So, as a lot of you probably know I recently did a countdown for the most lust-based DP couple. Merida is eliminated by default, and I didn't include Frozen, so we'll be looking at ten couples. Anyway, without further ado, let's begin!




10. Snow White and The Prince
For tenth place the only real contenders were these two and Mulan/Shang, so much so that there was a tiebreaker. But, even though they kissed while the latter couple didn't, people found this couple to be less lust-based because of the youth and innocence of Snow White and, to a lesser extent, The Prince.


They are way too asexual to be based off of lust. Mualn was at least attracted to him initially.

Snow White and Prince's relationship is not based in lust any way. It's true love of the purest kind. Now, I don't think Shang lusted after Mulan, but I think she got interested in him because of lustful reasons - him shirtless and all.

Mulan/Shang aren't lustful in general but Mulan is far more lustful for Shang's bulging biceps than Snow/Prince are of each other.

9. Mulan and Shang
Since they almost left last round, people found it fitting that they be eliminated this round. People wanted these two to go for mainly the obvious reasons: the fact that there is no kiss, no 'I love you', basically no romance or lust.


Mulan thought Shang was hot but that was it. It was only for a brief moment. She then concentrated on more important things. Their relationship was more based on their friendship than anything.

Mulan and Shang or Belle and Beast should go out. Neither really loved each other in a lustful way that the other couples do.

8. Belle and Adam
Although there was no tiebreaker, this round the two contenders were this couple and Rapunzel/Flynn. But in the end the former left because they seem to fall in love over a longer period of time, Belle doesn't really judge on looks and Adam only ever mentions her beauty once, and, of course, he was a BEAST for most of the time!


Rapunzel fell in love with the first guy she met. Pretty lustful to me. Tiana fell in love with him when he wasn't being a "oh-so-charming" prince and being a man she could see herself with. The perfect man who saved her and watches over her. Lustful.

Belle and Adam/Beast fell in love over the course of several MONTHS, not days, MONTHS. They got to see each other at their worst and at their best. To me, that proves they aren't lustful

Belle fell in love with a BEAST. Hardly any physical attraction there.

7. Rapunzel and Flynn
A lot of people thought that these two should have left earlier, but it took them until seventh place to get eliminated. People mostly voted them out because they didn't actually like each other when they first met, much less lust after one another, and because neither of them ever actually mentions the other's looks.


Clearly some of these are extremely biased, but anyways. These two should have left two rounds ago. The looks has like no value in their relationship. They only bonded with then socializing and realizing how they change one another for the better and have something worthwhile. Looks aren't even hired in this unlike the other two that did not deserve to leave before this one.

C'mon, they're the least lust based couple imho! Clearly, they began not liking each other, neither saying a thing about looks, than slowly as they spent time with one another and as they learned more about one another, they fell in love. No false feelings at the beginning, which is extremely rare for a DP couple imo.

6. Tiana and Naveen
People probably voted these two out a round or two after they should have left, based on Naveen's flirtatiousness. But eventually they left at sixth place, mostly because of the obvious frog factor, but also because they have an honest love that doesn't really seem to be based upon lust.

Gonna avoid stating the obvious and just say Naveen doesn't seem to fall for her until he drops the lechery and develops an honest love for Tiana, and Tia in turn doesn't seem interested in him in either form and also develops a very chaste love for Naveen.

I also think Philip and Aurora come at a close second because their love also seems very innocent and chaste.

5. Aurora and Phillip
This couple's place on the list kind of shows the participants opinion of them: unsure whether or not they are a lustful couple or not. A few people thought they should have left earlier because of their story's similarity to Snow White and The Prince's relationship, but for the most part people thought that fifth was a good place for this couple.


They're not all that lustful. They come across as more romantic to me - singing in the woods, holding hands, resting their heads against each other.

I'm confused to why Snow and Prince left round 1, when they are in the same case scenario as these two...

^ dclairmont I suspect it's because of the emotional intimacy and familiarity of Aurora and Phillip's interactions (they dance together, hold hands, and cuddle under a tree), coupled with Aurora's more mature and elegant appearance and demeanor than Snow White (who does come across as more cute, innocent, and childlike by comparison).

4. Cinderella and Prince Charming
There were very few comments this round, but all the comments were for them to leave. I suppose it was just because the top three is way more lustful than this couple.

3. Aladdin and Jasmine
Basically everyone seemed to agree with this top three, but I'm not sure anyone really knew who was the least lustful out of these three lustful couples. But Jasmine and Aladdin eventually left because they seem to be a bit less based on appearances alone.


Perfect Top 3. All of very lustful. But I think Aladdin and Jasmine a little less out of the three of them

The three have a lust component, but I feel this couple is the one that is least leaned on that. You don't feel so much tension between them, as with the other two cases.

2. Ariel and Eric
It was very nearly a tie, but almost inevitably these two left so that Pocahontas and John Smith could win. Although the general consensus is that lust is a big factor here, it wasn't so much so that it won the countdown.


Eric and Ariel should have left before Aladdin and Jasmine.

Sure, Ariel wanted to know Eric, but he got to know her as a friend before he realised she was his mystery girl. Poca and John are extremely lustful

You don't lust over someone's voice, that's different. Eric wasn't even interested in Ariel at first, couldn't even kiss the girl when the moment was perfect. Ariel was, that's what kept me from voting for them but between these 3, I think they are definitely the less lust-based.

1. Pocahontas and John Smith
Quite a few people, including me, saw this coming. When most Fanpoppers think of 'lust' it is these two who come to mind. Pocahontas' attractiveness kept John Smith from shooting her, and Pocahontas was anything but chaste with her foreign love interest. Basically, the two most certainly deserve first place!
