I've been wanting to write this one for a while now. I wrote down all of the dancing scenes from the Princess films, and formed this list. It wasn't easy, because I like them all!
My love and appreciation for this movie has diminished over time. The characters are so-so, the plot could use some work, and I'm not that crazy over the music either. But the DANCING...wow. To put it lightly, it BLOWS. I realize the style of dancing they do in the movie is from that time and era, but come on. All they do is bounce around and kick their legs up; any idiot can do that!
I don't know if this is even considered dancing; all they do is hop around on a lily pad, and swim in circles; but at least they're not jumping around and kicking like they're demon possessed. It's a sweet moment though. The only reason this beat out the other sceen from this movie, is because I like this song.
Now this is more like it. Aurora and Phillip light up whenever they are together and when they dance, magic happens. They just float around, not even noticing that Flora and Merryweather are battling it out yet again over the stupid dress. I believe it was Straggy who said once that you should always trust Merryweather when it comes to the dress...I agree!
Belle must be one hell of a dance teacher. The Beast didn't know how to dance, she taught him, and in the finale they waltz like a couple of pros. The only downside in my opinion is that its a rip off of the dance in "Sleeping Beauty", but I still love it. Belle's dress looks prettier to me in this scene as well.
How freaking sweet is this dance? I know it doesn't last very long, but these two just look so cute here. When Eric holds Ariel up and twirls her around I feel like my heart is going to explode. I reeeeally wish they would've made that dance last a little bit longer!
One of the most romantic Disney moments of all time in my opinion.I used to fantasize that this would happen to me someday; then I realized if I was all alone in the forest and some random guy came up from behind me, grabbed my hand and wouldn't let go of me, I'd probably kick him where the sun doesn't shine and run like hell. Some things are just better left in the movies.
I love this scene from Tangled. It's happy and cheerful. The music in this part of the movie is it's best I think. There's a lot happening, but not so much that you lose track of what's going on. I love how Rapunzel dances and twirls around.
This is one of my all time favorite scenes ever. I love the music, and the atmosphere. I love it so much, because it's a transition scene; here Belle goes from "liking" the Beast, to actually falling in love with him. When she smiles up at him, then lays her head on his chest I just melt. It touches my heart.
I'm sure a lot of people will be surprised that this is so high on my list. One of the first movies I got, besides "Cinderella", was a Disney Sing-A-Long tape, and it had this song on it. It makes me happy when I watch it. Snow White looks so darn happy as she dances around with her new friends.
Yep...Cinderella is #1 on another list of mine. I can't help it! I love the music, the lyrics, and the animation is just gorgeous. If only she had a more interesting Prince...*sighs*...Ok, I promise I'm not going to go off on the Prince AGAIN. Her dress swaying back and forth mesmerizes me each time I watch it. Cinderella is so kind and good...she definitely deserved this romantic moment.

Today that is no longer the case.
Things have changed, and I don’t understand.
Nothing is going as I planned.
In his presence I used to be scared.
I was lonely and I didn’t think he cared.
But now there is something different in his eyes.
He’s letting his guard down, and isn’t wearing a disguise.
His inner beauty is finally shining through.
He is sincere and true.
Now I stand in front of a mirror in a beautiful yellow dress.
I feel a little nervous, I must confess.
I think I have fallen in love with him.
Should I tell him how I feel, and go out on a limb?
Yes, my feelings must be released,
Because this Beauty has fallen in love with a Beast.
I realized before I continued on with writing my Disneyville High school story, I needed to put my various students into cliques of some sort. I have one rule only *No Disney herione/princess can be in the "Meal Girl" area. That's restricted to the triplets (one of whom is called Helene), Driezella and Anastasia, and anyone else I can think of who isn't a Disney heroine (or isn't a teacher)
Gaston is jock-either football or wresting.
the others?
Snow White* she's the youngest
Belle-nerdy type I think
Ariel-(I need something for her to collect?)
Aurora?
Jasmine?
Louis-rebel
Aladdin-loner?
