Who doesn't like a good Disney Princess song? I know I do, and I've seen some other fanpoppers do this article, so I decided that I'm going to count them down for y'all! I wanted them to be ranked, but it was much too difficult. So, I'll go by chronological order. Let's get started, shall we?

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs: I'm Wishing/One song
This was probably the most difficult movie to choose, as I love all the songs in it SO much. But, this one has always been one of my favorites. Snow's voice sounds so gorgeous in this, although I love her voice in all the songs she sings. The Prince's voice though, gahh! It is amazing! Maybe the best out of all the princes, it's just asdfghjkl. The animation in this song looks really good by the way, just wanted to point that out. Everything is just perfect, and it's definitely one of the best classic songs.

Cinderella: Sing Sweet Nightingale
When I was little, I used to dance all over my house and sing this song, pretending I was Cinderella. Of course, I sounded more like Drizella, but the nostalgia is still there. When Cinderella sings this, it's the most beautiful sound, sweet as sugar, and so soothing. When the stepsisters sing it... yeah not so much. But Cindy still sounds great, and I sing it all the time.

Sleeping Beauty: Once Upon a Dream
I know, I know, popular choice, but what can I say? This song is perfection, clear and simple. Mary Costa has an operatic voice that leaves me so happy, and Bill Shirley's voice, man. Amazing. The animation is WOW, especially Aurora's dress. And that chorus in the background is just great.

The Little Mermaid: Poor Unfortunate Souls
This song is pure awesomeness, and not just because of my undying love for Ursala. I love how it starts out as a nice waltz type song, and then BAM! It gets loud, crazy, and energetic. I was going to put Vanessa's song on here, but it's to short, and though it's amazing, it just can not compare to the amazingness of Poor Unfortunate Souls. And also, BODY LANGUAGE!!!! HAH!

Beauty and the Beast: The Mob Song
Why don't people talk about this song more often? It's a damn good one, and deserves much more recognition. It's very enjoyable and fun to sing along to, but it's also very creepy at the same time. And Gaston's voice isn't great, but there is that scary tone that makes it really enjoyable. All in all, it's an awesome song that needs all the love it can get.

Aladdin: A Whole New World
This is probably my second favortie DP love duet, after Once Upon a Dream. It's so pretty, and though I find Jasmine's speaking voice to be annoying, her singing voice is wonderful! It's sort of the opposite with Aladdin though, not that his voice is bad, just not great. Anyway, I'm listening to it right now, and I'm loving it. It's just great. I don't really know what else to say, it's just a really great song.

Pocahontas: Savages Pt. 1 and 2
This song is chilling, man. The first part is great because it shows both sides of the spectrum, the hatred and confusion of both the Englishmen, and Pocahontas' tribe, which is an interesting change. In the second part, where they prepare for John Smith's death, and Pocahontas is running to save him, it always sends shivers down my spine. This song is what made me love Pocahontas again, and for that I am very grateful.

Mulan: Reflection
This is the sole reason Mulan isn't my least favorite princess. It's so powerful, and Lea Salonga sounds even better as Mulan than as Jasmine, if that's possible. I relate to this song a lot, and I just wish it were longer. I don't like the Christina Aguilera version as much though, it doesn't work. It's a song that I absolutely love, and that probably will never change. Ever.

Princess and the Frog: Down in New Orleans
Another difficult choice, but I love this song way to much to not include it. It's one of the reasons why I want to visit New Orleans so badly, or at least travel back in time and go to 1920's New Orleans. It makes it seem so warm and inviting, and that singer sounds pretty dang awesome, too. The reprise and prologue are great too, but I love this one more.

Tangled: Healing Incantation
I am seriously obsessed with this song. I love how when it's first played, it's haunting and creepy, and then mystical and mysterious, and when she's singing it to Eugene/Flynn after he died, it's so heartbreaking and breaks your heart. Mandy Moore works this song so much, and imo, it's her best performance in the movie.

Brave: Noble Maiden Fair
This may be my favorite song of all the princesses, it's just so calming and pretty. Emma Thompson's performance is amazing, and I love Gaelic, so this is almost perfection to me. The scene is so touching and sad, Merida remembering the good times she had with her mom. Not much else to say, it's just a very calming song. Also, I love how it sounds in Japanese and English, almost as much as I love it in Gaelic <3

Frozen: Frozen Heart
Why do people not like this song? The first time I heard it, I fell in love. But, I guess I always have unpopular opinions when it comes to Frozen XD Anyway, I love how it basically foreshadows the entire movie, and those ice men have got some awesome voices. Also, we get baby Sven, which is probably the cutest thing ever, like Oh my god! This is a song which is absolutely amazing, and needs way more love, please D:

So, that was my song article! I hope you enjoyed, and remember to leave a comment if you agree with anything, or even if you agree with absolutely nothing.

I used to give into the hype and I still like her but I've recently realized that she's not that strong or effective of a villain. I've never seen the Angelina Jolie live action movie and quite honestly I don't think I ever will. This is all based on the original Sleeping Beauty.

Now, Maleficent definitely has the classic villain personality (sinister, petty, arrogant) and aesthetic. (she can turn into a dragon, and green fire is cool) She's one of the most quotable and meme-able villains in all of Disney. In fact, I think she's the one who really perfected the look and feel of a "Disney Villain"...

I'm actually looking forward to watching this a little more than I did when I had to watch Maleficent. This remake may not live up to the standards of the original but personally it's always been enjoyable to watch.

How much did I like this movie as a kid?
The first time I watched Cinderella I did like it and there were some changes I liked but then there were some changes I really had to question. Even with the problems I have with this movie I still like to watch it every now and then.

How much of this movie have I forgotten:

Since the...

This is another sequel I haven't seen in forever. Longer than forever, actually. I would say I'm excited to watch this but after Pocahontas II: Journey to a New World I'm not looking forward to watching this one.

How much did I like this movie as a kid?
The beginning of this story is exactly the same as the one about Pocahontas 2; I wasn't into the original that much when I was a kid, but then this cartoon Disney movie with familiar faces came out, begged my dad to get me a copy, fin. But unlike Pocahontas 2 I actually did...

Here's the article for Pocahontas!

I know in the past I've made comments about how I don't like this movie because it's been said that the tale of Pocahontas saving John was a lie and I've also said I can't stand Pocahontas and John together because it's gross Pocahontas was aged up for this movie. However I will watch this movie and just enjoy it without thinking about those things.

By now you should all know what I write about in these articles so I'll just go ahead and start!

Tonight's rewatch: Pocahontas

Tangled is my favorite Disney movie for many reasons besides the wonderful storyline and beautiful imagery. I really relate to Rapunzel in so many ways. I try to be optimistic and see the beauty in the small things in life. I try to stay hopeful and occupy my time with many hobbies. I have so many interests and love learning about them and learning about the world and other cultures. We also share physical features, brown hair and green eyes, and prefer walking outside barefoot. I also have some German heritage, so I relate to her that way as well.

My mother also acts a lot like Mother Gothel....

While it hasn't been confirmed, various clues have pointed to Moana eventually joining the Disney Princess lineup. This process only involved 20+ users, which I think is a good thing, we'll save the BIG survey for after Moana's official coronation. That's why I didn't ask for comments or use fancy pics. Since the pool of users is so small, I wouldn't say these results are absolute and concrete. This is just a small preview of where Moana as well as the other princesses stand.

Now with all the issues, people have with Disney, one of the films that have legitimate grievances is Pocahontas. And as you can imagine, because there ARE legit grievances to be had with Pocahontas, sites like Tumblr have an absolute field day with it. Personally, the more research I did on the situation around this film, the more I was actually fascinated by it.

I know it's easy to write this movie off but how it came to be is a lot more nuanced than you think. It actually was gonna be a story closer to what happened in history but then Jefferey Katzenberg's overwhelming desire to get another...

Though not nearly as much as Merida and other revival princesses,Tiana is occasionally bashed for contributing to Disney's current trend of "meta", "woke" commentary with her whole "hard work, you can't just wish" shtick. While this does irritate me, I try to separate film makers' intentions from the actual context of the movie and the character.

In the first act of the film, she's portrayed as diligent and determined but she's not as in your face about it. For the most part, her thing is "partying and dancing just isn't my for me". She's not insistent, condescending or critical of others for...

As asteriamalfoy recently reported on the club wall, it appears that Moana will soon become the newest member of the Disney Princess lineup. The club's reception to the news is a mixed bag, which is the latest example of how the general Fanpop opinion (namely, this club's opinion) doesn't always match that of the internet. It's interesting why that is, and I will attempt to find the reason here.

Before going forward, be aware that everything that I consider an "opinion" of Fanpop and/or the internet is a generalization. True, there are some users on both this website and the rest of the worldwide...

I finally worked out how to do this. My mistake was mixing too many languages together which made it impossible to translate it back into full English. That's why Snow White's paragraph came back with only one sentence. I've done a remake of it with funny results including Cinderella and Aurora's stories.
