I'm just wondering , how could people choose bamon over delena?? Seriously, stelena i understand but why bamon?? I mean there's no sign of love or whatsoever.. i mean seriously no chemistry at all.. u know why delena are so popular is because of the chemistry between elena and damon.. chemistry is very important. Ah, the bafflement of Bamon. People read the books and Bamon are quite different in them to how they are in the show. But I mean, even in the books, Bamon have nothing on DE. But still, people do like them from there. You will always get fans who prefer 'alternative' shippings to the ones who are 'canon' I guess. I don't really get it myself. over a year ago

Because of the books i guess. Without the books this Bamon thing would be nothing more than an idea with no canon fundamental on the show. People refuse to believe than Bonnie Bennett is nothing like Bonnie McCollough. over a year ago

I didn't even know some people shipped Bamon before I went to the net! I had read about Delena and Stelena in magazines so I knew how people called them. I liked Stelena back then but I knew Delena had the biggest fanbase because it was the most talked about ship in the magazines . I was never against DE because I knew they would happen at some point and when I finally got to episode 19 and saw the epic DE dance, I understood what every journalist meant when they said they have the best chemistry on the show, it was intense! So starting then I was torn between SE, DK and DE but season two killed any interest I had for SE but I still wanted to see more of DK and with the season two finally, I taught SE will become better.Then season 3 came and really put the finale nail in SE's coffin and that's when I became a Delena shipper! So I made an account on fanpop and joined the DE club. Then I read comments about Bamon and I was like " I think they misspelled Damon, wait what?" over a year ago

So yeah, there is no way someone who's not on the net can like Bamon, even when I read the books Bamon never seemed like an option simply because Damon never harbored ANY romantic feelings towards Bonnie. Even in the bathtub scene, THE Bamon scene, that ALL Bamon fans see as insanely sexy, Damon didn't even see Bonnie as a women! He compared himself to a mother bird and Bonnie to a baby! How is that sexy? In the books Damon never saw her as a romantic interest. From Damon's end every single kiss they shared was chaste, only Bonnie saw it as romantic. Bonnie was obviously in love with Damon but it was clearly one sided! over a year ago

@Delenasalvatore is right some people simply refuses to ship canon couples. I guess it's just not appealing to them. Unfortunately shipping AU couples is extremely frustrating. Have you guys ever been on the Bamon spot? The Internet has poisoned their minds. The only things they talk about are; in order of most talked : #1:How much they hate Delena, Nian, Damon, Elena, Ian, Nina and their fans #2: Bamon fanfictions #3:how much they hate the show, Julie Plec, Kevin Williamson and all the show's writers #4 and last: Reassuring each other that every scenes Damon and Bonnie share can only be interpreted as romantic and DE fans (and some SE fans) who refuses to admit it are the dumbest, blindest people ever. Seriously years of frustration has turn Bamon into a hate group :-/ over a year ago

Well do they really think that bamon can pull a nice show?? I'm sorry but even though a story is well written and seems very nice, it won't work if there is no chemistry between them. No one will watch the show. For me, aside from elena, I think damon suits better with rebekah than Bonnie. At least they have chemistry far better than bamon. I'm just saying, at least rebekah have a chance for damon whereas Bonnie have no chance. I mean they never had a scen which shows love or connection between them. I'm just saying why would bamon fans think that there will be a chance between them. Hello, all I can see is full of hatred between their character. Although I love Bonnie, bamon is just nonsense.. over a year ago

I don't really see him dating a vampire. He puts up with them, even has some respect for some of them and loves his sister despite being one, but they've turned his character so far against them that right now he'd only be a danger to Rebekah. Maybe if they get rid of this whole hunter thing, events could lead them to come together, but as of right now, it's not looking good. over a year ago
