I've noticed that characters and relationships are discussed in great detail on this page where a lot of the Disney Princesses are ripped apart. Well as much as I agree to a lot of whats being said I think to kick-start my first time writing an article on this page I would start out on a positive note.

Snow White
For starters she is the one who started it ALL. Disney's first and most anticipated movie was hers. For years he dreamed of recreating this wonderful fairytale that is so incredibly enduring and timeless that here we are on fanpop talking about it all the time. The best thing about Snow White is her innocence by far. She represents true childhood imagination and willingness to help others such as the dwarfs and little lost baby bird. She also holds this grace that allows her to take care of the situation and also permitting her to be sassy and hilarious in nature. Yet, she is sweet and sincere about her emotions and never lets anyone go without leaving an everlasting mark on them.

Cinderella
What can I say besides the fact she is my favorite? While her story is multicultural and appears within almost every society with fairytales, the incredible portayel Disney created is beyond words. Like Snow White hers is a story where she is a maid in her own home, yet Cinderella represents so much more than a girl waiting for her prince. She represents REBELLION and being smart and sneaky about your life, as she hurries back to her house. To be honest, I don't understand how this movie is anti-feminist as the main protagonist and antagonist are both women and represent the roles they play in society. And besides in Cinderella's case, staying with her step-family was the smart thing to do as she most likely would have become an indentured servant or worse. She also represents elegance and as a little girl seeing her twirl around in her sparkling gown, I hoped one day too I could amount to having that much beauty and confidence in my step just as she created.

Sleeping Beauty
She makes at least top three for me and here's why.... A lot of you seem to think she's just the pretty princess that sings in the forest and just falls in love and sleeps. And there's also this crazy idea this movie is the most anti-feminist of all! Surpassing those previous biases is the idea that Aurora does indeed represent beauty but more importantly SELFLESSNESS. That's right... I'll let that sink in. I recently gained a lot of respect for her when I realized she just gave up the love of her life for duty of being a princess.... something she had no clue of until that very moment. Imagine meeting the fourth person you have ever known, falling in love with this beautiful stranger, and then being told "HA, Nevermind you get to do this now." Heck, I'd cry. Not to mention the fact she would be leaving the life she always knew with no idea of anything else. She doesn't deserve any of the crap she's given. As for it being feminist, nuh-uh. This movie is about THREE POWERFUL WOMEN helping a boy defeat another POWERFUL WOMAN. I'm just sayin'.

Ariel
This little mermaid was one of my favorites growing up. I absolutely love Ariel pages on facebook because they can make her look so awesome in ANYTHING (except maybe real life impersonations, which I never accept). For me she represents what people need to do more often, go after their passions and dreams and for some reason everybody seems to think she did everything for the sake of a silly prince. I'm sorry but did she hoard all of her collection for Eric? Did she sing a musical number about how much she wants a boyfriend? Ehhh, not really. It was about being human that she truely craved. I honestly believe that Eric was the final straw, she had to be human! And when she was crying after the boat left I think she was heart broken but I also think she realized she was never going to be human ever again and then of coarse being a... a worm thingy. But she fought for what she wanted and finally got it because of the love of her father and hers of Eric.

Belle
"She really is a funny girl that Belle" I think I love her for being an individual despite what people expect from her and basing her actions on what is best for her father before herself. I love the selflessness that the Renaisance Disney created for her making her so much more in depth and a much more beautiful person. I love how she loves books and stories, and ughhh she's fantastic. For me she represents giving people second chances and that people actually can change. All of the musical numbers give me chills and this movie definitely deserved its academy award!!

Jasmine
I love how Disney chose to add her to the line up despite having her movie be about someone else. She proves to be an inspiration to multicultural kids that you don't have to be white to be a princess. I completely respect her motives to marry for love not instead of living her life unhappily. Yet, she is so clever and smart to know who Prince Ali really was and to tease Jafar in order to help Aladin.

Pocahontas
For starters, her movie has some of the best, most emotional music that sets her apart from all of the other princesses. I absolutely adore "Just Around the Riverbend" and "Paint with All the Colors" more than a lot of the music in the other films because the music races making me want to race. I love how her and John Smith begin a love affair despite it being a historical inaccuracy. I believe they're the only biracial couple who show how different people can still love each other despite their differences. Although I don't agree that relying all judgments on your heart is a true message I do value the idea perpetuated that you must acknowledge your emotions or be unhappy. Which is what I'm sure the creators meant but "follow your heart" sounded better.

Mulan
I definitely have some mixed feelings about this one. Throughout the entire movie, she gives me this feeling that she knows her motives in saving her father but it seems that as the movie progresses her motives evolve and she doesn't know how to treat them while she's a soldier. Yet, I cannot bring myself to say that there isn't one thing about her I don't like. Like Belle, she puts her entire life on the line for family giving us the knowledge that she really doesn't care about living her life comfortably, but willing to give it up for love and honor. She also brings in head strong feminist characteristics such as being able to make as much (or more, in her case) of a difference as any man could.

Tiana
The main reason I love her movie like crazy is because it happens in New Orleans and it shows the very real transition of equality for black people of the 1920's. I can't help but love Tia as a little girl when she screams at seeing the frog and runs to get her parents as nearly everyone did. My favorite scene with her is the "Engeline" dance with Navene where I think they fall for each other. I'll be honest with you, I don't completely understand the purpose of the movie all the time but as of right now all I can get from that story is that being successful in achieving your dreams is'nt worth it unless you have someone to spend it with... as well as honoring the idea of moderation between work and fun.

Rapunzel
So besides being able to impersonate her voice quite well, if I do say so myself, I think I have a lot in common with her. For starters we do a lot of random things when we're bored and cooped up in the house and the fact our innocence blinds us from the world. But I don't have abusive parents so that's how I know she isn't my clone. Oh and I don't have freakishly long, blonde hair. But still, I think her movie was about having faith in people and your dreams. Her faith in Eugene works out for the best for her when she finds out he loves her back and her faith in her dream led her in the direction of who she was... a princess!

Merida.
So the first realistic princess ever in all of Disney gives little girls the chance to see and accept themselvs for who they are. It also give girls the idea they don't need a man to be happy... just a loving family that cares for them will do just fine. I love whatr Merida represents: individuality, independence, adolescence, love and CURLY HAIR. It's fabulous despite the fact Merida would never use that word.

I REALLY WANT TO TALK ABOUT ANNA AND ELSA BUT I HAVEN'T SEEN THE MOVIE YET.... WAH.

So as of now my article is done. I hope allof you enjoyed it and see some of the misunderstood ones differently!! (;

I apologize if everybody is getting tired of these articles, but they are super interesting and I'm excited to write mine! Thank you dimitri_ for starting this awesome idea for an article! On with the show!

I would change my name to Belle!

It sounds so pretty and I like the way it rooks off your tongue. It also is spelled really pretty (weird thing to say about a name) and I would love writing it on homework and such.

I want Pocahontas' athleticism!

I am not the most athletic person in the world and I really suck at sports. It would be great to be more athletic or at least hate sports less.

I want...

I saw Emmalou13 and dimitri_ do this, and I just had to do it as well! So enjoy!

1. I would change my name to Elsa
I have been obsessed with this name ever since I first heard about Frozen. It's just so pretty, and it would sound really good with my middle and last name :)

2. I would have Rapunzel's painting skills
Or, like her everything skills, because she's so good at everything. But mostly painting, that would be great. Or her cookie making skills, those look absolutely delicious.

3. I would want Tiana's mom
She seems so supportive of Tiana. Beside's, she's an epic dressmaker!

4. I would want...

I had good news and bad news. The good news was that I was going to Disney Academy. The bad news was that I had to leave Agrabah and Aladdin. I was sure that Aladdin would know that I need to be schooled and he would understand that, but it was so hard too say goodbye. I walked up to him and sucked up my tears.
"A-Aladdin." I stuttered. "I really need to tell you something."
"Sure." He said. "What is it?"
"I've been a-acccepted in D-Disney Academy. Th-That means that I h-have to leave y-you." I couldn't take it, and bursted out crying.
"Aww. Jasmine, I'm happy you get to go to Disney Academy....

"I can't belive I'm stuck with her as a roommate while you guys get to room together." Hattie said during lunch on the first day of school. "I mean really. She never makes her bed, she has so much stuff that my stuff can't take all of the drawers and her clothes take half the closet. Granted I do most of the above but its still unfair."...

She was walking fast, shouting about the piece that must be made between hers and English people. Standing for many hours and going up and down, trying to take people’s attention with slogans among with a group of other English people, she felt exhausted, but nothing was stronger than her will, so she did anything but stopped. Peace was a vital issue for the happy living of both sides of the river, so she joined a group of idealists In Jamestown and kept her traditional Native American cloth to show, that peace can be made by both living...

Cinderella rushed downstairs to show her ballgown to her stepmother and stepsisters and the stepmother was impressed, but the stepsisters wheren't impressed, they tore the dress to pieces until the stepmother called them to her and so they left without Cinderella. Alexandra and Etica had seen what had happened so they went out to the garden where Cinderella was and she was heartbroken, but Alexandra tried to make her happier.
"We can make a new and better ballgown for you and we can fix a new hairstyle so that the stepmother and stepsisters won't notice you", she told Cinderella.

Lizzie was making great time. Ben's horse had been galloping the whole way back to Bayern. The only time they had slowed down was when they ran into a very old woman with a black cloak. Now it was almost daybreak and they were getting close to the parts of the woods that Lizzie was familiar with. Soon they were at the fence by the practice field and Lizzie was back on the palace grounds. She rode onto the practice field and jumped off the horse when she saw a stable hand and gave him the horse. The stable hand looked confused but Lizzie didn't have time. She ran towards the palace and took...

Dear Diary,
Life couldn't be sweeter. I'm five months pregnant now. I don't feel sick anymore. My stomach grows a little bigger each day, and the child in it grows stronger. Auguste swears it's a boy, but he doesn't know anything! My heart tells me it's a girl. A sweet little daughter. I have always longed to have a little girl to read my favorite stories to, and share secrets with. She will be my best friend. I cannot wait to meet her. To hold her in my arms. To take in her sweet smell. To kiss her precious face. I can't wait to love her. Auguste makes fun of me, but lately I have started...

Lizzie wondered how she hadn't thought of this before. Sure it was a bit of a leap of faith but she had no where else to go. She had read the books and been up and down the ladder about a hundred times and still had not found much of a clue. She climbed up the ladder and picked up the last book. It was her last hope that she had. Then it was there!

"The tale that I had always thought was simply a child's tale is true. Last week I went on a hunting trip with several of my closest friends near the kingdom of Corona. I went off on my own for a moment to find a drink of water. When I got off of...
