I've already made an article like this for link, link, link, and link, and thought it was only right to do one for the amazing Pocahontas. Pocahontas has gone through a roller coaster on my list, most recently being 10th on my list, but I've always loved her. When I first came to the club, Pocahontas was my second favorite, and she's finally joined back into the top 5, now coming in at 4 (3 if you don't count Elsa). Well anyway let's get starting with me talking about why I love Pocahontas!

Pocahontas is great in many ways, but I think there was one instance that really struck me as remarkable, and solidified my love for her. That scene is the one when Nakoma tells Pocahontas that she sent Kocoum after Pocahontas, which ultimately got Kocoum killed, and John Smith sentenced to exile. Pocahontas could've back-lashed, but instead she says, "This is all my fault!" I find that extremely admirable, and something that is often over-looked when people describe her. It's a unique trait to Pocahontas, since most princesses would've either back-lashed, or cried, Pocahontas admitted that she was the one that got everyone into this, and wasn't in the least mad at Nakoma. I found that astounding, and oh so refreshing. Also, even after this mess, Pocahontas just doesn't mope around. She takes responsibility, and realizes that she's the only one that can stop this. She's very proactive, even if a bit slow to get there.

Nakoma in general just brings out the best in Pocahontas. I absolutely love the opening scene we see of Pocahontas, where she's standing on the rock, having one of her infamous dramatic poses, and dives down into the water. It shows how adventurous and fun she is. Then, we get to see her spit water at Nakoma, which I loved seeing. I love how her relationship with Nakoma is light-hearted and fun, yet they can rely and trust each other, and they know what's best for one another. I love how there are so many traits to Pocahontas. She doesn't fit into the cookie cutter "fun" princess, but neither does she fit into the "serious" type princess. She has characteristics of both, which I find really fun and interesting to watch. Pocahontas handles herself with such elegance and grace, but at the same time jumps off cliffs, how awesome is that? Also, although she has knowledge that really is foreign for her age, she still makes mistakes, and isn't superwoman.

Another aspect that I love about Pocahontas is how I relate to her. I've come to see more and more that we're similar in many ways, and it's a bit surprising, as I used to think how could I relate to some Earth-Goddess that runs around in the forest and is awesomely amazing, but I do see some similarities now. We're both extremely indecisive for one, and I love how Pocahontas has such a tough time picking which way is her path. The compass scene where it points her to the right direction is such a powerful scene in my opinion, since it symbolizes how Pocahontas finally knows her path. I love how Pocahontas isn't scared to take the path less followed, and how she welcomes change. That's something that I wish I could do, since often I feel I'm stuck in a rot and can't get out. Pocahontas lacks some common sense, since she doesn't even try to explain to her father the situation, but I find that's a quality that makes her more realistic, and human. Sometimes something is starring me straight in the face, but I wait till it's almost too late to do anything, since I'm scared that something might go wrong, and Pocahontas is clearly the same. I'm glad they gave this trait to Pocahontas, because many fictional characters in general just seem to figure everything out way too quickly and unrealistically.

All in all, Pocahontas is amazing. She's a fun character that really is more than the eye can see. She's very responsible, realistic, relateable, elegant, and more. I love how she takes ownership of her action, isn't perfect, and how she is both fun, while having a serious side that gets her points across. Pocahontas is a wonderful princess, and she definitely deserves her long awaited spot in my top 5! Thanks for reading, and expect another article like this either about Mulan, Jasmine, or Rapunzel soon! :)

Most people would agree that each of the Disney Princesses are individually unique. While most people take their stories and personalities into consideration, few tend to recognize that they each have an individual artistic style. Even though over the years their lineup has homogenized to create what we might consider Classic Disney, the design of nearly each princess was in fact inspired with a specific artist or art style in mind. I believe this is the je-ne-sais-quoi people have a hard time attributing...

Facts about Cinderella

1.Cinderella is the second Disney Princess, joining the franchise in 1950, after Snow White in 1937.

2.Cinderella is the first Disney Princess to be seen as a little girl, before Tiana in 2009 and Rapunzel in 2010.

3.Cinderella's hair color has often been the subject of debate among fans. In the original film, Cinderella's hair seems to be of a light orange tone, classifying her as either a redhead or a ginger as her hair had been offically called 'burnt orange'. In the franchise and in the Disney parks,

4.Cinderella's hair is publicized as bright yellow, making her a golden-blonde,...

In honor of Valentines Day coming up I'm making a list of my top 14 favorite love songs from animated movies. Starting with my least favorite, number 14, each day I will add a love song I like and on Valentines Day I will reveal my number one favorite love song from an animated movie and this article will be complete :)

14. One Song - Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

I really like this song because it's so romantic but it's kinda dull compared to my other favorite in my opinion...But I'm totally in love with the lyrics like
'One heart
Tenderly beating
Ever entreating
Constant and true'
that...

Okay so some of you might have read link. At the time, it seemed to me like there was a group of very intolerant users who would only be offended if I wrote such an article. (Weird, I know, since many people write this article but I still didn't want the tension or drama.) Since I wasn't sure how to write a "physically beautiful" list without offending anyone, I didn't write that article and wrote one that I thought had better ideals: an overall attraction with looks, personality and demeanor combined. That being said, I do love the fairy tale versions of Princesses who were always the "most...

As I mentioned in its first part that this article is for those princesses who got their wedding in original or a sequel. I have re-imagined the gowns for all the princesses as honestly, I don't quite like the ones Disney has shown. The dresses lacks the effort as much as they deserve in my opinion. A princess wedding gown should be thoroughly thought through and designed. Cinderella's and Mulan's are by far the only wedding dress that actually fits their personality the most, in my opinion.

So here's my selection of the re-imagined wedding gowns for the remaining princesses.

When I comment on one pick and other fans wonder why I say so, it inspires me to make an article to explain more in the best way. I find a lot similarities of Elsa with Periwinkle (Secret of the Wings), Ralph and Vanellope (Wreck-it Ralph), Zarina (The Pirate Fairy), and Maleficent (Maleficent).

John Lasseter's Blue and Spikey "White" Hair

Similarities between Periwinkle & Elsa:
- Both have ice power
- Both ice are spreading quickly like fire (okay, not definitely Periwinkle's ice but ice from Periwinkle's place)
- Both have white hairs, or whatever platinum blonde which looks...

For such a successful and expensive film, Frozen's complete lack of diversity (particularly ethnic diversity) really vexed me. Frozen has four main human characters and out of the four:
- Four are white
- Four are all apparently straight
- Three are blonde
Looking at this, you can tell there is very little variation in Frozen's main cast. In ethnic terms, there really is no excuse of this. Frozen needed more POC.

I have heard one main argument (read: excuse) why Frozen didn't have any racially diverse characters (and no: I am not counting black background characters). Some say that Frozen...

One of the articles on my to do list and I went with this one because I knew it wouldn't take me too long to make it. Anyway this is my personal opinion on the best Disney Princess singing voice and I have a feeling most will disagree with me but that's kind of something I'm used to.

12.Merida
Peigi Barke
Peigi Barke
It turns out that Merida actually does sing in her movie, well sort of. Young Merida sings Noble Maiden Fair with her mother, which is a beautiful song. Now her voice is nice for a little kid but it can't compare to the other voices obviously. Also sorry to break it to you guys but we don't...
