanyu always scared the crap out of me though :\ lmao

3. Aladdin
This movie is incredible. I find the ancient Arabian world SUPER fascinating! The scenery and setting of the movie was mysterious, fantastical, and just amazing. The plot is interesting with lots of twists and turns, and I just love Jasmine and Aladdin! They're one of my favorite Disney couples. Genie is hilarious! He makes the movie, the awesome movie it is. The soundtrack is great, and the animation is beautiful. I would watch this movie any day and I never get tired of it.

2. Beauty and the Beast
Belle may be my favorite princess, but her movie comes in second. I saw this movie after all the classics, but immediately LOVED it. The beast used to scare me, but the plot was just so interesting! I love Belle and I really like the message of the movie. Beauty is found within. It's such a magical movie with AMAZING songs and lovely animation. The talking objects (especially Lumiere) were one of my favorite parts of the movie. I saw so many of my own goals and dreams in Belle. I love how the story tells of her not settling for a small little life in the village, and how she pursued adventure and never looked back. That was amazing :)

1. The Little Mermaid
After seeing this movie, I've wanted to be a mermaid so bad. It totally entranced me the whole movie and the music just brought the movie together! I just LOVE Ariel and her ambition to explore the world! She knows there's so much more in life and I just adore the plot of the story. I really relate to the idea of wanting to explore a different world and wanting to get out of the norm. The movie was so magical and had every aspect of Disney magic in it! The love story was beautiful, the animation was gorgeous, the music was SPECTACULAR, and the plot was amazing. It brought me to a whole new world and really inspired me. This is one of my favorite movies of ALL TIME and it will always hold a special place in my heart. <3

Because why not?

13. Jasmine

Spirited
Spirited

I never really thought Jasmine was pretty, save for several select shots, and know I see why. The shape of her eyes make her look freaky and alienish when they're open all the way. Her nose is alright in some shots, like the above, but it looks plain weird in others. In her bad shots, she doesn't even look human, so of course she's 13.

12. Merida

I had a dream of putting Merida high on my list, yet that dream was sadly crushed when I actually made this stupid thing. So here she is, at 12. Anywho, I find Merida to have a unique but stunning...

So this is another article I'm writing based on a poll I recently done. This time the question was "Do you think a princess has to be perfect?" At the time I'm writing this, 28 people votes 61% no, 39% yes.

People are allowed to have their own opinions and thoughts, that's something I will always respect. But when the topic of perfection is up for debate, it makes me wonder if people really have any idea of how harmful being "perfect" can be.

So some of you might ask me, what's wrong with perfection? In what way can it possibly be harmful? Well, have a seat, make yourself comfortable, maybe get...

Team Ireland!
Team Ireland!
Hi guys, this is definitely the last future appearance series that I'm going to write. So now, let's focus on an Irish princess appearance.

1) Rosanna Davison (Miss World 2003 winner)

She is my number one choice for a princess, I would not mind to have another blonde hair, thus making her the third blonde haired princess.

2) Saoirse Ronan (Irish-American actress)

Another possible choice for a princess, she has an innocent look, especially her piercing blue eyes.

3) Andrea Corr (Irish singer)

She could be the third princess to have black haired, and she has a exotic look for a princess, don't you agree?

4) Bernadette Flynn (Irish dancer)

Another blonde haired princess, and I had seen photos of her with curly hair while dancing for the Lord of the Dance back in 1996. She has the look for an Irish princess!

Irish Princess Calling!

If Disney is lucky enough, maybe they will create a princess from Ireland. Don't you agree?
