Happy Halloween! After much thinking about this, I think I finally came up with another article that i'm sure would be interesting to talk about.

Everything lives in a balance. there can't be good without bad, light without darkness, etc etc...The dichtonomy of ying-yang and how they complement each other is a subject that I find fascinating to read about, and mostly to apply it to other things. Something interesting i noted is how often in Disney the villains are pretty much the exact opposite of the heroes, but they often sometimes come from a same base. And in that base, they have much in common.

Doing this was hard, because i had to think of a few good reasons and think properly which heroine fitted which villain, and such. It might be flawed in some parts, and I know that, so if you want to disagree in a few of these choices, you're perfectly allowed to. After all, a good discussion never hurt anybody.

I based this on my ideas and also on a few things Audreyfreak has said from time to time. So, thanks for the idea Audrey! It certainly inspired me to make this.

Let's begin.

1- Snow White-In Common with- Mother Gothel

Both of them have a similar personality in certain parts, seeing as how both are a bit dominating, controlling, are handy in survivor situations, and both manage to take care of others under their wings. Rather, their methods of caring are different, but they originate from the same cause.

Others similar to Snow: Gaston- people either love them or massively hate them, and they both always try to showcase their strength to others, while working on their own with their flaws.

2- Cinderella- In Common With- Lady Tremaine

How fitting. It seems Tremaine may have slightly influenced Cinderella in a few things...But yes, both carry this air of elegance around themselves, an air of dignity and grace that they let themselves use against others, and both have self-preservation skills, and always manage to look for situations where they come out on top.

Others similar to Cindy- Mordu, not the best choice, but I put them together based on this observation that bear!Mordu just wants things to be the way they used to be before tragedy occurred, much like Cindy.

3- Aurora- Shere Kahn

Both are intelligent, quiet, and tend to work in solitary. They both value the more important matters of life, and tend to put aside the more frivolous things.

4- Ariel- Cruella

This was almost perfect. Both of them have obsessive hobbies that take all their attention, and once they get focused on one subject matter, they'll stop at nothing to get what they want, sometimes not even thinking of the consequences of their actions beforehand.

Others in common- Ursula- Since both are very determined and'll stop at nothing to get what they want.

5- Belle- Ratcliffe

Both are well mannered and proper, care for social etiquette, have sorta "intellectual" tastes when compared to their much more "common" companions, and mostly focus on their own personal desires, while dismissing other people; which makes others think of them as snobs.

6- Jasmine- Hans

(i think this is where i begin to falter...If you find either this one or any of the next ones incorrect, please do say so).

Finding a villain for Jasmine. Not because there aren't any, but Jasmine is very quick to act emotionally and I can't think of many villains that are sorta like her- quick to emotional outbursts and impatient. The only one I can think is Hades (but he's fit better for Anna), Prince John and the Queen of Hearts (but they are very childish, something which isn't Jasmine imo).

But her and Hans have this aspect of manipulation in common. They know they're very attractive, and they kinda use that to their advantage, fooling others to get what they want out of them using seduction, charm and good looks.

7- Pocahontas- Clayton

Aside from the big difference they have concerning animal safety, both have in common this element of adventure and energy that pulls them in to get into dangerous situations, and both tend to be very persuasive with wanting others to bend to their will.

Other villains she has in common- Scroop- Not that much, but they both have this element of mystery and stealthiness that they use to their advantage to spy on others.

8- Mulan- Shan Yu

Another fitting pair. Finding a villain for Mulan was hard, since not many villains are humble or selfless like she is. And while many are clumsy like she was at the beginning of her movie, many stay clumsy, unlike her who works hard to get to be her best.

But, funny enough, she has much in common with Shan Yu. Both of them work their best when alone, and they're both very observant, managing to catch aspects of other people not many other notice, by observing things and coming to simple conclusions in their own intrusive manner.

Others she has in common with- Hans Since both are patient and perseverant when doing their work, and they find ways to solve problems that others can't seem to solve (think of Mulan and the pole...).

9- Tiana- Scar

Searching a villain fit for Tiana was difficult because she managed to fit well with a LOT of villains. So I just managed to chose one of them, though I think she also fits well the other characters too.

Her and Scar have in common this attitude of being so dedicated to their goals that they end up forgetting the important aspects of life, and others look at them as rather heartless or cold for the things they do.

Other villains in common- Queen Grimhilde, the Horned King, Ratigan, Rourke - All of them perfectionists who want to do things the proper way and may seem to look obsessed/unethical by others.

10- Rapunzel- Edgar

Searching a villain for Rapunzel was hard, since she kinda lacks any flaws that could serve as basis for villains, but i figured Edgar would be a good fit. Both value loyalty, promises and faithfulness, yet one shouldn't underestimate either, since many tend to take advantage of either of them.

Others in common with Rapunzel- Facilier- Both kinda have a charming way of dealing with people. And both believe in opportunities and possibilities, no matter how strange they might seem at times.

11- Merida- Queen of Hearts

Awww yess. This one was pretty easy. They're both loud, not afraid of saying their opinion, get into conflicts with others almost all the time, and they spend more time playing frivolous hobbies over doing their royal duties.

12- Anna- Hades

I think Hades also has aspects that make him a good fit for Jasmine, but i kinda settled for Anna since she needed a villain too. Both of them tend to be kinda fun to hang around with, and both have a fast tongue, but they also have a big temper that they can't control at times and worsens their situations rather than make things better.

13- Elsa- Frollo

The most overloved princess in the fandom with the most overloved villain, kinda fitting.

Jokes aside, both seemed to have grown up in a strict household, trying to turn them into proper citizens ("You know I am a righteous man..." "Be the good girl you always have to be..."). Both carry this air of elegance around them and both have to "hide" their true self from others because it's a form their society looks down upon.

They both carry an air of wisdom and intelligence, though it may sound cruel at first ("The world is cruel, the world is crazy...out there they'll revile you as a monster..." "You can't marry a man you just met...").

And lastly, they both think locking up people is a good solution to problems.

Others similar to Elsa- Ursula, Bowler Hat Guy and King Candy- Mostly for shared cynicism they have, and wanting to belong to something because they tend to be outcasts.

And that's all. Agree with these? Disagree? Tell me in the comments what do you think of this! Writing this article has been fun, and giving me a new introspective look over the villains.

10. Megara - Hercules

She is drawn in a very specific, edgy style to fit in with her film's animation but still, Meg has beautiful purple eyes, pouty pink lips and gorgeous brunette curls. I find her quite beautiful although her body is the single most unrealistic which is forgivable since it's one of the cartoonier films.

9. Mulan

One of my all-time favourite Disney characters, she is never one to top the beauty lists. But I actually find her to be quite lovely. Simple but at the start of the film she has gorgeous hair. Of course the designers had to make it believable that she could...

It's no secret that I absolutely DESPISE the movie The Little Mermaid 3: Ariel's Beginning. It's absolutely insulting, has terrible continuity, the original characters (except for Ariel) are completely different characters, Triton is a one-dimensional and exaggerated version of his former self, the story about music being banned is stupid, the villain is lame with an equally lame song, it's full of plot holes, the new characters are unnecessary and unmemorable, Athena died in a dumb way (Leave the music box you idiot), and it puts more effort into gorgeous animation and good songs (Except for...

Years have gone by and the Tremaine's had been blessed with two little girls. The elder daughter was named Drizella, after her late grandmother, the Lady Drizella Tremaine. She had curly brown hair, dark eyes, a pointy nose, thin red lips, and wore green a lot with a big blue boy in her hair. She wasn't very pretty but she wasn't ugly either, she was only plainly pretty. She resembled her late grandmother and a little bit from her mother. She also was also very much like her grandmother because of her snobbish attitude and love for the more superficial things in life. However, she didn't inherit...

Astrological Zodiac Signs
Astrological Zodiac Signs
Okay so I have seen some articles (outside of this site) with "Disney Princess Astrology Signs" but I always feel like they are inaccurate, most likely made by people who are not as big DP fans as the people here. I also think they assign the DPs to specific astrology signs based on their image rather than the substance of the character (i.e. Making Ariel a Pisces just because she's a mermaid or Merida a Sagittarius just because she loves archery.) That being said, I used to love Astrology when I was a teenager, as I thought it was very neat and I have always loved the stars. I had a phase...

Okay so I have read multiple places on here that "Ariel just left her family for some guy she barely knew" and variations thereof. I coincidentally enough just watched this film within the last month and remember it very freshly so I would like to contribute my opinion on this matter. First though, I would like to remind people: These Disney Princess films do not take place in a modern time and setting. Most of them take place over a 100 years ago and are during a time when most people were dead by 40 and half weren't even making it that long. To put it in perspective, the equivalent of a woman...

Hola!

For those of you who don't know me, I'm AprilGhost, and here is a list of people who, in my opinion, look like Disney princesses.

A few things, first:
1. I have not cast Pocahontas. This is partly because it is so hard to find Native American models/actresses, but also because she was a real person. I think it's insulting to dreamcast her.
2. Yes, some of these are, in fact, models. I'm not saying that these people should play the princesses; I'm just saying that that's how I imagine them.
3. I haven't dreamcasted Elsa or Merida since I can't find anyone who looks like them.

On with the list!...

Source: This is how she would like in animated form!!!
Okay, so I already did this, but with a different method. This time, I'll just be doing the regular way I always do it. Anyways, please keep in mind that this is my opinion, and we may disagree, so respect my opinion and I'll respect yours.

Enjoy the article! :)

13. Merida
In my opinion, she definitely isn't ugly, but she's not as pretty as the rest of the Disney Princesses here. First, I absolutely LOVE her curly red hair! It's absolutely gorgeous. I also love her eyes, they're very pretty, especially with the blue color to them. However, I do have a problem with her head. Her hair is...

13. Snow White
Snow would definitely be higher on my list if her curls were more defined. I like the idea of her hair styled in a bob with a red bow. Unfortunately, that idea didn't come out too nicely to me.

12. Cinderella
Strawberry blonde is my favorite hair color and Cinderella's burnt orange hair color is no doubt uniquely gorgeous. Speaking of unique, so are her bangs but I can't say I really like them as they look like plastic to me.

11. Tiana
The little strands of curls that hang down are pretty cute. Although it doesn't look like you can do much with Tiana's hair but tie it...
