After reading laylastepford's "Get to know me" article I decided to redo mine from a few years ago. So here it this!

Name: Angelica
Age: 23
Birthday: July 15
Relationship Status: Have been single my whole life and I'm in no hurry to ever change that
Ethnicity: Canadian; French and some type of Native American on my Mom's side; I'm not to sure about my dad's side (he's adopted), but I'm pretty sure there's some Italian and German.

My Life
Growing up I lived with just my Mom and what ever pets we had at the time. My dad left my Mom when she was six months pregnant, which my Mom has always said she didn't care that he left but it's how he left that really hurt her (my Mom's a really honest person and believes greatly in being honest). The fact that my dad just left instead of sitting down with her and explaining why he felt they should break up really hurt her. Anyway, I'm glad my Mom and dad aren't together, my life would have been wrost off.

Both of my parents are the youngest in their families (my Mom's a twin, but she's about nine minutes younger). While my Mom has nine siblings (two brothers and seven sisters), my dad had two (one brother and one sister). One my Mom's side I'm the second youngest grandchild, but the oldest on my dad's side. I have a younger half sister (same dad).

Right now I'm living with my Mom, uncle and four pets (three dogs and one cat). While the dogs are more or less shared, the cat is 100% mine (cat decided that a lot time ago). The husky mix is Bluey (he has blue-white eyes and they're gorgeous and haunting); the shih tzu is Nugget; the female dog is Lola; and the cat is Pumpkin.

I have never met my Mom's father (he left when she was four and they never saw him again...and never will since he died a few years ago...Beside, he wasn't a very nice man). My Mom's mom (my grandma) is a tough woman, she's 4'11 but you don't want to cross her. She had to be tough though, she did raise ten kids on her own pretty much.

As for my dad's parents, they have been together since their late teens/early twenies. They just celebrated their 60th anniversary a few months ago. They're one of my favourite couples that I personally know.

So, enough about my family life. Moving on...

I have mental disabilities; anxiety and depression. They had gotten so bad when I was in my mid-teens that I dropped out of school at age sixteen, also because I couldn't deal being around so many people at once. I have a hard time leaving my house and can go about a month without going stir crazy....although that isn't something to be bragged about.

While I now know I'll most likely will never be able to hold a normal job, when I was younger I wanted to be; a vet and doctor (give me a break, I was like seven or eight at the time), a teacher from like eight years old to fourteen, and a writer from fourteen to now.

Hobbies: Reading, writing and being on the internet. XD
Food: Hmm.....probably pasta.
Drink: Chocolate Milk, Hot Chocolate and Eggnog.
Colours: Pink, red and black. Some shades of purples and light blues also.
Movies: Most of the movies I watch are Disney ones, but I'll try to think of a few non-Disney ones. ..... Seabiscuit, Tiny: The Seventh Brother; Rugrats in Paris: The Movie; Quest for Camelot; Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron.
T.V Shows: Buffy, the Vampire Slayer; The Big Bang Theory; Pretty Solider Sailor Moon; Animal Cops The Walking Dead (actually, that last one is more of a love/hate thing....)
Music Artists: Hedley (forever and always); Emily Kinney; Jamie Lynn Spears; Britney Spears. Also some songs from One Direction; Little Mix; My Chemical Romance.
Books: The Heartland series by Laruen Brooke; Guardians of Ga'Hoole by Kathryn Lasky; The Deltora Series by Emily Rodda; Animal Ark by Ben M. Baglio; Dear Canada by many different authors; The Royal Diaries by many different authors.
Animals: I love all animals, but I'll name my very favourites; cats, dogs, cheetahs, wolves, bears (mostly grizzlies), sharks (mostly great whites), horses, cattle and rabbits.

Disney
Well, this part of Fanpop is for Disney lovers, so it just makes sense to have some Disney stuff here, right.
Movies: The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride, Tangled, Frozen, Mulan, The Little Mermaid 2: Return to the Sea, Hercules and Sleeping Beauty.
Princesses: Rapunzel, Mulan, Anna, Aurora and Jasmine.
Princes: Flynn, Kristoff and Shang.
Other Characters: Kiara, Melody, Kovu, Nala, Meg(ara) and Hercules.
Songs: Love Will Find A Way (The Lion King 2); For A Moment (The Little Mermaid 2); I See The Light (Tangled); I'll Make A Man Out Of You (Mulan) and My Lullaby (The Lion King 2).

My Hero(s)
My Mom: Long story short; My Mom went through hell and back and back to hell a few times, but managed to keep coming back stronger each time. She went through a breakdown and had little to no family support so had to get outside help, which really hurt her at the time. But she did it and got stronger because of it.

My grandma: My Mom's mother. My grandma pretty much raised all ten of her children on her own with little to no help with her husband. Even though the old man (what we call my Mom's father) had a good paying job, my grandma had more money after he left and she went on welfare. She got all her children to adulthood and they all were hard workers (whether they were good parents or were good people outside of their working nature is another story).

I think it's awesome to get to know where everyone here is coming from and learn a bit more about them. :D (I think it builds respect and understanding.) I never realized you and I were around the same age. Neat-o! :D I am really sorry about the situation between your mother and father but I think it's super admirable of your mother to be so genuine and straightforward with you. I think it's awesome that the cat chose you! ;) I'm surprised your mom is so small! I hope you don't find that rude of me but it sticks out because I am only 5' and half an inch (between 5'0" & 5'1") so I can relate to the small size but tough spirit. :) (I've also feared I might be too small to have children so that raises my hopes.) I think it's really cute that you wanted to do different jobs throughout your life and I can relate to that because I've considered many jobs as well. (I used to really want to be a detective at one point in my life.) Personally, I think that shows you have an eclectic taste, which I always admire. <3 We have Anna, Aurora, Kristoff & Shang in common as favorites<3 (plus Meg & Hercules whom I adore)! Thank you so much for posting this, it was a pleasure to get to know you better and I know you had mentioned a bit about your homelife before relative to mine so I appreciated you giving more insight to that. :)

Angelica_AW Thanks for the comment, but it's actually my grandma who's 4'11 My Mom is about 5'2.

ace2000 I admire that you talked lots about your life even though it's not all positive - I couldn't get myself to do it in my article, although I'm fine with talking about some of it in comments when it's somewhat relevant. Mental issues kinda run in my family - my dad had an awful combo of bipolar and schizophrenia, his brother had schizophrenia, and my mom's uncle had schizophrenia. I think I have OCD, because from the ages of 5 to 9, I obsessively washed my hands (like 10 times in the middle of every night obsessive), and from 10 on, I had an alternation of obsessions. Recently, I've been able to keep it at bay to a degree by singing "I See The Light" in my head. Probably because it relaxes me. My mom is the one with two siblings (sisters) and my sort-of-stepdad (my mom and he are engaged but are never going to get married) is the one with nine siblings. :) I also love Hercules and The Lion King 2! Anyway, great article. :D

anukriti2409 This is a sweet read! Thanks for sharing more about yourself. Do you find it grand that you have such extended family. I too have a great big Indian family and i absolutely love it. My grandfather also left when my mom was in 8th grade and she's is in middle of the kids, so my grandma raised 5 kids all by her own with home job. I can relate to your story a lot. My dad's side is pretty chilled out in many aspects and orthodox in some other. But i love the crazy stuff that keeps happening around. I'm sorry you have health issues but i think you are strong enough to handle it and will overcome it. have faith in yourself. we have few favorites that are similar but i love all of them - Britney spears, Sleeping beauty, Hercules, Mulan, Kristoff, Shang, Rapunzel, Mulan (princess), The big bang theory, Sea biscuit. PrincessAyeka12 Well we can relate. Last year I was suffering from anxiety, depression and insomnia for about five months. I also have mental disabilities which I was born with. I have a genetic condition disorder.

wavesurf It's good to see an updated article from you!!! I think it was really neat that "Pumpkin" chose you. That part made me giggle, because it was adorable. Animals know exactly what suits them. :) Anyway, I'm glad you shared ( just as PrincessAyeka did) your experiences with your health conditions. Your family heritage is interesting. And you are already coming to terms with your own identity, so that's a blessing. Hmm. We both love Mulan, Shang, Hercules, Megara, and Rapunzel. I was watching Heartland "the TV miniseries" based off of the books for a while... and then I got busy and stopped. But that show was fun, so I'm guessing the books are, too. I'm also an anxious person, and an insomniac. Sleep just is something I never can get enough of. I think this has to do with some emotional abuse issues I developed in my relationship with my mother, that were specifically tied to sleeping. The last time I vaguely remember sleeping through the whole night was back in the early part of my childhood. As for childhood dreams, from ages 11 - 17, I thought I was going to be a children's illustrator and a writer. ( Um, truth is, that never happened. I can draw and write stories, though. But my mother ragged on me about these interests of mine, and she has discouraged that part of me, so I don't do it much anymore). From around the ages of 17 until I was 29 years old, I thought I would go to med school and become a doctor. From 29 years old until early last year ( when I became 31), I thought I was going to be a Forensic Scientist/ Researcher. That got scratched off the list, too. Now, I'm hoping to go to school ( four the fourth time in a row) and become a nurse. All this is to say, Angelica_AW, that life is really full of decision-making...and you're not the only one who has had a succession of interests at different periods. Great article!!

Angelica_AW Sorry for the late replies! #tired XD @ace2000; I actually don't mind talking about about my life. It may not always be the best, but it's [i]mine[/i] and I wouldn't change anything. My Mom has mental issues too. We're not 100% sure about my dad, but my Mom and me think his birth day was doing drugs or something like that while pregnant with my dad. So he probably has some type of issue(s) too. That's pretty cool that your mom and step-dad have the same number of siblings as my dad and mom.. My Mom's side isn't very family oriented, and one of my aunts is very stuck-up, and my other uncle (the one that doesn't live with my Mom and me) doesn't like bring around anyone. I wanted a rabbit once and her response was; "Learn as much as you can about rabbits and then we'll see about getting one." I never did the learning, so I never got the rabbit. She was always willingly to work with me as long as I met her half way. If I didn't, then I didn't get what I wanted. Anyway, thanks for all the replies everyone! I forgot a couple things I wanted to add (favourite animals and my hero[s]), so look for that if you want to! :)

PrincessAyeka12 I was put on anti-depressants 10mg, started to slowly taper off them. Officially off the medication about Jan/Feb or March time this year. My sleep patterns went back to normal. But my anxiety stayed on. This anxiety was different and worse than my social anxiety. With this one I had all of the symptoms (feeling hollow inside, etc) and I was worrying everyday. I think I finally recovered in June-July or September this year.

A. I know everyone has different opinions on each princesses and where they should be listed. This is my list and you don't have to agree but I hope you enjoy and learn more about me.

I just find her bland, uninteresting, boorish, and all of that. She may be sweet, cute, and kind, but to be honest, she was very forgettable and was a bit annoying. Little to no development. She also fucking took the broom while her animal friends did the toughest shit when cleaning the dwarves' place.

My Favorite Scenes From Each Film

Well as you can tell by the title these are my favorite scenes from every movie. Some of these were really hard since I love a lot of these movies a lot. I'm not sure about you guys but for me it's hard to read other people's because I go "No this scene is better" or "Why that scene?". Some films it's just to hard because they're all great. Well, Top Ten Lists are very popular here – but I decided to do it a little bit different, mostly because I don’t think that there is an infinitive list for me. It’s more that I like some movies and characters more and some I like less. So I put the movies in three categories: Top, Middle and Bottom.

In general, I hate movies with plot holes – but concerning Disney Princess movies, I’m much more forgiving about logical lapses in the classic ones than in the ones from the Renaissance era onwards. Not because of nostalgia, but because the premise of those movies...

An Enchanted Christmas Review

Hi guys, this is actually my personal review and opinion the Beauty and the beast sequel. If any of you guys want to comment about it, please voice it out.

First of all, I want to talk the movie overall. I didn't really like it because I felt that the animation was amateurish and cheap despite being a prequel. Especially the Beast and Belle because they were not like from the movie.

The music I have to say that it's not memorable, but there one song I actually like and it's As Long as There's Christmas. So there was no problem for me, the others were not as good as the original and no Alan Menken.

Not to forget, Forte was a little bit of a manipulative psychopath. Because if he doesn't want to be lock up. Then what's the point of preventing the Beast from loving Belle?

The movie itself is very scary and predictable, especially when Forte appears and with Tim Curry's voice. I would recommend you guys not to watch this movie for those who have NOT seen it!
