I left all nostalgia behind so my list changed a lot. I guess it's also because when I first joined Fanpop, I only knew the Princesses on the surface level and I based my opinions on that. I also had to re-watch all the movies, I hope it won't change again for a while. I'm sorry if I offend anyone, but I'd love to argue if you disagree :) I like all of them so it's hard for me to put some at the bottom. Anyway, here goes.

If you had a chance to change your fate, would you?
If you had a chance to change your fate, would you?
11. Merida
Typical spot for Merida, sorry but someone has come in last. I'm not going to judge Merida for her actions but I simply don't like the tough girl attitude. I like that she wanted to ''change her faith'', I just wish she would've been less rude about it.

The ONLY way to get what you want in this world is through hard work.
The ONLY way to get what you want in this world is through hard work.
10. Tiana
I think Tiana lacks something that all the other Princesses have. The movie made being a workaholic her big flaw... It's very hard to relate because I'm lazy. Plus, the movie sends mixed messages but I'm not getting into that but a lot has to do with the movie really. Nonetheless, everyone should be more like Tiana.

But they say if you dream a thing more than once, it's sure to come true, and I've seen him so many times.
But they say if you dream a thing more than once, it's sure to come true, and I've seen him so many times.
9. Aurora
I love Aurora's subtle personality. She's shy, graceful, feminine and a big dreamer. I don't mind that she's sort of a blank slate but I just don't find her particularly interesting. I like that she put duty over love but I still prefer a Princess who is stronger, emotionally speaking.

And for once it might be grand, to have someone understand, I want so much more than they've got planned.
And for once it might be grand, to have someone understand, I want so much more than they've got planned.
8. Belle
I love Belle, I really do. But I never related to her on a personal level, everyone goes through feeling like an outcast at least once in their life. She has a lot of qualities, some that people don't usually mention. Like how she knows exactly what she wants in life, she often has herself well put together. She is pretty deep too, if you really listen to Belle Reprise.

Please, try to understand. I've never done a thing on my own. I've never had any real friends.
Please, try to understand. I've never done a thing on my own. I've never had any real friends.
7. Jasmine
I love how outspoken Jasmine is and how she always stands up for herself but I just don't like how she always puts up with Aladdin's lies, it bothers me. She was my favorite my entire childhood so she'll always have a special place in my heart. I still love her to pieces, I've just come to love the other Princesses more.

There's nobody like him, anywhere at all.
There's nobody like him, anywhere at all.
6. Snow White
I love how optimistic Snow White is as I'm quite pessimist. She taught me that no matter what happens, I'm the one who can ''build my world with sunshine''. Her simplicity is what makes her so charming. She is adorably naive and bossy and loveable and just everything sweet in this world.

Oh, I understand, but... it's more than I ever hoped for.
Oh, I understand, but... it's more than I ever hoped for.
5. Cinderella
If I could be like any Princess, I would want to be more like Cinderella; kind, sweet and emotionally strong. She's so beautiful in every single way. She did take a chance to go to the ball! She got help from her friends because she has worked so hard all her life and didn't lose hope. She is thankful for everything that she has, I love her, she's truly an inspiration.

We don't have to fight them! There must be a better way.
We don't have to fight them! There must be a better way.
4. Pocahontas
Pocahontas is indecisive and not very smart in my opinion. She is always confused and she always mopes around. But those are the reasons why I love her so much. Choosing your path is never easy and I can definitely relate to that. She really struggles, she doesn't have the answer to everything and always seeks advice. I also like how even when she has found love, she still decided to stay with her people, she follows her intuitions.

I've never seen a human this close before. Oh... he's very handsome, isn't he?
I've never seen a human this close before. Oh... he's very handsome, isn't he?
3. Ariel
Ariel might be reckless but I think she's a great flawed character, she always tries. Just by the way she expressed herself, you see how much she wanted to become human. She goes after everything that she desires and I love her for that, her love for beautiful things is endearing and she's very charismatic.

What if it's not everything I dreamed it would be?
What if it's not everything I dreamed it would be?
2. Rapunzel
Rapunzel is so bubbly and cute, I can't help not loving her, like I just want to give her a hug haha. She doubts herself like everyone but she's very smart and very multi-talented, I admire how she kept herself busy in the beginning. But also how she was able to grow out of her insecurities and stand up to Gothel in the end.

Maybe I just wanted to look in the mirror and see someone worthwhile... But I was wrong... I see nothing!

1. Mulan
While having a lot of flaws, she also has many great qualities; she's extremely brave, funny and selfless. She succeeded in the army using her brain. She grew and improved so much during the movie. She was insecure and she messed up because she didn't know who she was supposed to be yet. I always struggle with trying to ''find myself'' and trying to please my family. She's the Princess I can relate with the most and I admire her so much. I love Mulan for her personality and for her actions.

Who do you choose? Live-action reboot or Animated???
Who do you choose? Live-action reboot or Animated???
So, since Disney has release 2 live-action reboots of their Disney classic animated feature. Here is what I think about which movie is better, as well as their animated counterparts.

Cinderella (1950 & 2015)

I would definitely go for the live-action version, as mentioned in my previous articles. Ella has more personality compare to her animated counterpart, and of course, less screen-time for the mice.
However, no Bruno the dog! Also, no songs in it. I wish it was, but on the other hand, the producers and Kenneth Brannagh didn't want the movie to be to close to its original 1950 animated...

Hi guys, since Frozen has took the world by storm, this article is basically about my initial impressions about the story-line, the songs and music, as well as the art and characters' designs back in 2003, 10 years before the movie that took the world by storm.

The Story

When I first heard that Disney was going to adapt the Snow Queen, my first impression was that it was going to be faithful towards the original story by Hans Christian Anderson. Secondly, I thought that it was about 2 sisters who one of them discover to have ice powers, according to a prophecy, were separated since they were...

Hi everyone!

In this article, I’m going to compare two movies from the Disney Revival, one revolving around a lost princess with magical golden hair, and the other revolving around two sisters, one of whom is a queen with ice powers.

Part A.    Which is the "better" movie?

Tangled has a more cohesive plot and seems to me to have deeper characters that interact superbly with each other. Emotions and thoughts were successfully conveyed with an abundance of facial expressions. The hair animation was astounding, but the skin and eyes could sometimes seem plastic-like or lifeless....

12) The Princess and the Frog
I'm not positive but I think this has a somewhat large fanbase on Fanpop? Even if it doesn't, I don't think that I'll ever adore this film. I'll start with the positives. I LOVE Down in New Orleans and basically the whole beginning. When Tiana is human, it's actually very entertaining. I adore Lottie, and it just is, for lack of better word, better during this part of the film. It's funnier and much, much less obnoxious. I like Facilier and Tiana and Naveen is hilarious at times, but the second half of the film...oh lord. It's so annoying...half the time I can't...

I find that Snow has the opposite problem as Elsa: she is frequently just typed as a sensor (because you know, she's all traditional and not adventurous and likes to cook and all that boring sensor stuff, right?). There's a lot of bias and stereotyping with MBTI fans, and I used to be guilty of it too (OK, sometimes I still am). though to be fair, I think Snow IS a little underdeveloped in ways, so she could really be interpreted either way. However, I'll explain why I think she uses Ni over Si.

Extraverted Feeling (Fe): No doubt about it, Snow White is warm, caring, and a social butterfly....

This is my ranking of the princes. This is probably going to be one of my harder articles so please don't be rude.

12. Hans- I can't even describe how much I dislike this character. I hate the idea that the handsome prince has to be a jerk. One of the things I really hate about Frozen is that it mocks the love at first sight of the Walt era princess films. Yes you don't marry a guy you just met but I think most people are smart enough to know that, it's just common sense, yes there is no such thing as love at first sight but that's because they're fairytales and fairytales aren't suppose to...

“Rapunzel” is the kind of story that consistently ranks highly in people’s lists of their favorite fairy tales. With a dramatic plot, interesting characters, symbolic motifs, and the underlying theme of the redeeming power of love, the tale certainly seems to deserve such adoration. Grimm’s version of the story is perhaps the most known retelling,
Grimm's Rapunzel
Grimm's Rapunzel
although that may have changed as of 2010 with Disney’s adaptation, Tangled, a movie just as rife with symbolism as its literary inspiration. Although both are variations on the Rapunzel narrative, Disney’s movie veers...

Here's the 2nd part of my favorite Disney Princess Christmas/Winter Outfits and this time I'm counting down the outfits seen in promotional images, they're quite many so I have to divide this part into 2 parts, this part covers placements 35-21 and the 2nd part of this covers all the remaining placements, this list was really hard to make, most of these outfits are lovely
Note: the collage here shows Disney Princess outfits that didn't make it into the article because they're already shown wearing it or it looks too similar to another outfit they wear

So I didn't use any 1 prince twice and I tried to match everyone to their best match outside of the original. This is inspired by the wonderful job of link article. She did an amazing job pairing them up! Such an amazing job that it made me want to try myself. Hope you guys don't mind, this was just for fun! The absolutely ❤️amazing❤️ crossovers were done by a multiple of talented users on this site. I, myself only knew 8 out of 24. Who knows, you might know more than me or know less than me. Either way enjoy reading and absorb the knowledge!

Trivia

1) Art director Brian McEntee color-keyed Belle so that she is the only person in her town who wears blue. This is symbolic of how different she is from everyone else around. Later, she encounters the Beast, another misfit, also wearing blue and with blue eyes. It symbolized good in the film whereas red symbolized evil (the color of Gaston's shirt is red). A notable exception to this code is Gaston's blue eyes - making him the only Disney villain...

After seeing Sweetie94's prettiest disney princess list, I wanted to make one of mine as well. I'm not really a fan of the beauty of modern princesses, I find them rather too doll types, somehow. So they are all ranking low on my list. Hope you'll enjoy it, here it goes:

13. Elsa:
Eh, are her eyes for real? Way too big on her face and her lips are so thin. She does have that barbie doll kind of look to her. She has an unbalanced face proportion, her upper portion of face is too big as compared to the lower portion and that gives her an unnatural look, imo. I quite like her hair though, snow blonde,...

So yesterday I wrote an article about the Scariest Moments In Each DP Movie IMO, today I'm going to write about the Top 10 Scariest DP Movie Moments IMO, I'm also going to write an article about the Scariest DP Movies. You'll probably recognise some moments from my previous articles, but there'll be new ones too so I hope you'll enjoy this article

10. Mordú

I'll just copy what I said in my previous article: This bear is really scary looking imo especially with all of those arrows on him and the eyes are creepy too and his dark look also helps making him more scary. Now his death isn't...

Unlike my favorite Disney Princess list this list hasn't changed so much, but I still felt like writing an article about this because not only has it changed, it's also been a while since the last time I wrote this article. I find all the princesses pretty, but I have prefrences, for example I prefer the more realistic looking princesses so don't be surprised if most of the bottom placements are the cartoony looking princesses. Anyway enjoy this article

13. Jasmine

I've never really found Jasmine beautiful, she's pretty though. If I where to base this on color scheme only she would be much...

Last time I wrote this list Brave and Frozen hadn't been released so now I'll write this list with them included, hope you'll like it

12. Pocahontas

This scene is amazing to look at, no wonder many people loves this ending, but why is it then last on my list? While it's an amazing scene to look at it isn't a happy ending, normally I don't mind it, but Disney is known for making happy endings so honestly if this movie was made by another company and was live action I probably would love the ending more

11. Mulan

This ending starts off great with Mulan reuniting with her father and Shang...

So here is the Part 2 to my musical countdown: Scores. I love Disney music and I honestly love the scores over the songs. They have all of the "magic Disney" feel that I absolutely adore. Also, I love how the scores can provide a blend of the different songs from it's respective films as well as stir up all of the emotions and/or memories from it's respective scene(s). For those reasons, this list was much harder for me to make than Part 1: Songs, but I managed to finish! As I mentioned before, I cannot get enough from the musical team of Alan Menken and Howard...
