This was inspired by Princesslullaby's List(s) that everyone wants to read, it's probably the article I've read the most often. Though I'm not going to talk about score or animation because I feel those subjects need to be analysed a different way. This was a challenge for me, I found it impossible to do. And I know, my list changed once again. It's like it automatically shifts on its own every 5 months. But this time, I tried to be more objective and fair, I don't know if it's the right thing to do because I think with my heart sometimes. But I'm pretty confident so here goes nothing!

13. Merida

I do not hate Merida even if it might seem like I do, what I hate is the trope she represents. On surface level, she might seem like one of the most feminist Princesses but to me, she is a misrepresentation of what feminists are. For example, the men in Brave are oafish which doesn't scream gender equality but I'm not going to start a huge rant. Now on to the things that I like about her; she teaches me that I am in control of my own destiny and that when I'm unhappy, I should fix it which I think are great lessons.

Movie: N/A
Overall Soundtrack: N/A
Attractiveness: Merida She can look stunning, but those are small glimpses.
Singing Voice: N/A I don't think it's fair to compare with Merida's toddler singing voice.
Prince: N/A
Villain: N/A
Couple: N/A
Outfits: Pocahontas It suits her and her mom's necklace makes the outfit.
Sidekicks: N/A
Attractive Prince: N/A

12. Aurora

Aurora is sort of a blank slate, which is interesting because you can build your own theory with her character and all those theories make sense. Maybe she is a philosophy savant, maybe she is a confused character that just found out her entire life was a lie... the possibilities are endless. However as you can see, my theory on her doesn't come out all that great.

Movie: Brave It's kind of Aladdin meets Pocahontas meets Brother Bear in my eyes.
Overall Soundtrack: Brave The score is beautiful but I don't listen to it in my spare time.
Attractiveness: Snow White She is pretty.
Singing Voice: Snow White It's cute but when she hits the high notes, it's not pleasant to the ears
Prince: N/A
Villain: Mor'du He leaves the smallest impact on me.
Couple: N/A
Outfits: Snow White Iconic & Cute
Sidekicks: Tiana Even Lottie couldn't save the day.
Attractive Prince: N/A

11. Rapunzel

Rapunzel is adorable, bubbly, awkward, creative, etc. She has multiple hobbies, she grows out of her insecurities, she stands up to Mother Gothel, etc. Not implying that those are bad traits in any way, I greatly value intelligence and getting involved in activities that interest you, but that's just a bundle of characteristic traits that don't necessarily mean anything to me.

Movie: The Princess and the Frog The frog scenes drag on but I do enjoy all the other scenes, which isn't a lot but still.
Overall Soundtrack: The Princess and the Frog I like Jazz but the score is uninspiring.
Attractiveness: Tiana She's beautiful, even more so in her concept art look though.
Singing Voice: Aurora It's angelic but I'm not much of an opera fan.
Prince: John Smith Too much of a stereotype... and he skipped important stages in character development.
Villain: Ratcliffe He wears pigtails and wants to be covered in glitter. I think that explains his placement.
Couple: Pocahontas/John Smith Pocahontas completely reshaped John Smith.
Outfits: Merida The Scottish details on her main dress are lovely, her lighter dress has an awful design though.
Sidekicks: Pocahontas Their supposedly cute animal scenes are annoying, I can only find a liking in Percy.
Attractive Prince: Prince Even when I ignore the lips, his looks are not all that great or detailed.

10. Elsa

Elsa kind of falls into the same category as Rapunzel. What I mean by that is that her aspirations are very vague; Let it Go could be applied to anything really, just apply the song to what you are doing right now. And that means she is universally relatable while not even having precise desires. So because of that, I can't get in touch with her character as much as other Princesses. She is much more a character I have a girl crush on because she is mighty and majestic.

Movie: Cinderella The rags to riches story is done best, though the movie lacks excitement.
Overall Soundtrack: Sleeping Beauty The score is remarkable. As for the songs, I only like Once Upon a Dream.
Attractiveness: Rapunzel Her eyes, lips and long blonde hair are all very pretty.
Singing Voice: Anna Sweet as pie!
Prince: Charming I don't think he's a jerk for the eyeroll, though we don't SEE him do much in the movie.
Villain: Lady Tremaine Even for a villain, she is too despicable.
Couple: Anna/Kristoff The problem is that Anna's heart belonged to Hans for most of the movie.
Outfits: Rapunzel Cute outfits with great details.
Sidekicks: Aurora Honestly, I've always been annoyed with how silly the 3 fairies were being, only Fauna is tolerable.
Attractive Prince: Charming Not bad, just very generic Ken doll looking.

9. Snow White

Okay so Snow White is a simple character, what you see is what you get. And that explains her placement on my list. I don't see why I wouldn't like for her optimistic attitude and her upbeat sweetness. But at the same time, the Princesses that are above her are above her because they have more interesting layers to their character. Not to say that there is not much to Snow; she's manipulative, bossy, insecure, etc. She has a lot of personality and anyone who says otherwise be hatin'. Well that's okay, Snow White will just brush it all off with a smile and a song.

Movie: Pocahontas The script is poorly written but other aspects in this movie are top-notch.
Overall Soundtrack: Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs Cute
Attractiveness: Anna So freaking adorable gaah.
Singing Voice: Rapunzel I love the bubbly and breathy quality of her voice.
Prince: Naveen I'm not a big on the player that turns into a one-woman man.
Villain: Evil Queen Her motivation sets her apart, but she has such a bland personality.
Couple: Jasmine/Aladdin They are a shallow couple when I think about it, but lusting and wooing over each other works with them for some reason.
Outfits: Aurora I love her ballgown... BLUE, her peasant dress is plainly pretty to me.
Sidekicks: Merida I don't remember why I would like them but I don't remember why I would dislike any of them either.
Attractive Prince: John Smith He's good looking, no doubt.

8. Belle

I think the writers were trying to make Belle the most likeable character possible as she is idealized for today's standards but her movie is set in a time period where women couldn't start ''getting ideas and thinking''. Where I live, you won't hear anyone going ''Holy hell, a hot girl that reads... how peculiar!''. Au contraire, non-readers are generally viewed as uncultured people. I still think she is pretty great though. Along with many other goods in Belle, the fact that she can look past the exterior is something special in the psychologically shallow society we live in.

Movie: Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs Walt wanted to see how well he could animate making this movie so it's mostly filler but it has a good set of everything.
Overall Soundtrack: Beauty and the Beast I don't think the songs are all that, the score is another thing though.
Attractiveness: Belle Her looks have got no parallel.
Singing Voice: Cinderella So so so sooothing!
Prince: Beast He's only selfless when it has to do with Belle but I like how he is a clueless romantic.
Villain: Jafar He's entertaining but I wonder how his brain functions at times.
Couple: Tiana/Naveen I have this strong feeling they won't last, but it's nice that they learn from one another.
Outfits: Belle Simplistic and pretty
Sidekicks: Rapunzel Their humor is not really mine but I did laugh a couple of times.
Attractive Prince: Beast Beautiful eyes and body! Although, his looks confuse me, he can look ugly then handsome the next minute.

7. Tiana

Tiana works her fingers to the bones to achieve her dreams. I get a little tired about hearing I need to work hard to achieve great things because I KNOW that, but it's not something I actually do. She used to be in my bottom 3 for a while because it's like her restaurant was the only thing she ever talks about, I felt like that's all there was to her. But at least she slowly learns that other aspects in life can be as important, like love for example. I like how the movie shows that all work can be just as bad as all fun, you need to find a balance in your life but never forget to value hard work.

Movie: Frozen I'm aware of the plot holes, but they don't depict from its amazingness.
Overall Soundtrack: Aladdin Arabian Nights and Prince Ali are fantastic songs, the others are not quite on the same level.
Attractiveness: Aurora She is perfection, from head to toe.
Singing Voice: Ariel It's sweet, pure and has a perfect tone.
Prince: Kristoff He lacks strong characteristic traits, but he is a likeable fellow.
Villain: Hans I would've liked it better if he wasn't the villain but I do like this jerk.
Couple: Belle/Beast The scene where Belle leans on Beast AAhhh.
Outfits: Tiana So many outfits, so little time.
Sidekicks: Anna Olaf is funny but he butts in too much, Sven; I don't see why I wouldn't like him.
Attractive Prince: Phillip He's decent looking but nothing special.

6. Jasmine

Jasmine can go on bitch mode at times and some people might be intimated by that but that's one of the reasons why I like her. She deviates from your typical Princess but that doesn't mean she shows traits that make her less worthy of one. Yes, a girl can have a temper while simultaneously being good-natured... yes, Jasmine is a nice person. One of my issues with her is that she gives up too easily. You know, like when she goes back to the palace life she was so miserable in after one try of running away... Although, that does make her more human and less of a Superwoman, it still makes it harder to admire her.

Movie: Beauty and the Beast I love its morals, how everything is well thought out of and how it's more than the eyes can see.
Overall Soundtrack: Cinderella The songs are just like a lullaby, although I'm more into fast-paced songs.
Attractiveness: Elsa Jaw-dropper
Singing Voice: Tiana She hits all the high notes, I can't get enough of it.
Prince: Prince The way he serenades Snow White and searches for her everywhere is incredibly romantic, he needed more screen time.
Villain: Shan Yu He sends shivers down my spine, I just wish we knew more about his motives.
Couple: Snow/Prince They were made for each other
Outfits: Ariel She was making a fashion statement.
Sidekicks: Snow White The Dwarfs are all great, except for Dopey.
Attractive Prince: Naveen Mmmm 8P

5. Cinderella

No matter what Cinderella's steps throw at her, she never stoops down on their level and she doesn't let her spirit be broken. She endured years of abuse and the way I see it from a realistic standpoint... you can't always do what you please, you sometimes have to suck it up and wait. And when opportunity came knocking, Cinderella opened up the door, took a chance and went to the ball. I have no patience whatsoever so Cinderella is one of my role models, she's my symbol of hope in a way.

Movie: Sleeping Beauty It's an artistic masterpiece.
Overall Soundtrack:Tangled Like everything in this movie, the scores are so well done. The songs are quite good too.
Attractiveness: Ariel Her facial expressions are what makes her a beauty, there's so much light coming out of her eyes and smile.
Singing Voice: Pocahontas Such a wide vocal range!
Prince: Aladdin Even though people have to call him out for his lies all of the time, he does have redeeming qualities.
Villain: Maleficent She can sure hold a grudge and ANYTHING will motivate her.
Couple: Aurora/Phillip Phillip went through fire for Aurora and he would do just about anything for her.
Outfits: Jasmine Comfortable, sexy and accessorized
Sidekicks: Belle Cogsworth's smart sense of humor is tasteful, the others are alright.
Attractive Prince: Eric Dreamy eyes and Superman hair... LIKE!

4. Pocahontas

I love that a lot of Pocahontas' personality traits contradict themselves. She is dutiful but her heart can rule her over at times and that leads to her needing guidance from a talking tree because of her confused self. She feels as if she has lost herself trying to follow the right path, I find the journey she goes on to find that path fascinating. She can annoy me, like when she wasn't being straightforward with her feelings towards Kocoum. Or even when what she has to do is obvious, she always waits until the last minute to take action. Although, the love I have for her still outweighs the problems I have with her character.

Movie: Tangled I love this allegorical tale, the storytelling is very unique.
Overall Soundtrack: Frozen I love most of the songs, even Fixer-Upper.
Attractiveness: Mulan She looks absolutely gorgeous when she is deep into her thoughts.
Singing Voice: Elsa Sensual & Unique
Prince: Flynn So he's kind of just some cocky charming guy in the beginning of the movie, but the well interpreted back-story changes everything.
Villain: Gaston Everything he does to Belle disturbs me in a subtle malicious way.
Couple: Cinderella/Charming A good representation of love at first sight, I like the way Charming's face lights up when he sees Cinderella.
Outfits: Mulan I adore the color schemes of her dresses.
Sidekicks: Ariel Sebastian is awesome, the others are okay.
Attractive Prince: Kristoff He's got the honest goods.

3. Anna

It's incredibly refreshing to see a Disney Princess who is desperate for love, I thought I'd never see one again. Since all of the newer Princesses are supposedly ''independent'' girls. Not that there's anything wrong with being independent, but there's nothing wrong with yearning for true love either. It's also understandable why she would feel that way, being cooped up all her life. Something else I find amazing about her is that she always believes in Elsa, even when Elsa constantly shuts Anna out the door. When she had to enter Elsa's ice palace, you could see on the look of her face how worried she was her sister would reject her again.

Movie: Aladdin It's very much a product of its time, but the 90s were the best.
Overall Soundtrack: The Little Mermaid All the songs are iconic and fun to listen to.
Attractiveness: Cinderella She is so classically beautiful, I'm surprised not more people see it.
Singing Voice: Jasmine It's crystal clear.
Prince: Phillip I love his diligence and the way he stands up against his father to marry a peasant girl.
Villain: Dr. Facilier He is not objectively a good villain, but it's the aura he generates...
Couple: Ariel/Eric I like that they enjoy each other's company so much, while not having a perplex dialogue.
Outfits: Anna I especially love her accessories.
Sidekicks: Cinderella She has the most helpful sidekicks.
Attractive Prince: Aladdin His handsome smile and tousled hair get to me.

2. Ariel

Ariel can be irresponsible, reckless and a little bit selfish. I think all of those flaws make her all the more amazing. Hey, at least her intentions were good! She ended up getting everything that she ever wanted and made her father's prejudice views on humans aloof. Ariel is fearless, she lives HER life and doesn't settle for anything less. She's even the one that goes after her Prince and not the other way around, it's nice to see a girl meets boy love story every once in a while. She is a risk taker who breaks boundaries and that why she will always be special to me.

Movie: The Little Mermaid It's so Disney magical, from the uplifting sequence to the heart-warming ending.
Overall Soundtrack: Mulan Though not large in quantity, I think it is truly great in quality. Short Hair is my absolute favorite score.
Attractiveness: Pocahontas She looks like a Native American Angelina Jolie, which is gorgeous.
Singing Voice: Mulan She sings Reflection with so much passion.
Prince: Eric He learns to love Ariel who is full of flaws and quirks, forgetting about the dream girl that's been on his mind, realizing a real girl is better than that image.
Villain: Mother Gothel She constantly brings Rapunzel's self-esteem down so she won't leave the tower while making her believe it's mother's love.
Couple: Mulan/Shang Shang loves Mulan for her personality. The level of respect they have for each other is more incredible than romance in itself.
Outfits: Cinderella Feminine, noticeable, graceful
Sidekicks: Aladdin I might not care for them individually but they are a great team.
Attractive Prince: Flynn Extremely roguishly handsome

1. Mulan

Old habits die hard, I don't even know where to start with Mulan. By now, you're probably tired of hearing me talk about how much Mulan means to me, so I'll try something different with her. Well, I've always felt uncomfortable having her as my favorite... since I am Asian myself. It might be the reason why I can identify with her character but regardless, it has way more to do than what ethnicity she is. She taught me that maybe my time to bloom will come later and maybe it's in a different unexpected field. And that even if I fail so badly that my General wants me out of the Chinese army, that doesn't mean I should stop there. I also learned how important it is to stay true to who I really am, seeing how unhappy Mulan is wondering when her reflection will show her true self.

Movie: Mulan It's action-packed and gets me emotionally involved.
Overall Soundtrack: Pocahontas Farewell tugs my heartstrings, every other piece is powerful.
Attractiveness: Jasmine She doesn't have perfect features but her features come together perfectly.
Singing Voice: Belle I am in love with Paige's divine voice, it has such a rich tone to it.
Prince: Shang He is not intimidated by Mulan's intelligence and his ego doesn't get bruised when a girl can beat him at manly things.
Villain: Ursula She is smart, calculating and truly is a presence on screen.
Couple: Rapunzel/Flynn I love how Flynn opens up to Rapunzel and how she told him she liked Eugene more than Flynn which eventually made him remove the mask he was wearing all along.
Outfits: Elsa She does not joke around when it comes to outfits.
Sidekicks: Mulan Eddie Murphy as a dragon... who could have even thought of that? And Khan is the best Disney horse.
Attractive Prince: Shang He's really cute and he has an amazing body.

A Disney Tale: A young princess narrowly avoids death on the command of her evil stepmother. She shacks up with a group of mining dwarves but the stepmother finds her and puts her to sleep with a poisoned apple. The dwarves put her inside a glass coffin until a prince comes and kisses her, releasing her from the spell to live happily ever after.

Disney Heroine: Snow White is the first Disney princess, but having viewed this around the same time as Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty (my daughter is going through a Disney Princess phase) I would argue that those princesses are what we think of when...

Finally, after my European coverage made it to the front page of Fanpop. Here are the delegates from the Americas and my final opinion on my favourite Let It Go rendition!

English (Voice Actress: Idina Menzel)

The original version that started it all! I started to know Idina in Disney's Enchanted and from what I've heard is that there was a 'deleted' song written especially for her in that movie, I was really disappointed that it did not make it to the final cut.
Then, my younger brother got the original Broadway cast of Wicked and I was blown away by Idina's rendition of Defying Gravity and...

My top favorite princess has got to be Elsa. I love her so much because of her ice powers and popularity. In every store I go to I see something Frozen. I like that a lot. That is why I love Elsa. Also, The colors in the movie along with the graphics are amazing because it looks so realistic. It is also amazing how Elsa's ice palace looks so cool and fits with her. It's just amazing. All of the other princesses are good too but elsa is the best one and the most powerful. I hope you all subscribe! And make sure you visit my page!

So, I saw that there were a lot of "getting to know you" articles, so I decided to make one myself!

My name is Molly. I live in the Midwestern United States, which I am proud of. We Midwesterners are tough! We can get a huge thunderstorm or lots of snow and be like, "No big deal. We get this all the time!"

I am in advanced classes at school and usually get straight A's. My favorite classes are.... pretty much all of them, except P.E and art! (I love art, but I don't really enjoy the activities in art class, and my fellow students act very immature in those classes.) I realize I sound like a...

My Original Thoughts

I absolutely loved Ariel. I can't really go in depth about it, because when I first saw it, I was really little. (Prolly about 5 or 6) But my feelings were pretty straightforward: she was a MERMAID & was pretty & a unique princess. I mean, I kinda wanted to be her. Who wouldn't want to live under the sea? I never really understood why she wanted be a human, though, because a mermaid was freaking amazing in my mind! Something...

As the sun settled down into the sky, Ariel watched as steam poured out of the crock-pot the cook was using. It made a popping noise once in awhile from all the boiling it was doing, which made her jump. She was curious, and wanted to ask what made it do that. But, she couldn't. Not after she gave her voice away. She touched her throat a bit, until someone pulled on her back. She turned her head to see the maid, short and plump, grumpy faced.
"You should be getting ready! Dinner's only in less than thirty minutes."
Ariel had a strong urge to fight back and tell her she couldn't boss her around...

Merida tossed and turned in her sleep. Flashbacks of that dreadful day had entered her mind. She was standing in her castle in front of Rapunzel and The Queen and Princess of Arendelle arguing. Suddenly, The Queen lost control and unleashed her powers. "ELSA, NO!" Anna cried out. But it was too late. Fergus was turned to frozen stone.

Merida let out a faint and brief scream as she sat up with a fright. She looked around and saw she was in the log cottage on the Jamestown territory. "Oh... Just a nightmare." Merida said to herself. She then heard both John and Shang snoring softly. Shang was...

I could get fired for this. I want to keep this job more than anything.

Afterwards she called her friend Ariel.

"Who are you?" Ariel asked.

"I'm your friend, Merida." Merida responded to her.

"I don't have a friend named Merida." Ariel replied back.

Merida hung up the phone. She then went to call Ariel's father to see what was going on.

12. Brave
If you've known me over a year ago, you'd know that I'm not much of a Pixar fan. Yes, I know I'm an awful person for discriminating between animation studios and this is Pixar we're talking about. So yeah, I'm guessing this is why I can't get into Brave no matter how hard I try, considering it's also one, if not, my least favorite Pixar movie.

Maybe it's just nostalgia, but I absolutely adore this movie. It was my childhood favorite when I was a little kid. I watched it so many times I couldn't count it, and it was my favorite movie ever.
