Here are the results of Countdown for The SCARIEST DP Villain. The list is a result of the countdown done by fans. I tried to include at least one comment from everyone, to let the fans show their opinions and I do apologize if I didn't include your's. I also added my own opinion to the descriptions, but it's just my opinion so feel free to disagree.

Enjoy!

11. Gov. Ratcliffe
I wasn't surprised to see Ratcliffe leave first. Personally I've never cared for him, he just seems like spoiled brat to me. But even his fans don't find him all that threatening.

He's more like Hans. They both are greedy bullies. Not menacing or evil. Just greedy and entitled._ wavesurf

Sadly, even though he's high on my favorite villains list, he's not that scary until he sang the 'Savages' song._ Beastlysoul25

He doesn't really look like a villain. _ Sparklefairy375

He's just pompous and stupid._ MaidofOrleans

10. Gaston
I've grown to like Gaston a little more than I once did, but he still doesn't strike fear into my heart. Most fans, including me, feeling he's just stuck-up jerk or bully. Though, I do wish he had beaten Gothel. That's mainly because his size is more imposing and he manages to nearly kill Beast.

He's more of a jerk, than an actual scary villain_ geminigurl89

I agree with geminigurl89. _ Bumbl_ee

I second that,Bumbl_ee _ mimansa

He's not exactly scary at all, he just flirts with Belle (blah blah blah) and thinks that the beast's gonna kill everyone. He just attacks him and a few seconds later he falls.
Is that what you call scary?
Nope._ Funfums

9. Mother Gothel

Like, I said before, I kind of wish she had left before Gaston. But fans seemed find her scarier because she kills Flynn, and I have to admit she was pretty scary in that scene.

She is a pretty good disney villain but not the scariest. I don't get how Mor'du, Shan-Yu, or Maleficent. There pretty scary my cousin isn't allowed to watch Brave or Mulan, because of those she is terrified of them. _Night_Hunter

She's a terrible person for using Rapunzel, but she's not really scary. _Bumbl_ee

She's not scary _ geminigurl89

Mother Gothel is sly and intimidating but not scary. She never seems to scare me._ Isabellagirl033

8. Lady Tremaine
A lot like Gothel most fans found Tremaine to be more of just a mean ol' lady than truly scary. I'm personally glad that she beat Gothel, because I think she's at least little more intimidating as she's not drama queen.

I just don't find her all that scary. If I were to encounter her in real life I don't think I would have much trouble combating her attempts to bully me. _ MaidofOrleans

Her more than anyone, also the Evil Queen. _ anaswill

She can be intimidating, at time and manipulative but not scary. She's just cold hearted. I'd be scared of Mother Gothel the way she could so easily kill Eugene and not skip a beat. I'd also be scared of an evil sorceress, Maleficent, who can hypnotize and put you under spell with me having no control over my actions. _ anukriti2409

I don't think she is scary. She is more like cruel and intimidating stepmother rather than scary. _ Sparklefairy375

7. Dr. Faciliar
I love Faciliar, and he can look scary at times, like while he's singing "Friends on the Other Side". But, I have to admit he's not THAT scary, as many fans stated he's more of "an annoying salesman".

Lady Tremaine is more intimidating than scary but she's much more intimidating than Faciliar. Like I've said before, he just loses his power if you ignore him. He's only able to do what he can do if someone says yes to what he's selling. He comes off more like an annoying salesman than anything else for that reason. _ SarahCorine

i agree, he's an annoying salesman who gets to you only if you pay him any attention. _     anukriti2409

More annoying than creepy. _ Funfums

What the others said. _ Sparklefairy375

6. Jafar
I think Jafar does have some scary scenes, like when he turns into a giant cobra. However there's no denying that he's not really bright and needs Iago to do most of his planning, and that can detract from his threat factor.

I don't find this guy scary. _ Funfums

Not scary. He is more like a sly and ambitious advisor. _ Sparklefairy375

5. Ursula
Ursula is BY FAR my favorite Disney Princess villain, and she is definitely scary, so I'm really happy she made it into the top five.

all of them are scary in one way or the other, but Ursula is more of a manipulator and sly, and can only get to you if you make a deal with her._ anukriti2409

She'll only manipulated the peoples who have a dealwith her. _ Sparklefairy375

Sorry, but Ursula was way scarier than Maleficent :) _ PrueFever

4. Maleficent
The fans were divided on Maleficent. A lot of fans felt like she wasn't scary because she doesn't have deep personality, while others found her very frightening. Personally I fall more into the second category, and I was glad she made it this far.

She's got a grudge about not being invited to a baby's christening. I've never found her to be a scary villain or a convincing villain. Maleficent was most improved when Angelina Jolie stepped into the role._ wavesurf

She's not really all that scary._ Beastlysoul25

I never found her scary at all. Evil Queen, on the other hand, was scary, but just as the hag. I was afraid to watch Snow White because of her when I was a little child._ EmaSomolanyiova

3. The Evil Queen
A lot like Maleficent fans found her either very scary, or not scary at all. While she doesn't look physically threatening I think her magic adds an element of scariness, plus she is pretty creepy looking as the old hag.

Meh. She and Maleficent don't seem scary on just appearances sake. _ wavesurf

As I said before, the Evil Queen is less scary - both Mor'Du and Shan Yu would be able to kill with their bare paws/hands on the spot without having to resort to magic. If I saw the Evil Queen coming, I wouldn't run like I would if I saw Mor'Du. _ace2000

I think they're both pretty scary. But like ace2000 said having to face an animal would just be terrifying. At least with the queen, you have a chance of beating her if you're smart enough. _     M_gann

2. Mor'Du
I'm a little surprised Mor'Du made it this far as most fans, including myself, just find him boring and kind of unnecessary. However most of us can agree that a bear attack would be scary.

He's not as smart or as cunning as the Evil Queen. I feel like it wouldn't be too hard to outsmart him. _ MaidofOrleans

Tough choice. He is scary but the other two are looks scarier. _ Sparklefairy375

He's annoying, not scary. I find the Evil Queen slightly pathetic. I think Shan-Yu is one of the most chilling and disturbing out of all of Disney's Villains, along with Claude Frollo. _ wavesurf

How is he still here? He's just a bear._NCISLuverjk93

1. Shan-Yu
Surprise! Unless I'm mistaken, this is the first time Shun-Yu has ever, been in the top 5, let alone WON a count down! I'm really happy that he won. He definitely deserves the top spot; because I can't image anybody, even people who aren't fans of him not finding this guy terrifying.

This was a quite tough choice. Both are incredibly powerful physical beings. The main difference is that one is a every cunning sadist who controls a whole army and the other is a wild fearsome bear who acts by his instincts. I chose Shan-Yu because the whole combination of cunning, evil and strong just creeps me out._ Isabellagirl033

by far! He's cunning, think evil by choice and enjoys it too _ anukriti2409

Definitely scarier than a bear. He's smarter and commands a whole army. _ MaidofOrleans

Physical is always the scariest and strongest.
Mor'Du is just a random, annoying bear.
What do you expect from a bear?
In real life, for sure.
But in movies... ehh... _Funfums

I haven't written anything in a while, so I thought I'd whip out this list I wrote some weeks ago and unleash my opinions out to the wild.

13. Cinderella

Ah, I have never liked Cinderella's hair. Even when I was five. It's bland, it's boring, I can't tell if it's wavy or poofy or what, and the color reminds me of mustard (which I quite strongly dislike.) Even in an updo, it looks like a butt.

12. Tiana

Her hair seemed like it would have been really curly and pretty. . . had she let it down. Before I chopped all my hair off in a whirlwind rage, I could relate to wanting to keep my...

I decided to do something a little different and do a collab article with my five year old little sister! :D Obviously, the descriptions of hers will not be too brilliant, so I will be doing a reporter/interviewee style for her descriptions. The thing in the italics are the things I said. Normal writing is her response.

Annika's #11
Cinderella

I love the color of her eyes, do not get me wrong, but honestly, they have always creeped me out. They have their really awkward moments, and I have just no been a fan.

I've been a part of this fanclub for a while, and it's my favorite club on Fanpop, so I want to share with anyone willing to read, my Disney Princess list. A lot of factors take place during their list including, personality, style and enjoyment of their feature films. This is my opinion so please don't be offended by anything. Also note, that I don't HATE any Disney Princess. I do hold all of them dear to me, even if I complain about them.

11) Merida- Before you all roll your eyes, I have to admit that when I saw the first commercial for Brave I was so excited and forced my boyfriend to take...

So, I know mhs1025 has written something like this before, but I wanted to write my own. So I will basically talk about what I think about the characters, the storyline, my expectations and just the movie in general. I will try to keep this as spoiler-free as possible, so if you know something about this movie then you probably won't be surprised at anything. Enjoy!

First, I'm going to talk about the 5 main characters (Not Sven because I don't have much to say about him. He is really cute though) And of course, we'll start with:

Anna

Ana is so far, my favourite character in the movie. But...

Feel free to think I'm hallucinating, but to me, it's the real-deal! I've said it once, and I'll say it again-they look JUST like each other! The only difference I see is they eyes. Belle's eyes are hazel and Padme's eyes are brown. If they had the same eye-color, I swear to God they could pass for identical twins! Hell, they can pass for fraternal twins! Of course, they're 2 different people, but they have one thing in common-royalty.

Belle is a princess and Padme was once a queen. The only thing is Belle can forever be a princess and Padme ended her term as queen and became a senator when...

Well, I've already done an article about the faces of the Disney princesses, so now I suppose I'll go ahead and list my opinions about the prettiest disney hair. Let's begin!

11. Snow White
Oh, Snow. I hate how you're at the bottom of all lists ever, but with that boring little bob that looks like a gob of paint you just don't deserve much higher. Many condolences.

"Wanna hear a secret? Promise not to tell? This is actually a helmet, not hair."

Hello, DP Fanpoppers, in this article I'm going to share my thoughts on they way I see 'The Little Mermaid', and try to prove certain negative opinions surrounding this movie wrong with they way I and certain other people see the situation. Feel free to at least read what I, and many other people's thoughts I've included, have to say about this.

You know, I've always found it off when people mention that Ariel didn't really change her ways by the end of the movie. I thinklink, but here's my take on the situation. She does change in the end, it just wasn't as clear or obvious as it should've...

By the end of the Disney Renaissance, layered characters weren’t enough. Now, the princesses had to be heroic as well. This is where Pocahontas and Mulan come in. Pocahontas saves her village and her prince. Mulan takes it up a notch and saves her country and her prince. Both princesses have been accused of problems with her personality. Pocahontas has been said to lose it halfway through the movie. Mulan has been said to have a flat personality.

Pocahontas
Pocahontas was a bit of a stepping stone between the early Renaissance “I want more” princesses and the later Renaissance heroines...
