I honestly don't think Merida's new look is the end of the world.

I mean there is a petition to get rid of her new look and it is ridiculous and I will tell you why.

1. "she doesn't look real" Oh well guess what SHE IS A CARTOON CHARACTER!

2. "in the movie she was so strong and the new look makes her look weak" But she was still able to climb, do archery, ride a horse, and fight against her dad to save her mother yet somehow because she looks a bit sparkly she is weak. You do know that there are plenty of skinny women who are strong as hell.

3. "this is a bad influence on my child" Okay let me tell you something, the makeover is just for advertisements for the Disney princess merchandise. I don't think a doll/shirt/dress/etc. would have such a negative influence on your child. This is NOT I repete NOT going to change anything that happened in the movie.

4. "but she looks thinner and is showing more cleavage" Baww some more. I don't see any cleavage and I see nothing wrong with being thin. I think that you are just overanalyzing.

5. "b-but she looks different" Well duh that's because in the movie Pixar created her look but the new look is from DISNEY! And guess what? They have different art styles.

This goes for anyone who is complaining about Merida's and the Disney Princesses new looks.

1.Common Dress
1.Common Dress
Hi, I hope you are enjoying my list and are looking forward to my explanation of Belles dresses from Beauty and the beast. The second Renaissance princess and someone whon doesn't start as a princess but a normal woman. By the way with all honesty I've not seen the sequels so if there are any different dresses I've missed that you would like me to discuss comment on it and I'll explain on the next article.

1. Common dress
Belle leaves her house she shares with her dad and wonders round the town singing so beautifully, in a dress worn by a normal person in France about that time. Yet already it's...

This article is inspired by ace200's and anukriti2409's articles! I just thought it looked like such a fun thing to think about I couldn't help writing one myself. :)

1. If I changed my name...

I would change it to Merida! It's such a beautiful, nontraditional name, and is a variant of the Celtic name Mairead, which I have long been a fan of. Mairead also means "pearl," which is my favorite gemstone.
Runner up: Briar Rose

2. I would want my parents to be...

James and Eudora! They are such wonderfully supportive parents who do everything in their power to ensure their child has a fulfilling...

Hi everybody!

In this article, I'll be pairing each Disney Princess with a celebrity active during the time of the DP's movie release.

Snow White: Gene Tierney

They both have roundish faces, dark hair, a cute smile, and a reputation for outstanding beauty.

Cinderella: Grace Kelly

They both have blonde hair (albeit Cinderella is more of a strawberry blonde), and similar noses IMO. And both are icons of elegance.

Aurora: Kim Novak

It was actually very hard to determine who Aurora's double would be. There were so many blonde actresses in the 1950s - mainly because movie studios were...

The Most Elegant Disney Princesses

I really like elegance, so I decided to make a list of the most elegant princesses. Turns out less than half of the princesses are really elegant. Keep in mind that I didn't just rank them based on how they act, but also on how they look and my first impressions. Also just because someone's royal, it doesn't mean they are elegant. (like Prince Harry) I apologize in advance if this article is poorly written.

13) Rapunzel

When I first saw Rapunzel, I didn't think she was elegant at all and when I saw Tangled, turns out I was right. She doesn't act or look elegant,...
