Anna and Elsa are two of Disney's most passionate, determined, and independent leading ladies. Their time in Frozen and Frozen 2 has been full of action, adventure, and compassion. It's no wonder that their adventures have struck a chord with so many fans. Here is why we should find out why they are in the line of the next generation of Badass Female Characters!

1. Their Sisterly Love Always Saved The Day!

Girls if there is one thing that we've seen in both Frozen movies, it's that it was never a prince charming or knight in shining armor who came in to rescue princess and defeat the villain thus saving the day. It was Anna and Elsa. And them only. Those two have always got each other's backs and are always there for one another when they need each other. That's why their love for one another and heroism saved the day at the end of Frozen l and ll.

2. They've Always Saved Themselves and Each Other On More Than One Occasion!

Disney has had some strong female characters like Mulan, Pocahontas, and Merida save themselves, the men, their people, and their entire land before Frozen's non-damsel in distress trope. But, what is even more badass and heroic is Anna and Elsa rescuing each other and saving themselves to the fullest every second each time.

3. These Girls are Physically Stronger Than The Male Characters and are Pretty Capable of Defending and Taking Care of Themselves a Lot Better Than They Do!

More like Mulan and Merida, Anna and Elsa have developed outstanding feminine meets masculine qualities and much different styles of what can be or look like if She's either a girly or a tomboy. And we all know for sure where our two lovely Queens fall into. Elsa: on the other hand, is the magic and heart of the movie where she's the girly girl since she wear a lot of sparkling dresses in the first and second films. Anna: she is the strength and muscle of the sister duo due to her above average strength she has been shown and used as a way of knowing how to protect herself. Elsa is the femininity with girlish traits and Anna here is the masculinity with tomboyish streaks.

4. The most important and awesomest thing in Frozen is that in an era in which all women were assumed to be damsels in distress, Anna and Elsa showed us that they didn't need rescuing from anyone!

In the past few Disney movies, we have seen most of our female Fisney girls only cook & clean, doing slave labor, and being assigned to an arranged marriage that they had no control over. The women in those movies were described by people as the so-called "damsels in distress" waiting to be rescued by a strong handsome and freeing them from their misery. But in Frozen, that has been thrown straight out the window and kicked to the curb to show the audience that they're a lot better than the princesses we've seen in previous films.

5. They are The First-Ever Disney Queens to Bring Girls and Women to the 21st Century!

Unlike a lot of Disney Princesses, Anna and Elsa were definitely the first two gals to break gender roles and stereotypes proving that they are, in the words of Aladdin and Jasmine, "a whole new world". Because they are the ones who have brought women and girls from all ages to see the light and expose the truth to what they all can really be instead of housewives and maids. Now this something we can all learn to do and have one day.

6. They're The Ones Melted Our Away From The "Guy Saves Girl" Theme Into The "Girl Saves Herself and Others" Propaganda!

As a fan of Disney and the female protagonist film Frozen, I am not a big fan of men saving the women most of the time because if we've learned anything from the damsel in distress theme, it's that you are "only" allowed to sit and cry out for someone to come save your sorry ass and not do a man thing to help yourself. But, there are some movies I can name where the woman saves the man: Anastasia, Antz, The LEGO Movie, Ninjago, and Peter Pan. Those may have had female characters rescue the male characters from danger and get a word of thanks from them, but they are nothing compared to what Anna and Elsa have thrown away and created of what strong realistic ladies can be and how many times they can save themselves and other people while remaining uncaptured and unsaved. But anyway, Anna and Elsa both are two strong independent women who have reached us girls that we don't need a man to save us and that we also don't need to be a man to punch another man. Suck on that, Hans!

Princess Lineup (as of Dec. 2013)
Princess Lineup (as of Dec. 2013)
Hello, and welcome to my second article! I am ApplesauceDoctr, and today I shall discuss the redesigns of the Disney Princesses made earlier this year. There have been some major changes, including new hairstyles, new dresses, and of course, a ton of sparkles. How do their new designs stack up to their original DP designs? Let's find out!

I won't be evaluating these by how accurate the redesigns look to the actual character to the movie; this will evaluate how the redesign looks in comparison to the previous DP design. If that doesn't make sense, let's just begin and you'll get the hang of it....

Eleven beautiful princesses...
I've done hair and face lists for the princesses so far, but that's only physical qualities from the neck up. So this time I'll tackle the princesses bodies, everything from the neck down. After all, isn't that where all the good stuff is? By 'good stuff' I mean the heart, of course.

11. Snow White
Sorry, Snow, I know you're at the bottom of all my lists, but Walt himself said they were still learning when they made Snow White and the Seven Dwarves, anyway. One good thing about Snow White's body is that she looks her age. Snow is supposed to be fourteen, and she looks fourteen. That's a good...

I used to post these on the Disney Prince club but that spot looks dead :( I already did The Disney Princes I would settle down with but I don't really like it now, when I re-read some of my old articles, I sometimes cringe. Personality is more important than looks but I can't really marry someone I'm not attracted to. I'm going to make this short because it can get offensive. I saw JNTA1234 doing this with the Princesses and I laughed a lot so here we go...

I've been planning on doing this for a long while and now I've finally done it. In my opinion this is my perspective of the best Disney Princess role models. What works for me might not work for someone else and what doesn't work for me might work for someone else. Please take into account that this is just my opinion and I promise I'm not being biased and this is my complete honest opinion, enjoy and I look forward to seeing your comments.

11.Aurora

She's actually the only Disney Princess that I consider a bad role model. Part of that is because of her lack of screen time so unlike the...

10. Snow White
Sorry to offend anybody but I think is she is the least attractive of all DPs.
-like: I love her ebony dark hair and a red bow looks even more fantastic in her hair, it looks so well together. Also love her rosy red lips, they are so cute. Her pale skin looks very well with her red lips and black hair. And she has a cute smile.
-dislike: I hate her hair style. What up with that hair? It's the weirdest looking short hair style on animated characters I've seen! Also, as I was looking at her I realized something I never seen before: She has a huge forehead but tiny eyes! Look at her...

Disney movies make me feel so happy inside and even though sometimes they make me tear up I can't get enough. So I'm ranking the DP movies, this time I'll being analyzing different aspects of the films. So forgive me if my writing reads kinda patchy. This will probably be my hardest countdown to do because really love ALL of their movies. Well let's just get over with and remember I love them all.

Wow, I'm on an article roll! It's kind of addicting, once you figure out how to write them and make them pretty and stuff. I hope you like this one, comment and tell me what you think.

10.Mulan and Shang
Everything about this relationship just doesn't fit. They just don't fit with each other. The first time I watched this movie, I honestly thought they would end up as good friends. When the movie ended, I felt a bit confused. He went to dinner with her? Okay. So they're just friends...right? Then Mulan II came out and...ugh. I just don't want to talk about it. I love them both, and I love...

Here's the first article for the Best Disney Princess hair style countdown. It covers the places from 41 to 51. Enjoy!

51. Ariel - with hat

In my opinion this hair style completely deserved to be one of the first ones to leave. The hat is ridiculously ugly.

She wears her bangs under her hat, and it makes me imagine her having a receding hairline, or something. - VGfan30

this hairstyle is just ridiculous - pretty_angel92

This hat is so ugly. - ajotma

It makes her forehead look too big. - CodyVenusTrent

I think she looks funny with a hat on. - MrsEmmaPeel
