Ksenia Sukhinova (Miss World 2008 from Russia)
Ksenia Sukhinova (Miss World 2008 from Russia)
Hi guys, I have been wanting to write this article for a long time, since I'm also a beauty pageant fan myself too. I thought that it would be interesting to write about which Disney Princess do they look like and why. If you guys have your opinion, you're most likely welcome to write it down! Here are some of my favourite Miss Universe/ Miss World winners and their striking resemblance to the Disney Princesses.

Ksenia Sukhinova (Miss World 2008, Russia)

This Russian beauty has combo of Cinderella and Princess Aurora, but most likely the latter because of their similar facial features and long hair. The way she smiles is like 10% of Cinderella with 90% of Aurora.

Kaiane Aldorino (Miss World 2009, Gibraltar)

She reminds me a lot of Pocahontas and Jasmine, this is mainly because of their skin complex. I have to say that Kaiane is actually prettier than Pocahontas, but she has 20% of her features!

Riyo Mori & Zhang Zillin (Miss Universe 2007 & Miss World 2007, Japan & China)

They definitely resemble Mulan! Especially Zillin from China, I was so happy that they were together in Mexico City back in 2008, and I keep thinking of them as Mulan. How I wish that either one of them was cast as the live action Mulan in the Disney reboot!

Stefania Fernandez (Miss Universe 2009 from Venezuela)

She is like a combo of Anna and Belle, due to their smile and hair colour. She's a slim version of Anna in a way, but she definitely resembles Belle the most. In fact, she could be like a hispanic sister to Belle!

Rosanna Davison (Miss World 2003 from Ireland)

Another dead ringer to Aurora! Although I prefer Elle Fanning's portrayal in Maleficent, I think it should have been Rosanna as Aurora instead. In fact, Rosanna should have been Aurora's sister or cousin, I felt she looks more like Princess Odette too!

Amelia Vega (Miss Universe 2003 from the Dominican Republic)

This is the most difficult one, because she resembles Snow White and Jasmine. Mainly because of her eyebrow and the way she smiles, also due to their exotic features!

Azra Akin (Miss World 2002 from Turkey)

Her chubby face resembles Snow White, but she is another combo of Cinderella and Belle. She is one of the underrated Miss World winners in my humble opinion, despite that she's one of my favourites!

Natalie Glebova (Miss Universe 2005 from Canada)

She is like an elderly sister to Snow White, I love her slavic features (she's a Russian-Canadian, like Natalie Wood who is a Russian-American)! She should also play as Snow White's mother too, if Disney ever made a reboot of the princess that started it all.

Rolene Strauss (Miss World 2014 from South Africa)

A combo of Elsa and Belle, her facial features, especially her eyes resembles Elsa while her hair resembles Belle.

Priscila Perales (Miss International 2007 from Mexico)

The only Miss International favourite from Mexico, she's another combo of Snow White and Belle. Mainly due to their facial features and hairstyle, but on the other hand, she's way prettier and cuter than Snow White!

Megan Young (Miss World 2013 from the Philippines)

She's resembles Cinderella, Snow White and Anna, the way she smiles is like Cinderella. While her chubby face resembles to both Snow White and Anna. A perfect combo!

Alexandria Mills (Miss World 2010 from the US)

She has Aurora's hair and looks, her eyes are Belle, nose is like Cinderella. She could play Aurora soon!

Conclusion

I thought that it would be interesting to bring this subject to a Disney Princess site, like I said. If you disagree or if you have an opinion. You may write it down here!

Now I want to rank DP wardrobes. First I will tell about my style preferences.

My favorite colors: purple, more or less every shade of blue( but especially turquoise) and green, pink, white, black, grey.

Using link my favorite styles are romantic and creative. My least favorite one is for sure trendy, I'd also say I'm mostly not a fan of dramatic. I have mixed feelings about classic style: I tend to dislike it in its purest form but I can like some elements of this style when they are combined with elements my favorite styles.

My favorite historical fashion eras: Renessaince, la Belle Epoque(...

Tangled is my favorite Disney movie for many reasons besides the wonderful storyline and beautiful imagery. I really relate to Rapunzel in so many ways. I try to be optimistic and see the beauty in the small things in life. I try to stay hopeful and occupy my time with many hobbies. I have so many interests and love learning about them and learning about the world and other cultures. We also share physical features, brown hair and green eyes, and prefer walking outside barefoot. I also have some German heritage, so I relate to her that way as well.

My mother also acts a lot like Mother Gothel....

While it hasn't been confirmed, various clues have pointed to Moana eventually joining the Disney Princess lineup. This process only involved 20+ users, which I think is a good thing, we'll save the BIG survey for after Moana's official coronation. That's why I didn't ask for comments or use fancy pics. Since the pool of users is so small, I wouldn't say these results are absolute and concrete. This is just a small preview of where Moana as well as the other princesses stand.

12. Merida-178 points

To the surprise of literally no one, Merida is dead last. Often criticized by DP fans and...

I know I did this countdown a couple months ago and I said a couple months ago I was gonna do the article when I had free time, I just didn't know I wasn't going to have any real free time for a few months. But, look! Now I've finally done it! Yay! Sorry for the wait, guys!

10. Merida fighting Fergus and Elinor fighting Mor'Du

Merida fighting Fergus was a brief fight, it was just her stopping him from killing Elinor. The excitement doesn't really start until Mor'Du comes in and is getting ready to kill Merida then Elinor goes full on mama bear on him. The reason I like this scene so much...

We all know the tale as old as time that is Disney's 1991 animated film, Beauty and the Beast. It was a smash hit when it came out and was the first animated film in history to be nominated for best picture. It wasn't nominated for best-animated picture because that category didn't even exist back then, it was nominated for best picture PERIOD! It didn't win but that was still impressive because an animated film being nominated for best picture was absolutely unheard of. It's still a beloved classic to this day and for good reason. The animation is gorgeous, the romance is amazing, the characters...

Your movie's advertising LIED to us!
Your movie's advertising LIED to us!
First of all, this is an essay I had to do for my Advanced Composition class during the Spring semester, so this is a little bit more formal than how my articles usually are.

Disney and Pixar’s movie Brave is about a Scottish Princess named Merida that wants to be free of her arranged marriage and live her life without the responsibilities that come with being a princess. She and her mother, Queen Elinor, don’t see eye to eye because of Merida’s rebellious nature and Elinor preference of the traditional ways. When Merida fails to get her way she ends up buying a spell from a witch (Using...

Who will win? Tangled vs. Frozen! Frozen frost or Tangled tracks?

It is going to be EPIC! So hold on your seats for the comparison of two blockbusters of Disney---TANGLED AND FROZEN. This is my first article, so I am a bit nervous but I hope you enjoy this beauty list!

While Frozen comes with great directors and has much consumerism, Tangled has amazing visuals, entertaining storyline, great music, wonderful characterization and nice places! Let’s Start!

VISUALS AND ANIMATION:
Back in 2010, Tangled was considered to be one of the most beautiful looking animated films ever created. The animators...
